The original text's details are not rigorously substantiated, with many lacking sufficient evidence and data, so there's no need to dwell on many practical specifics. However, this doesn't mean that because the details are flawed, the entire narrative or "big picture" is incorrect; quite the contrary, I believe the "big picture" part of this narrative is highly valuable and possesses a certain logical coherence in its inferred trajectory.

1. Narrative Perspective

From the perspective of financial industry bubbles, I indeed believe the current state of the entire Crypto market is similar to "2003 during the 2008 financial crisis." For anyone who has seen The Big Short, there was coincidentally a conference on the West Coast where the prevailing narratives of the time included "eternal bull market" and "eternal deferment of capitalism."

Similarly, we are seeing the recent emergence of voices suggesting "Crypto is behaving like US stocks," and narratives such as "the four-year cycle is invalid" and "eternal Crypto bull market" will undoubtedly amplify (as Bitcoin cycles become more numerous, these voices grow stronger with each cycle). Such narratives undoubtedly form the fertile ground for a super-bubble. It's crucial to remember that "narrative is a superpower," much like how stories shaped human education in the early Stone Age, preserving knowledge and heritage, ultimately shaping technology and society.

2. Monetary Perspective

USDT and USDC are currently anchored by Bitcoin and U.S. Treasury bonds. As the overall scale of U.S. Treasury bonds continues to grow, the risk associated with U.S. Treasury bonds is steadily increasing. The "issue stablecoins - buy U.S. Treasury bonds/BTC - issue stablecoins" loop described in the original text is something I anticipated in 2023, which is why BTC is bound to rise, including in the next four-year cycle. The critical point of danger lies in U.S. Treasury bonds.

Conversely, if the U.S. debt problem can be resolved—that is, if the long-term competitiveness of the U.S. dollar can be sustained by developments in industries like AI, 3D printing, and Crypto mass adoption, thereby enhancing economic competitiveness—then U.S. Treasury bonds will find support, and the short-to-medium term U.S. debt problem can be partially addressed (continuing to defer it as a long-term issue).

In the long run, this will involve deeper economic models. U.S. debt will inevitably face problems in the long term because U.S. debt and the U.S. dollar represent globalization, not just one country, yet they are borne by one country (in a bad scenario) or profit-captured by one country (in a good scenario). Therefore, stablecoins, Real-World Assets (RWA), and the crypto-ization of the global economy are inevitable trends, as is the crypto-ization of the U.S. dollar (i.e., planetary-ization, breaking free from the constraints of a "single nation"). The concept of a "planetary onchain economy" represents a new systemic shift, where economic rights are homogeneously distributed, characterized by permissionless, fast, and verifiable interactions. This marks a fundamental transformation of the concept of a world currency since the advent of Bitcoin.

3. Financial Derivatives Perspective

Based on the trends described above, there will inevitably be a need for more derivatives, just as in the 2008 financial crisis—the emergence of ABS, REITs, CDO, and CDS is a matter of course. However, these derivatives will also face regulation from the SEC. Overall, the stablecoin wave will undoubtedly lead to a massive bubble, one that will rapidly pull real-world assets (currency derivatives, stocks, and bonds) onto the chain, bringing the global economy onchain.

Will it move too fast, creating too large a bubble that leads to collapse? Possibly. Is it collapsing now? No, it's not.

Several scenarios could emerge:

• A: Global Stablecoin Hegemony & Burst. The stablecoin wave sweeps across the globe, with the U.S. dollar formally upgrading to a planetary currency, and the Federal Reserve becoming the de facto global government. Stablecoin derivatives catalyze an enormous bubble, which bursts between 2028 and 2030, causing a global economic collapse. How? In details, we don't know how yet, but it is a trend.

• B: Regulated & Orderly Growth. During the process of creating a bubble, the stablecoin wave faces stringent SEC regulation. The development of the Crypto industry then mirrors the U.S. financial industry between 1928 and 1986, supporting the global economic development cycle in an orderly and stable manner.

