# Continuing DAO Support for $WXM

As outlined in our [tokenomics](https://weatherxm.network/docs/wxm-token.html), the DAO is designed to actively support the token’s long-term value through systematic buybacks funded by protocol revenue.

#### What We’ve Done So Far

*   **DAO Buyback Program**: Completed a 30-day cycle, purchasing a significant 262,092 $WXM. A new cycle is now ongoing (21,334 $WXM purchased so far).
    
*   **Company Investment Program**: Executed multiple OTC purchases , including two completed rounds (231.148 $WXM) and an ongoing allocation of 223,957 $WXM.

Our token model is built for sustainability: 55 million $WXM will be distributed as rewards over a ~10-year period. To support that horizon, the DAO regularly converts revenue into token buybacks — reinforcing token value and increasing long-term viability.
