**#**[**Character AI**](https://beta.character.ai/) is a project that specializes in creating the next generation of conversational artificial intelligence.

🤑Investors and investments: #[a16z](https://decrypt.co/124428/character-ai-chatbot-artificial-intelligence-crypto-andreessen-horowitz-a16z) led a $150M Series A funding round. Pantera Capital and Sequioa Capital, and other interesting personalities have signed up to [tweet](https://twitter.com/character_ai?s=20) about the project.

The likelihood of raising new funding is very high 👍 There's a pretty unusual site where you can already sign up and interact with different characters. There are a couple of bots that you can debate with on topics ranging from religion to language learning, a lot of different categories - for all tastes and colors. And you can even talk to a crypto-trader hamster [here](https://beta.character.ai/chat?char=NgBFZYVJYqZfxNll7fhq1DJgB9ptlgTDBkdvijNvICQ) 😏 They have essentially only one site that simultaneously performs the following functions: a newsfeed and branches for communication, similar to the same discord. The topic of #AI has been in high gear lately. The project has planned to launch its own token, so now, we can be active at an early stage, perhaps in the future we will get credit for it. I think it's worth doing and periodically keep an eye out for news and important updates.
