It was another exciting week in onchain gaming. Paima announced mobile support Tarochi Season 1. Dojo revealed the winners of its Holiday Game Jam Hackathon. And a new, month-long hackathon was just announced. The past few days were also big for competitive onchain gamers, as several tournaments and events were held or announced. For instance, WASD and \[WE\] hosted the first Words3 Community Round on Base in collaboration with Small Brain Games. In addition, the two of us and our friends at ggQuest launched Season 2 of World Sky League, a Sky Strife esports league. But that’s not all. Dark Forest is also returning, as DF Archon announced pre-registration for Pinkship, a DF community round that will take place on the Redstone testnet. While I may be biased on this topic, these community events should be a ton of fun. I think (and hope) they, along with future ones in other games, have a good shot at bringing interest, excitement, and new users into the space!
