# Introducing Utopia on GLMR

Utopia is a web3 incubator and venture DAO built on Moonbeam with an emphasis on P2E/Metaverse sector. We crowdsource our community members’ collective expertise, network, and efforts to identify potential high risk/reward early investments + deploy capital cross-chain to invest and grow our treasury fund.

**Business Model**

**Stag 1: Bootstrapping phase**

In the bootstrapping phase:

*   Users will bond stablecoins (USDC/FRAX) to help bootstrapping Utopia’s treasury fund with capital
    
*   In exchange, users will receive $UPIA tokens with various investment utilities
    

**Stage 2: Capital deployment/Co-investing phase**

With the capital in Utopia’s treasury fund:

*   Utopia asset management team will deploy fund cross-chain into high risk/reward early stage investments (Seed round/Strategic round of potential P2E/Metaverse projects)
    
*   Users will have the option to co-invest (invest in the same deal, with your own personal fund) into deal flows available to UtopiaDAO by spending $UPIA tokens
    
*   Profit from capital allocated by treasury fund will go back to our DAO treasury for future investments
    
*   100% profit from capital allocated by users will be distributed back to your personal wallet
    

**_How co-investing works:_**

*   A typical ticket size (max allocation) for seed investment deals is approximately $25,000 - $200,000
    
*   Let’s assume: Project X offers UtopiaDAO a $200k allocation seed allocation, and we decide to invest $50k from our treasury fund and split the $150k allocation between all co-investing DAO members

*   The $150k will be divided amongst 300-500 interested members in a first come first serve basis at a minimal allocation of around $300-500 for each DAO member.
    
*   The co-investing scheme rewards our DAO members and provides incentives for the whole community working together in finding deal flows, researching, and supporting our partnered projects to become successful by leveraging the power of the entire community
    

**Stage 3: IDO Launchpad**

*   For the next stage of our development, Utopia will introduce our IDO Launchpad to bring more investing options to our token holders
    
*   A staking function will also be released to grow your token stack passively
    
*   Treasury-management side, our asset management team will also deploy idle fund cross-chain to different yield farming strategies to turn fund into productive assets.
