As one of its first actions as the owner of Converse, Ephemera open sourced the application layer code. In the announcement, Ephemera CEO Shane Mac stated:This isn’t a move about acquiring Converse; it’s about building trust with the best developers in the world and aligning XMTP with the values of the entire crypto community. The move makes the application layer as open as the protocol layer. The truth is that developers don’t just build on protocols; they build on apps, too.To read the full announcement, including access to the open-sourced Converse GitHub repo, visit Converse Joins Ephemera: Now Open-Sourced for All on the XMTP Network. ## Publication Information - [XMTP Community](https://paragraph.com/@xmtp_community/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@xmtp_community/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@xmtp_community): Subscribe to updates - [Twitter](https://twitter.com/xmtp_): Follow on Twitter ## Optional - [Collect as NFT](https://paragraph.com/@xmtp_community/converse): Support the author by collecting this post - [View Collectors](https://paragraph.com/@xmtp_community/converse/collectors): See who has collected this post
