DeFi has a modest $100,000,000,000 worth of value locked into it. Nonetheless, relative to its objectives and core functionalities — it is a pain in the a*s to use. The broad range of different yield-bearing pools, protocols & assets makes sure you, as a user, never earn as much yield on your assets as you could — and if you do want to earn more yields or re-organize your portfolio— you either need to spend lots of manual time doing so (Often on a DAILY BASIS, or even an INTRA DAILY BASIS), or, you would have to settle for a lower yield, often riskier alternative.

Yield strategies can be as simple or as complex as you want them to be, and at the end of the day they’re meant to fit your own personal needs & general strategies — some folks go with simple compounding, while other, more sophisticated DeFi users assemble highly complex & thought-out strategies.
