Hey y’all! It’s JC
This one’s a bit different, because I’m writing it before there’s even a product.
No big idea.
No pitch deck.
No code.
Just the decision: I’m going to build something in Web3.
I don’t know exactly what it is yet, a dApp, a platform, a product but I know the space I want to build in, and I know I want to create something meaningful that lives on-chain and serves real people.
That’s where this journey starts.
And I’m going to document the whole thing, every step, every thought, every “I have no idea what I’m doing” moment.
Why? Because too often, we only hear the story once it’s polished, after the launch, the raise, the hype. But what about day zero? What about the in-between?
This blog will be the in-between.
Right now, I’m deep in:
Researching existing dApps and use cases
Exploring what’s missing in the space
Connecting with builders, users, and communities
Thinking about what I wish existed
I’ve got a few threads pulling at me, stuff around onboarding, ticketing, ownership, user identity, and tools that bring the next wave into Web3 without friction.
But nothing is locked in yet.
Still, I’m showing up.
Not because I’ve got it all figured out.
But because this is how you figure it out.
By writing.
By building in public.
By sharing your thoughts and connecting with others who might be thinking the same thing or the opposite.
So if you’re reading this and you’ve ever wanted to build something in Web3 but felt like you needed to “be ready” first this is your permission slip.
You don’t. Just start.
I don’t know where this leads.
But I’m committed to the process.
This blog will be my logbook, and I’ll be capturing this journey on camera too, showing what it really looks like to try and build something from scratch in a space that’s still figuring itself out.
Wrap-Up
This is Day Zero.
If you’re building, dreaming, or just curious, thanks for being here. Let’s see where this goes.