• C: Bubble Rechanneled into New Economy. The stablecoin wave generates a bubble, but this bubble is channeled towards integration with AI, 3D printing, and new energy industries. The bubble is ultimately locked into a brand new "Fourth Industry" (AI+Crypto+3D printing+New Energy), and the problems of the U.S. dollar and U.S. debt become irrelevant due to the pulling effect of this new economic engine.

These scenarios are not isolated from each other; in the real world, several scenarios generally occur simultaneously in the mid-to-early stages, then "collapse" after a certain "turning point" (or Inflection Point), accelerating at an extremely fast pace into the end-game of a single scenario.

Many KOLs on Crypto Twitter have dubbed this ConsensusHK the "least consensus-y" Consensus ever. Perhaps it's because the Ethereum ecosystem was in the minority at this conference, or maybe I somehow found my cozy corner. Driven by my interest in the development of Base and Superchain, and the anticipation of making new friends, I meticulously customized my itinerary. As a result, this trip to Hong Kong reconnected me with a long-lost vibrancy and deep connections with others.

I. 🔵Base: The Chinese Enthusiasm and Energy of Builders

• Base Builder House

  For this recap, I'll skip the deep dive on Base Builder House and just share some awesome personal experiences. I'll save the full, official Base Builder House recap for another post.

• I'm truly honored and proud to be one of the supporters of Base Builder House. Base Builder House was a co-living and co-building event for Chinese developers and future builders of the Base ecosystem, fully driven by builder communities, and sponsored by Jojo Exchange, DeAgentAI, and Tako, with community support from 706Creators, GCC, etc. The event took place in Shanghai and Shenzhen, lasting one week in each city, and attracted over 100 Chinese-speaking builders to co-build on Base.

  

• Base Builder House proved to be full of surprises. I unexpectedly ran into Arvin, a familiar fam from the BanklessDAO community, though we'd never actually met in person. Even more serendipitous, Arvin was collaborating with Dasong, a new friend of mine. I was particularly grateful for Dasong's insightful feedback as a reviewer of my recent work in Onchainomics - Farcaster 2026: A Planetary Onchain Economy, his detailed annotations and our discussions on the onchain economy incredibly enlightening. Along with @Twone, they formed an incredible trio and even won 2nd place at the Consensus Hackathon! Amazing!!!

  This event witnessed the birth of many promising projects on Base. From these projects, we can see some new trends and opportunities: the applications of AI Agents, real world impact, even Depin (yes I know this might not be a case in Base ecosystem traditionally, but here we have some real deal Depin projects are considering migrate to Base !!) in the Base ecosystem are gradually maturing; games and social projects are starting to experiment with integrating with the characteristics of the Base chain to create new user experiences; and some applications in traditional industries are also beginning to explore the possibilities of integrating with Base.

II. Base Meetup HK

I joined a panel discussion with @Julie, @Joezhou, @Affe, @Arvin, @Twone and @BigSong to share why we build on Base. What excited me even more was that I also invited friends I met at the Base Builder Houses in Shenzhen and Shanghai to join this gathering. This not only provided a more direct opportunity for Base community members from different regions to interact, but also demonstrated the thriving development of the Base ecosystem across Asia.

III. Superchain's Asia Trip: Insights from Soneium

• Superchain Asia Gathering

  • At the Superchain Asia Gathering event, I had the opportunity to learn more about the Soneium project. Soneium is dedicated to connecting East Asian ACG IP and plans to build an L3 chain based on the OP Stack.

    

    I had a in-depth discussions with Ronak, Tatsu from Soneium, and Kaimin from SONX, exploring Soneium's positioning within the Superchain ecosystem, specifically asked whether Soneium would build its own sequencer and its potential for innovation with different various I.P.s with all the east asian fandom economy.

    This event also gave me the chance to connect with Rose from Mint Blockchain, who is exploring the idea of a Superchain Podcast. This is a fantastic concept, and I believe this podcast could potentially become an important channel for connecting Superchain ecosystem builders and spreading the Superchain philosophy in APAC market, should it come to fruition.

