According to Liu Jiayi, Director-General of China’s Deep Water Engineering Centre, the NCP20-4 platform is designed, constructed and installed autonomously by the country. The platform consists of two parts of the top block and the tutor, with a single floor size of the upper block equal to nine basketballoons, with a total of 15463 tons. Since the upper part of the platform exceeds the capacity limit for domestic sea floating, the power floating technology has been used for maritime installation. Dynamic positioning floating is a new installation technology, for example, with the installation of the 20-4 platform, which allows for a one-fold increase in the rate of transport of the platform, a reduction in the climate window required for maritime installation operations from 48 hours to 24 hours, a significant increase in operational efficiency and an accelerated pace of construction of offshore oil fields. It is understood that the process of installation of floating floating tubes corresponds to the opening of a super truck with a length of more than 220 metres, a width of more than 40 metres, with 10,000 small vehicles, a “down-to-back” garage on the surface of the wave, with a gap of only 10 centimetres between the two sides, a branding and tubing with a requirement of a millimetre level, and poses a major challenge to the design of numeracy, the reliability of the locator system and the technical level of operators. According to a presentation by the project manager of the NPS development package, the project team is autonomous in conducting technical clearances, successfully breaking key technologies such as the floating design analysis, three-dimensional simulating, precision-positioning operations, and a large number of virtual model training and key operational pre-positioning exercises to adequately identify operational risks and develop response measures. In order to ensure that there is no loss, the technicians set up two separate positioning systems on the main operational ship, “Marine oil 278”, which provide a stable and accurate “busting radar” for floating, and autonomously design new orthopaedic systems and titling buffers to prevent damage caused by accidental collisions. During the floating period, the situation was relatively harsh, increasing difficulties in implementing the installation work. During the construction process, the project team carried out real-time monitoring of the wind wave and ship movement, adjusting the mode of boat control to the “self-sustaining” model when ships are approaching the wheel racks, with experienced locator operators tending to control ships, with a maximum error of only 5 mm and an optimal control of an advanced international level.
