# 1st Epoch Boost is starting!

3 weeks ago, we released our [**Quests Dashboard**](https://www.zyfi.org/quests) to help you earn more points through **social tasks** and via our **partners** where our paymaster is integrated. 🌏

Introducing Epoch 1 🏆

To fairly distribute points over the Quest Dashboard's lifetime, we've structured it into **epochs** and **boost** mechanisms.

1 epoch = 2 weeks.

The 1st Epoch goes live today at 5 PM CET and will run for ██ epochs, with each epoch starting on **Monday** at 5 PM CET.

Point distribution varies per epoch. 👀

👉 To reward early Quest Dashboard users, **Epoch 1 features a point boost:**

*   X3 Boost on points via our Zyfi front-end
    
*   X2.5 Boost on points via our partners

What are Gas Points? ⛽️
-----------------------

In our journey towards decentralization, we implemented our own gas points program to recognize **early** and **loyal** users of our paymaster.

🧮 Our calculations are quite simple:

**The more gas you spend through our paymaster, the more gas points you earn. As example: 0.00025 ETH = 100 Gas Points (multipliers may apply)**

Since the gas amount is independent of transaction volume, we can allocate gas points to those who **regularly use our services**, rather than to those who make a one-time swap on our front-end and never return.

In a nutshell, these gas points are here to reward real users who use our services.
