# 2023 Milady Advent Calendar

Hi friends, MERRY CHRISTMAS and thanks for joining me in the first ever Milady Advent Calendar!

This project came about because [**@WolfWorldRun**](https://x.com/wolfworldrun/status/1726987172698632251?s=20) tweeted about wanting an advent calendar back in November. I thought it would be neat to use Twitter’s sensitivity filter to recreate the feeling of ‘unwrapping’ a new surprise each day.

I tried to include as many people in our community as possible, with a priority on ‘smaller’ accounts. Since there are quite a lot of us in milady, the ‘selection’ process was really simply: add whoever asks to be added then pad out each day with randomly chosen miladys who interacted with a previous day’s post. However if I do this again next year I’ll have a better system of collecting pfps, esp. since there are several people I wish I had included this year but forgot to put in for whatever reason.
