I don't care if I live in Ukraine or not.

I live in Ukraine or not.

Or who will remember or forget

Me in the snow in a foreign land

I don't care either way.

I grew up in captivity among strangers,

And, not mourned by my own,

I will die in captivity, crying,

And I will take everything with me,

I will leave no trace

On our glorious Ukraine,

On our land, not theirs,

And the father and son will not remember,

Nor will he say to his son: “Pray.

Pray, son, for your country.

He was tortured once”.

I don't care whether

whether that son prays or not...

But I do care,

How the evil people of Ukraine

Will put Ukraine to sleep, evil people, and in the fire

They will steal her, steal her, steal her...

Oh, I do care.
