Step 1: Visit the official website Vortex, click on the top right corner “connect the wallet,” and connect the Metamask walletMetamask wallet is quite commonly used, remember to keep your mnemonic phrase and private key safe. If you don’t have Metamask, choose WalletConnect, and you can log in with other wallet services. Step 2: Click “overview” to view your account status.Step 3: “Token” is the spot account, “Future” is the contract account. Transfers between L2 are automatically transferred to the spot account. If you need to open a contract, you need to transfer separately from the token account to the future account. Ps: These tokens and balances are on the second layer, so the balance in Metamask or other wallets is not visible here (because the these wallets are all linked to the first layer network). How to Transfer Assets from Wallet (L1) to Vortex Exchange’s L2 Network? You can only trade on Vortex after transferring the wallet’s assets to Vortex Exchange’s L2 network, as Vortex is based on ZK-SNARK for order confirmation and matching. All transactions are completed on the second layer, and the final result is packaged back to the first layer, enabling low-cost and efficient trading. Click “deposit,” enter the amount you want to transfer to L2 for trading, and click deposit.Confirm from the wallet. Now you can trade spot! Click on “Trade-Orderbook” (i.e., order book spot trading), and you will see that the trading balance has become the 34.9U as we just transferred.If you want to trade contracts, you need to transfer assets from spot to contract wallet. See below for details. **How to Transfer from Spot Account to Contract Account?**Vortex’s spot account and contract account are separate. Follow the steps in the picture.Select the amount to transfer to the contract account, make sure the network and transfer token type on the left (e.g., BSC, USDT), and click transfer below.Then click on “perpetual” on the top side. You can see that the contract account on the right now has a balance, and you can trade contracts on this page. **How to Withdraw Assets from L2 Back to Wallet (L1)?**After trading, if you want to withdraw from L2 to L1 (e.g., TP wallet, Metamask wallet, etc.), follow these steps: Click withdraw.Make sure the correct chain and token are selected. Input the recipient address and amount. Click submit below. Sign and confirm (it takes time to withdraw assets back to L1 from L2 after the deduction, so it is not displayed instantly, estimated 30min or so, depending on trading time and quantity). How to Transfer Between L2? Click “L2 Send” to transfer between second-layer users or to the other party’s Vortex second-layer wallet.How to Add Metamask Wallet Web Extension?
