# Treasure Chest is here!

Last week, we launched Treasure Chests as a surprise reward game for loyal depositors. Season 1 runs until September 30 at 15:00 UTC, so don’t miss out!

**How It Works**
----------------

Make new deposits into YO and earn keys. You can earn up to 15 keys during Season 1. Each key unlocks a chest with a random multiplier between 0.1× and 100× your average daily points. Chests can be opened one by one or all at once if you’ve collected all 15.

**_Note:_** _Keys can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 10 minutes to appear in the app after completing a deposit. If the Treasure Chest link redirects you back to the YO app, you’re not eligible._

### **General**

**Q: When does Treasure Chest Season 1 end?**

A: Treasure Chest Season 1 ends on September 30th at 15:00 UTC.

**Q: Why can’t I see any chests or keys in the app?**

A: Treasure Chest is available to all users who held any amount of yoTokens prior to September 18th at 15:00 UTC. If you did not hold yoTokens before this date, the feature will not appear.

### **Eligibility & Qualification**

**Q: Do I need to make a new deposit to qualify, or do existing deposits count?**

A: Existing deposits qualify for eligibility, but to earn new keys, you must make new deposits into YO.

**Q: Are DeFi activities (Morpho, Euler, Pendle, Mitosis, etc.) eligible for keys?**

A: No. For Season 1, DeFi activities are not eligible. This design protects the points program from dilution.

**Q: Isn’t this unfair to users who supported YO through DeFi activities?**

A: DeFi activities remain more rewarding than Treasure Chest. DeFi activities still provide a higher points multiplier than Treasure Chests.

For example, even if you opened all 15 chests, the expected value would only be about a 3× multiplier on one day’s points. DeFi activities can deliver much higher multipliers.

**Q: What does “must hold for 30 days” mean?**

A: If you withdraw your assets within 30 days of earning keys, you will forfeit all points earned from Treasure Chests.

### **Keys & Chests**

**Q: How do I earn keys, and how many can I get?**

A: Keys are earned by making new deposits into YO. You can earn up to 15 keys total during Season 1.

**Q: Do keys refresh daily?**

A: No. There is a maximum of 15 keys available per user for the entire season.

**Q: If I open all 15 chests today, can I earn more keys tomorrow?**

A: No. Once you’ve opened 15 chests, you cannot earn more keys for Season 1.

**Q: Can chests be opened all at once?**

A: Yes, if you have earned all 15 keys.

**Q: Do chests multiply points for that day only, or retroactively?**

A: Chest multipliers apply to your average daily points from the past 7 days. Only points from plain deposits count toward this average.

### **Technical & Support**

**Q: The Treasure Chest link just redirects me to the YO app. Is that normal?**

A: Yes. This usually means you are not eligible for Treasure Chest (see eligibility rules above). If you think you qualify for Treasure Chest and are still being redirected, please contact support.

**Q: I qualify, but my keys haven’t appeared. What should I do?**

A: Keys typically take 10 minutes to show up in your app. If you’ve qualified and waited, please reach out to support.

**Q: I completed the tasks, but didn't see the keys. Is there a delay?**

A: Keys can take up to 10 minutes to appear. If they still don’t show after that, please contact support.
