### 1\. Choose your wallet

[**Nightly**](https://nightly.app/) is preferred while [**Phantom**](https://phantom.com/) and [**Backpack**](https://backpack.app/download?shortlink=wao&c=Download_BackpackExchange&pid=Backpack%20Owned%20Site&af_xp=social&source_caller=ui) are other two good options. 2\. Claim Test Tokens To Start Your Fogo Journey
------------------------------------------------

*   Go to [**Faucet**](https://faucet.fogo.io/)
    
*   Paste **Fogo/Solana** wallet address
    
*   Click **Request Tokens  
      
    Where to check claimed Test Tokens?**
    
*   Go to [**Fogoscan**](https://fogoscan.com/)
    
*   Enter your **Solana/Fogo** wallet address
    
*   Click **enter**
    
*   On the next page, scroll down a bit and click **Portfolio**

4\. Important Notes
-------------------

*   **Difference between FOGO (native) and Fogo SPL Token?  
    FOGO(native):** mainly used for transaction fees on the blockchain. Usually, you won’t need it unless you’re a developer or bridging funds to Fogo Chain.  
    **FOGO SPL Token:** is used with Fogo sessions and DeFi across Web3.
    
*   Fogo and Solana wallet addresses are same, since Fogo is building on SVM (Solana Virtual Machine) Network
