# The Van Tilburg Collection

**The Van Tilburg Collection** is an art collection at the University of Pretoria that comprises 17th and 18th century furniture, paintings, [Delft](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delft) [ceramics](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceramics_\(art\)) and other works of art, and includes the largest [South African](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Africa) collection of Chinese [ceramic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceramic) objects.
