# The Quantum Prison of the Postmodern Mind By [VICTOR ALEXANDER](https://paragraph.com/@victoralexander-2) · 2025-06-26 --- **The Postmodern Mind** ----------------------- In avoiding the light of the sacred, the postmodern mind enters the darkness of a quantum prison—a disordered state where superposition-like possibilities overwhelm order and stability. The consequences of rejecting the divinity of man, final & formal causality, and the verticality of soul is to be trapped in the quantum prison of a postmodern mind. A disordered mind which intermingles desires, fantasy, self referential narratives and algorithmic embedding into a perception of reality that is _without limit_, and by definition without order. It is a mind founded on an ontology of reality drawn from Quantum Mechanics. The Quantum _observer effect_ dictates that observing a quantum event, changes it. Reality is fully up to the observer. Without an ontology or metaphysics of reality, of final and formal cause - how can any collective standards be developed? To set as moral standard or ruling metaphor that everyone's observation is truth is eminently incompatible with the necessary negotiation of inherent differences which enables any collective cohesion and integrity. It is a restless mind eternally subject to wandering and uncovering more and more possibilities endlessly, without the rest that order affords. > _Hell hath no limits, nor is circumscribed In one self place, but where we \[the damned\] are is hell,And where hell is must we ever be_ > > \-Christopher Marlowe; _Tragical History of Doctor Faustus_ This mind wanders by nature of its disconnection from reality and truth, continually erecting greater and greater degrees of justifications for the unstable disorder and relational malfunctions caused by ontological entrapment to the compulsions of the self (desires, fantasies, narratives). The Postmodern concept: text and language is _everything_. Reality is nothing and language is everything. If you control the texts and information, you are God. If you control media and the informational currents you can control the mind and control everything. In the final account, the greatest danger arrives when words themselves are detached from meaning. This is a postmodern approach which was expressed in the US militaries "network warfare" approach. This is the _narrative machine_. The most culturally famous example in the US is "woke" culture or "cancel" culture, which issues a never satisfied set of criticisms based on the endless **_personalization_** of all things. This personalization is the separation from reality, the zeitgeist of the "modern artist" who creates along a spectrum of absurdity in consideration that the value of their art comes from their own exclusive , subjective originality. This give rise to the myth that geniuses must always “have huge egos”. **Postmodern War and Quantum declarations** ------------------------------------------- > _"Iran said it paused attacks on Israel on Monday, but also stated it had not come to a “final decision” on a ceasefire." - The Hill_ In postmodern warfare of drones, AI, and informational warfare- war is not really _war_, and similarly a ceasefire is not actually, a _ceasefire._ It is so only insofar a_s_ it corresponds to the narrative of one nation's perspective- _their truth_. When conditions, problems, objectives of war cannot be mutually defined on a shared basis of implicit reality, there can be no concrete objective to war. And when there is no objective, there is no longer any common measure or proportion ; no balance or comparison of alternatives is possible, and compromise is inconceivable. Both nations have unconsciously lost sight of his ideal and replaced it with a narrative without substance. For each, the victory of what he still calls _his idea_ can **no longer mean anything except the extermination of the enemy** ; and each of them will scorn any suggestion of peace, replying to it with the same argument as Minerva in Homer and Poincare in 1917 : ''The dead do not wish it.'"\*\* > _"We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long, and so hard, that they don't know what the fuck they are doing"_ -Donald Trump This war might as well be termed: "A Quantum Entanglement". **The Postmodern mind & Fascism** --------------------------------- Naturally, excess is a postmodern criteria- and _accelerationism_ stems naturally from within it. The emphasis on speed of change confuses the future and the past, consequences for decisions are not involved. Networks are the primary structure in a postmodern mind a multiplicity of variables where any single variable may upend and effect the entire logic - exemplified by social media. But what is achieved if all signals blare into the quantum field into each other incongruently? endless noise. What happens to _truth_ and _facts_ and _reality_ in such an environment? It is by definition unaccountable. Postmodernism's reality is darkness, there is nothing there implicitly. Thus, because of the nihilistic accelerationism, postmodernity naturally introduces posthumanism. The neural embedding of all reality itself into a quantum layer of artificial intelligence in which the individual becomes simply a collection of data parameters and preferences subsumed or embedded into a broader knowledge matrix. In this case, agency is also embedded into a knowledge matrix. There is no ovearching logic to an LLM, it will tell you approximately what _you_ want to hear by endless referentials. This is the moment of _singularity._ Nothing is true anymore, and nothing is false, nobody knows and nobody cares. This is the logical conclusion of the Postmodern mind. Thus, quantum computing as hyperaccelerationism stands as the next frontier for the postmodern mind, quantum reality its ultimate triumph. It needs not even to state that the resulting political and social conditions enabled by this ontological view is a trending chaos and disorder ultimately resulting in various "wave functions" of _facism_ (technofacism is the current "collapsed state"). Political voids are always taken _forcefully_, and paradoxically, the outcome of the postmodern reality creates the conditions for power itself to assume ontological supremacy, erecting and elevating itself as the maker of order.
