# Uncle's Budget for PoolyCon 2023

SAN FRANSOKYO – It takes a special ragtag team of believers to throw a pool party in the depths of crypto winter, but that’s exactly the challenge the folks over at [Pool Together](https://app.pooltogether.com/deposit) have taken up with [PoolyCon 2023](https://poolycon.xyz/). Who knows, it may even be the spark that ignites the next bull market 🔥.

Parallel to ETH Denver, PoolyCon will bring together Poolys, Pfers, and Purple Frogs to celebrate pragmatic saving. In its inaugural year, PoolyCon promises to be a can’t-miss event with panels, pizza, and a possible peek into the protocol’s newest iteration - the much-hyped [hyperstructure](https://gov.pooltogether.com/t/the-pooltogether-prize-savings-hyperstructure/2753) 👀

But we’re still in a bear market (right? 🤔) and I wanted to make sure I indulged in a responsible manner. So I gave ChatGPT six years of my Ethereum conference expenses and asked it to make me a bear-market budget for PoolyCon.
