Concepts such as decentralization, trustless environments, and smart contracts sounded powerful, but also distant from everyday applications. While it was easy to understand the theory, but much harder to see how these systems could realistically support large-scale, real-world interactions.

Now I can see, that the part that seems so "difficult" wasn´t just the complexity of the technology, but also the uncertainty of something new. Like many emerging technologies, blockchain can feel intimidating at first. The fear of asking questions or the natural hesitation when something change the system we are already familiar with.

However, during my Disruptive Technologies class with Professor Saswat, something in my mind click. As looking at the basic of blockchain and how it has being evolving, the concept became clearer. But the most important moment was that in class we actually created our own wallet. That experience turned blockchain from a distant idea into something tangible. It allowed me to see how it actually works and how it actually works and how it can be used in practice, bringing the gap between the concept and the application.

However, understanding how blockchain works also made me more aware of its limitations.

As I explored Ethereum further, I realized that even though it is a powerful platform, it still faces important challenges. High transaction costs and slow processing times make it difficult to use for applications that require constant interaction. At that point, the question shifted from "what blockchain is?" to "how it can actually function in real-world conditions?"

This is where solutions like Arbitrum begin to make sense.

Arbitrum is a Layer 2 solution built on top of Ethereum that improves its efficiency. This makes everything much faster, because it executes every process off-chain and then submits a compressed summary back to Ethereum. So in this escenario the main network just has to process the summary that Arbitrum gives them instead of the whole transaction. Reducing cost and increasing the speed while maintaining the most important factor security.

Arbitrum becomes particularly relevant because it enables use cases that would otherwise be impractical. Applications such as trading platforms, online marketplaces, and gaming environments depend on fast and low-cost interactions to function properly. Without these conditions, they cannot scale efficiently. By reducing costs and increasing speed, Arbitrum makes these systems not only possible, but sustainable in real-world environments.

From my perspective, this is the point where blockchain begins to lose its abstract nature. It is no longer just about understanding the technology, but about recognizing what it allows us to build. Arbitrum represents that transition from theory to application, showing that innovation is not only about creating new systems, but about making them usable under real conditions.

Alondra Mora

My name is Alondra Mora, and I have a background in law with experience working alongside corporations. Through my academic and professional journey, I have developed a strong understanding of legal frameworks and how they interact with business environments.

I am particularly interested in the intersection between law, business strategy, and organizational development, where structured thinking and compliance play a key role in decision-making. My experience has allowed me to approach challenges with a critical and analytical mindset, while also understanding the importance of adaptability in dynamic environments.

I am motivated by opportunities that involve problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous learning, especially in contexts where legal and business perspectives come together to create value.

Arantza de Jesus

My name is Arantza de Jesús, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Management. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UTEP in 2025. During my undergraduate studies, I gained valuable professional experience through opportunities in law firms and government institutions, which helped shape my career development.

My growth has continued throughout my graduate studies. As part of my Master’s program at EGADE Business School, I am currently completing an internship with Hallow Energy, where I am applying the knowledge and skills I am developing in the classroom.

After graduation, I plan to build experience in the business sector while preparing to attend law school, where I intend to specialize in corporate and immigration law.

Andrea Acevedo

My name is Andrea Acevedo, and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Business Management at EGADE Business School, where I have strengthened my knowledge of strategy, finance, and innovation to better understand how organizations function.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Strategy from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I developed a solid foundation in analysis and decision-making.

Throughout my career, I have participated in projects with companies such as Sigma, Frisa, and Caffenio, focused on identifying opportunities and proposing practical solutions.

I have primarily focused on logistics and process optimization, especially in product distribution and export. At Frisa, I collaborated on the development of an inventory control app, and at Caffenio, I worked on ideas to increase sales through sustainable and attractive products during key seasons.

I am currently an intern at Arzys, where I continue to develop my skills in process analysis and improvement within operations.

I consider myself an analytical, proactive, and problem-solving person, with an interest in generating value through strategy and innovation.

Paula E. Artigas

My name is Paula E Gutiérrez, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree while building a strong foundation in business and strategic thinking. I studied a Bachelor’s in Administration, Strategy, and Business Transformation, where I developed a deep understanding of how organizations evolve and create value. Over the past few years, I have gained professional experience working in companies such as Driver 1 and Casa Gutza, and I am currently completing my master’s internship at URREA. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have been especially drawn to marketing and project coordination, as I enjoy combining creativity with structure to drive impactful results. I am passionate about working on initiatives that involve strategy, innovation, and people, particularly in areas where I can contribute to building strong brands and improving organizational processes. I consider myself a proactive and analytical person, always eager to learn, take initiative, and continue growing both personally and professionally.

Anthony Aguilar

I am Anthony Aguilar, a Music Technology and Production graduate from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I earned honors for academic excellence and the highest GPA in my program. I specialize in live audio and advanced music production, with hands-on experience in Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and professional audio systems.

Over the past few years I have worked across some of the most prominent live music events in Mexico, including Festival Pal Norte, Callejero Fest, 7Eleven Fest, and concerts by artists such as Jesse & Joy, Rauw Alejandro, DLD, and Molotov. My roles have ranged from audio technician and stage crew to logistics coordinator and, most recently, logistics area leader for Festival Pal Norte 2025, where I managed staff, vendors, and production timelines across five days of operations. I also led the full production of 7Eleven Fest, handling artist bookings, supplier negotiations, and sponsorship outreach from start to finish.

I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and I bring strong skills in leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master's in Business Management to apply it in the music industry.

Paul Cordier
I am a young professional focused on business strategy, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. I am currently finishing my Master’s in Business Management (MBM) at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey, where everything has truly started to make sense. I have immersed myself in Generative AI and Business Applications, AI-Driven Business Workflows, and Agentic AI Workflows—areas that are reshaping how we work. I had the opportunity to participate in a Silicon Valley Immersion, attending masterclasses on startups, venture capital, and disruption, and visiting companies such as Google and Capgemini to experience firsthand how innovation really operates.

Before that, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Business Strategy and Transformation at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I specialized in change management in complex environments and strategic thinking. During those years, I participated in academic consulting projects with companies such as AMD, Frisa, TecSalud Zambrano, and PROLAMSA, where I developed skills in strategic analysis and cultural transformation.

I also have real professional experience in sales, marketing, and administration, which gives me a practical perspective on how organizations truly operate. What sets me apart is my ability to combine a strong foundation in business strategy with competencies in AI. I am bilingual (Spanish and English) and enjoy tackling complex problems from multiple angles.

This is our first time using Paragraph and creating a wallet, and we are excited to begin this journey.
