On Tuesday, Dec 10, the 2025 Data License Auction concluded successfully. There was a single bidder, WeatherXM AG (Zug, Switzerland), who entered the auction with the minimum bid of 100,000 $WXM. After the auction, the bidder transferred the amount to the Association's Revenue wallet (tx: 0x190709c48b0cfc60cfd92ac74beb9af8cbbc3a9b39b6e73872c6697d407f6fe4). As a result, WeatherXM AG is the only entity allowed to use the Network's data commercially, during 2025. The next auction will be held in November 2025.
