# Digest 08/22

_August is coming to an end, which means it's time to publish our new digest! Find out what we accomplished over the past month at Tsunami Exchange!_

The end of July was really hot. We added 2 of the biggest cryptocurrencies to trade on Tsunami Exchange. Listing [BTC](https://app.tsunami.exchange/trade/BTC) and [ETH](https://app.tsunami.exchange/trade/ETH) is a necessary decision, without which no exchange can exist. Daily trading volume on these pairs accounts for 28% of the total trading volume on Tsunami Exchange.

In the process of updates, we try not only to improve the system, but also to be closer to our users. So, one of our community members @hawky\_WavesBI created a tool that allows you to monitor trading activity on Tsunami Exchange. And of course there is nothing without humor! The final event of July was the first meme contest, in which we did not limit the imagination of our users. Once again we saw how many really talented and creative people there are in our community. When reviewing the works, our team was filled with a lot of positive emotions!

August was really productive for us! There were several key events. The team introduced a rewards system, thanks to which the user can get back up to 400% of spent commissions by actively trading on Tsunami Exchange. We added new trading pairs with [Pluto](https://app.tsunami.exchange/trade/PLUTO), [West](https://app.tsunami.exchange/trade/WEST), [EGG](https://app.tsunami.exchange/trade/EGG) to which users responded with positive feedback! The highest trading activity among new pairs was observed in pairs with EGG and Pluto (more than 10k USDN). The team is working hard to increase the number of new users and trading activity of traders.

Like true superheroes, we resiliently defeated the [attack](https://t.me/tsunami_exchange/46) on our protocol, and prevented the attackers from eliminating our users' positions. We have contacted the people who attempted the attack, analyzed the technical component, and will release an update that will make our users' funds even more secure.

We ended the hot summer with increased liquidity paired with Waves and the burning of 100,000 $TSN tokens! Burning allows us to create a deflationary model that is prescribed in our tokenomics. Token issuance is now only 900,000 $TSN. The average APR on $TSN [staking](https://app.tsunami.exchange/staking) for the month is holding steady at a confident >10%.

The amount of work done does not make us stop there. Big updates with orders, new trading pairs, feedback week and much more are awaiting users in the future.
