Let’s talk Web3 and why most people get it twisted.
To a lot of outsiders, Web3 looks like a hype machine. Tokens pumping, influencers shouting, rugs flying. And yeah, there’s noise. But that’s not the point.
Web3 isn’t just about price action. It’s about ownership.
It’s about the freedom to earn, hold, spend, and share without needing anyone’s permission.
No matter where you’re from, who you are, or what your background is, you should have access. That’s what this space is actually building. Most people just never look past the charts.
Web3 takes work. Learning to use a wallet. Understanding how protocols run. Getting your head around self-custody and decentralisation, it’s not instant.
That’s why a lot of people bail. They come for the money and bounce when it gets quiet. But if you stay long enough to understand, you start seeing the bigger picture.
Web3 isn’t a shortcut. It’s a skillset.
Crypto moves fast but speed isn’t the goal.
What matters is sovereignty.
Owning your assets.
Controlling your data.
Connecting directly with others without the middlemen.
That’s where the real value sits. And that’s what most people miss.
They chase pumps, ignore the fundamentals, and never stop to ask why this space even exists.
I won’t lie, we’re still very early. Most people don’t use wallets. Most apps are still Web2 under the hood. And a lot of folks still think “crypto” means “get rich quick" or "scam”.
But we’re inching closer.
Bit by bit.
More tools, better access, deeper understanding.
And I believe if we keep showing up to build, learn and connect the future gets clearer.
Web3 isn’t just a moment. It’s a movement.
Not everyone sees it yet.
But if you do, you’re already ahead of the game.
