They sign and broadcast messages (casts) using private keys, which are validated and stored by the Hubs. These Hubs enable user interactions, such as follows and reactions, ensuring a transparent and secure social network experience. Farcaster integrates deeply with Ethereum, enabling users to interact with dApps and participate in blockchain activities. The open ecosystem encourages developers to build and integrate their own dApps, enriching the platform’s features and services.Key dApps in the Farcaster EcosystemWarpcast: A Web3 social media app with an interface similar to Twitter/X, available on web and mobile. Users can post casts, interact with others, display NFTs, and track on-chain activities directly in the feed.Paragraph: A decentralized publishing platform similar to Substack but with advanced Web3 features. It offers NFT memberships, token gating, detailed analytics, and email automation, allowing creators to monetize content and collaborate with teams.Kiwi News: A crypto media dApp where users engage using community NFT cards. Members share links to podcasts, articles, or videos, vote on top content, and access ad-free subscriptions.
