_Aloha, welcome to Uqbar’s weekly rollup. Every Monday we’ll provide you with exciting updates on everything Uqbar: dev reports, media mentions, and general happenings around the Urbit ecosystem._

Media and News
==============

* The [Assembly 2022](https://assembly.urbit.org/) [schedule](https://assembly.urbit.org/schedule) has been released and Uqbar is the star of the show. Sunday will feature not one, but _two_ Uqbar presentations. At noon, Director of Technical Outreach **~hocwyn-tipwex** will present on the Galaxy Stage with a **_BIG ANNOUNCEMENT_**. Then, at 3:15 on the Universe Stage, Lead Developer **~hodzod-walrus** will demonstrate on how to write smart contracts in Hoon. If you haven’t gotten your [tickets](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/urbit-assembly-2022-tickets-370588930467), now is your last chance!

* Here’s some “cool information”: Uqbar’s hit show, _The Network Age_, was recently named Apple’s number 2 business podcast in the exalted Republic of Malta.

In this week’s episode, **~bichul-ritsen**, **~timluc-miptev**, and **~nilrun-mardux** dive      into the headlines, dissecting SEC regulation, Coinbase lawsuits, and the death of      Queen Liz, before laying out their vision for digital cities. Make sure you have your      talking points ready for your next visit to the Mediterranean.

* [Chorus One](https://chorus.one/), blockchain infrastructure heroes in their own right, published [part two of their deep dive on Urbit](https://medium.com/chorus-one/urbit-and-crypto-synergies-4eb47cffb5d), highlighting our role in the greater Web3 ecosystem and calling Uqbar a “gem among gems.” Suffice it to say, we agree. Thanks **~dosnul-sogteg**!

* It was a star turn from our fearless leader **~timluc-miptev** on the [latest episode of _Other Life_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDysDg6JYiw), the popular podcast from social scientist **Justin Murphy** (**~hatryx-lastud**). While ~timluc did an excellent job explaining why he is “insanely bullish on Urbit,” he left us with more questions than answers about his airpod use and choice of shirt.

Urbit at Large
==============

* **~tanpen-ridlyt** is working on a grant to bring _yet another podcast_ to the Urbitsphere.  While we at Uqbar already have the market cornered, internal discussion revealed that we actually like people who talk about Urbit, so we’re on board. ~tanpen-ridlyt’s proposed show, _Applied Urbit_, addresses “what people can actually do and make here with those apps.”  In essence, he’ll be doing a series of one-on-ones with developers and builders in the burgeoning app ecosystem. Find out more at: **~tanpen-ridlyt/applied-urbit**

* _The Mars Review of Books_ will be back for issue #2 at Assembly. Editor-in-Chief **~librex-dozryc** (another vaunted Assembly speaker) has generously teased the cover, designed by the multi-talented **~mallus-fabres**.  This new issue features several respected Urbiters, including Uqbar’s own **~habsul-rignyr**, who apparently has no reservations about abusing his position to self-promote in the _Weekly Rollup_. Find out more about the Mars Review on Urbit at **~bidbel/a** and pre-order a copy at [store.marsreview.org](https://store.marsreview.org/).
