From now on teams can lock single tokens with CryptEx Locker for a customized duration. The tokens are placed into a smart contract and only accessible to withdraw after the vesting period has passed.

How does it work

The architecture is based on mutually isolated fault-tolerant systems, where each lock is isolated from another one, thus preventing any mutual influence. This resembles virtual machines or sandboxes running on a computer: whatever happens inside the smart contract doesn’t affect any other locks.

What is a satellite contract?

The whole system is dependable because for every lock a separate satellite contract is created. There is no possibility that an accidental mistake in calculations, balancing, or any issue with the locked tokens, might cause a malfunction or transfer of the tokens from one user to another.

Auto-yield support

Each single token lock has a satellite-contract, that allows auto-yield.

If the project rewards its token holders, the satellite contract keeps receiving transaction rewards, even after the token is unlocked. Furthermore, the holder will receive what they locked, as well as what the project transferred to them as a result of auto-yield.
