image from Pinterestwe met before, petey understood my design behind the fumes, i was acquainted with the reason for his quivering beak. we shared a space under the rain, as we had shared an alliance under the moon. seen in our true forms, unafraid of the drops, the dawn told our story. “come to me, i’m offering shelter” perhaps we shouldn’t mix. wings spread and set ablaze, no goodbyes as he journeyed away. we will meet again. -t. brisibe
