# Web3 Product Watch By [Wonder Woman Code](https://paragraph.com/@wonder-woman-code) · 2022-05-13 --- Recently I decided to make my way through the RabbitHole skills to test out the platform and while contemplating what to write about to satisfy a requirement I saw a tweet by David Phelps. [https://twitter.com/divine\_economy/status/1523390778428764161?s=20&t=twx3D\_VzaGCtqlktZ4aZew](https://twitter.com/divine_economy/status/1523390778428764161?s=20&t=twx3D_VzaGCtqlktZ4aZew) I instantly thought of a couple of examples and I was sure I could think of more but drew a blank. I knew the people I was interacting with daily were indeed building stuff but why couldn’t think of more. I asked around and always it came down to exactly how you define the parameters. So here is what I came up with: 1. CAN’T be web3 geared solutions for only web3 problems such as wallets, blockchain explorers, etc. 2. It CAN be products that help integrate web3 into non-web3 technologies. 3. It CAN’T be products that connect web3 to other web3 such as bridges 4. It has to be actually working in some form and not just a whitepaper and a token issued with no work to show or utility to be had (even if the team is working on it). 5. CAN’T be a Ponzi scheme 6. Must be a product with end-users in mind and open for anyone to use. 7. Product-market fit is measured by whether it is getting used at all because we’re early and because it’s really a subjective definition but abandoned projects who are no longer seeing any action are out. I gathered the rest of the suggestions from the comments on the original tweet and then went to work trying to find more. First stop DappRadar, great resource if you haven’t seen it already. I ultimately decided to organize the list by industry and there are many more than the ones listed on DappRadar. This list is not exhaustive but I did make a serious effort to track down as many as I possibly could within a short time frame and in the process introduced and re-introduced myself to products I’m likely to use myself in the future. I sincerely hope you’ll find some new products here too. Please feel free to contact me if I missed something because I will be adding to this in the future and writing features on some of my favorites. Art --- Some people have argued that NFT marketplaces are web3 for web3. My response to that is that they are a key part of empowering artists to monetize their art through blockchain technology and provide necessary off-ramps for collectors. In order to accomplish that a marketplace has to be able to provide an interface for the creation of an NFT and a way for the artist to sell their newly minted NFT immediately. I am purposefully leaving out curated marketplaces, think ArtBlocks or DraftKings, because they’re not open for anyone to use. I put them under the “Art” category because that has been their target market and the industry they have disrupted most. Cloud computing changed the way applications were engineered and more importantly ushered in an age of lean start-ups that could get off the ground without the expensive investments in hardware needed to otherwise scale. Arguably this is a product fit for devs which I said I wasn’t going to include but cloud computing was and is for people who work outside of the web3 development community. They work in the sciences, music, video streaming, filmmaking, and many other industries that simply require massive and otherwise very expensive machine time.