    

IV. ConsensusHK main stage: The Web3 Path for Finance

While at the main stage of ConsensusHK, I connected with Sam Liu, a Web3 entrepreneur with a TradFi background, similar to my experiences. We explored the potential of merging the gold market with DeFi and discussed the possibility of an AMA project centered on this topic. Our conversation also led to the observation that Zan's business model more closely resembles investment banking than Fintech/SaaS. This raises the question: can Web3 technology enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in traditional financial markets? It's certainly an area deserving long-term consideration.

V. AI Agents and Quantitative Trading: A New Paradigm for Web3 Investment

I also had exchanges with @Will and 0xHarryWeb3, two veteran investors from China who shared valuable experience on investment philosophies and trading techniques.

I was particularly interested in their mention of the application of AI Agents in quantitative trading and investment. AI Agents can learn from vast amounts of market data and trading strategies, automatically execute trades, and continuously optimize their performance. This will undoubtedly bring new opportunities and changes to the Web3 investment and trading field.

VI. An Unexpected Surprise: Token of Love Music Festival

I want to give a special thanks to @Julie from Tako and @tak_shire（Such amazing energy and a vibrant personality, really love her vibe! ）from 706Labs for giving me the opportunity to join this amazing music festival!! I didn't realize there would be EDM, or KSHMR, when I originally signed up! As a big fan of EDM, being able to experience KSHMR remix live was a huge surprise for me, and not only musical enjoyment, but also an emotional release. I've suppressed so many emotions during the three years of the pandemic, I didn't went to any music festival since 2019, felt a long-lost sense of freedom, enthusiasm, and love again. This further strengthened my belief that Web3, Crypto, or onchain, whatever you call it, is not just about technological and financial win, but also about exploring connections and emotional resonance between real people.

Conclusion

My trip to ConsensusHK was incredibly rewarding, gained a deeper understanding for the Base and Superchain's dynamic, made many like-minded friends, and a surprisingly brillian, out of plan music festival. I believe that with the joint efforts of numerous builders, creators, and pioneers, the future of the new internet will be even brighter. I also look forward to sharing my observations and thoughts from this trip with more people, onchain& offchain, with real people, real connections, and real emotions and love.

1. Blockchain Technology Development Phase (1970s - 2013)

This phase marks the theoretical inception and nascent practical application of blockchain technology. Its core characteristics lie in the continuous evolution of distributed ledger technology, enabling decentralized data storage. Simultaneously, the rapid iteration of cryptographic theories and applications laid the groundwork for information security and transaction validation. Decentralized consensus mechanisms gradually materialized during this period, providing a path for constructing trustless networks without traditional intermediaries.

A key breakthrough in this phase was the successful resolution of the persistent "double-spending problem" in the digital currency realm, achieving the first verifiable transfer of digital value and thus laying the foundation for the subsequent birth of cryptocurrencies and broader onchain applications.

2. Cryptocurrency Phase (2014 - 2017)

With the demonstrative effect of Bitcoin and the rise of Ethereum, the blockchain industry entered a rapid development phase centered around cryptocurrencies. A prominent characteristic of this period was the proliferation of cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin, which greatly diversified digital asset types and application scopes. The expansion of smart contract technology made programmable, self-executing onchain protocols a reality, significantly broadening the blockchain's application frontier. The cryptocurrency economic system began to show its prowess in this phase, revealing its inherent incentive mechanisms and potential for value circulation.

The core breakthroughs of this phase were the widespread adoption of smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps), alongside the flourishing development of centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. This maturation of infrastructure significantly enhanced digital asset liquidity and market accessibility. During this period, the role of asymmetric information in the market also gradually became a significant subject of microeconomic research.

3. Web3.0 Phase (2018 - 2025)

The Web3.0 phase represents a profound expansion and paradigm upgrade of the blockchain application ecosystem. The decentralized application ecosystem fully materialized during this period, with Decentralized Finance (DeFi) emerging as a focal point. DeFi enabled traditional financial derivatives such as staking, lending, swapping, options, and perpetual contracts to develop in a decentralized manner onchain. Concepts such as digital ownership, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), and Decentralized Identity (DID) flourished onchain, providing fertile ground for the nascent micro onchain economic ecosystem. The rise of DAOs was particularly significant, as they revolutionized the paradigm of cross-geographical human collaboration and, for the first time in human history, possessed a truly cross-border, autonomous means of production. The significant growth in onchain economic activity during this period heralded the advent of a new wave of globalization.

