But then, while the rain was falling, the sun broke through the clouds. A rainbow formed itself, pointing with one end where a pot of gold would be found. The next day was a beautiful Friday, the Friday our beaufitul boy was born. Our pot of gold, our miracle. And on the spot where the rainbow pointed, now stands a golden tree. It's a life-changing moment, becoming a parent. Quite literally. Everything changes. For us, it was by choice. Something we had really wanted. A change that was more welcome than anything else. And on that day, as I looked out of the window of a hospital, I saw this beautiful golden tree basking in the sun. That was 12 years ago. And there is so much I learned in those twelve years. About being a parent, about myself, about love, about life. Tomorrow, we will celebrate being parents for 12 years. But even more than that, we will celebrate the 12th birthday of our son. What will you celebrate this weekend?Celebrate with us by becoming a Tripplr.
