Arthur C. Clarke once said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” History shows this to be true, and perhaps more so now than ever. In a future world of spells, incantations, and technological marvels, how will humanity survive?

We do not yet have a definitive answer. But we can approach the problem as we do any other: from first principles. If we fail to evolve and adapt, we may perish, whether from misaligned intelligence, human greed, or reckless exploration.

To prepare for this transition, we argue that the best approach is to mirror our current environment. That is, whatever has served humanity and the universe should persist.

What We Should Do

Principles like these can form the foundation for a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), where individuals act collectively for the betterment of intelligent life. This DAO could evolve into a Decentralized Church, but with broader ambitions:

1. Blockchain as Base Reality – Code is law, immutable as mathematics.

2. DAO Governance – Organizes individuals around a shared goal and executes agreed-upon actions.

3. Web3 Infrastructure – Enables global interaction, computation, and hosting.

4. Tokenomics – Recognizes competition as a natural force and incentivizes meaningful contribution.

5. Bounties and Grants – Directs resources efficiently toward projects that benefit the collective.

6. Auto-Translation – Creates a global chat space for real-time collaboration.

This is just a foundation. Governance will be complex, perhaps starting as an effort-based meritocracy with a universal good mechanism once abundance is realized. As more individuals participate, benefits compound, creating a self-sustaining cycle of growth and contribution.

What Will We Really Be?

We are not merely a Decentralized Church. We are a Decentralized Corporation dedicated to the benefit of intelligent beings. In a world increasingly devoid of inherent meaning, this organization provides purpose: alignment to a reasoned, collective vision of the future.

Here, “afterlife” is more than metaphorical, and it becomes conceivable through the magic of technology. For clarity, this framework does not diminish existing religions; freedom of thought allows belief in any path. There is also profound beauty in finality, an aspect of existence we may one day understand.