4. Global Onchain Economy Phase (2026 - 2033)

Currently, blockchain technology is rapidly advancing into the Global Onchain Economy phase, signifying the profound integration of the onchain world with the macroeconomy. A key characteristic of this phase is the deep involvement of traditional financial capital. Stablecoins, recognized as a "killer application," along with mechanisms like Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization, have injected substantial traditional financial power into the crypto-economy, fostering a profound symbiotic integration of onchain and offchain worlds. This enables the value from traditional physical economies to be efficiently captured and circulated onchain, providing DeFi and other onchain protocols with a more robust asset foundation and broader application scenarios.

Furthermore, as global onchain adoption rates have significantly increased, global regulatory frameworks across various jurisdictions are gradually forming and materializing, providing the necessary framework for widespread adoption. The core breakthroughs of this phase include the large-scale adoption of onchain solutions by the global economy, the flourishing development of onchain native economies, and the ultimate formation of the onchain and offchain symbiotic integration trend.

More profoundly, the deep integration of Artificial Intelligence Agents (AI Agents) and blockchain is driving the construction of a "Planetary Economy," aiming to achieve homogeneous provision and access to services for any entity, at any time, in any location. This foreshadows humanity's entry into a new era of "Cybereality" transcending the traditional dichotomy of virtual and real.

Additionally, this has catalyzed interdisciplinary research, exemplified by "Onchainomics," which is dedicated to understanding onchain economic activities and their profound impact on the global economy, with a particular focus on the hybrid interactions between onchain and offchain environments.

At @leaponchain and the Onchain Economics Research Institute, we contend that the onchain economy can be regarded as forming the "4th Industry" of the future global economy, alongside sectors such as narrow AI, 3D printing, and new energy. Its objective is to establish a globalized, platform-agnostic, thoroughly abstract, and intangible industry ultimately capable of directly orchestrating the allocation of resources within planetary-scale physical industries, thereby laying a solid foundation in production relations for humanity's advancement towards an interstellar civilization phase.

How can Farcaster grow significantly without losing its soul? If you ask me I would say by creating a new, onchain-native society, evolving into a brand new planetary onchain economy, turning the tables completely.

I've always believed that the onchain economy, combined with onchain social networks and the broader blockchain ecosystem, is forging a decentralised society. I previously explored this in my essay for the first time in "Onchainomics #2: Bridging Onchainomics with decentralised Social – A Social Platform, or an Emerging Re-globalisation Society?" In that essay, I argued that the Farcaster ecosystem represents a trend towards an emerging re-globalised society.

So, how can Farcaster, and broader collaborations like those with the Base ecosystem, integrate and expand while maintaining their inherent decentralised nature?

In this article, through brainstorming and a quick A/B comparison between a traditional society and a decentralised society, we'll explore their key differences. I used a similar analytical framework in Onchainomics #2 for onchain demand analysis, but don't worry – I'll strive to use clear and accessible language for a wider audience this time.

What is a Society?

Instead of relying on textbook definitions, let's define society in a more open and self-consistent way. I'll use a brainstorming-based, categorical approach:

When we discuss society, many topics emerge. If we examine these closely, it's surprisingly similar to designing a SimCity-like game. Various categories need to be considered, but on a much broader scale – national, international, and even global.

So, what are the key elements that allow a society to function? A government, laws, law enforcement, social networks, infrastructure, healthcare, medicine, education, postal services, businesses, currency, leisure activities, culture... It's impossible to create a truly exhaustive list using this categorical approach, but we now have a rough outline, which we can visualise as a bubble:

Why Decentralised Society?

GenZ grew up during a period of intense globalisation. I recall, in my childhood computer classes, the pervasive idea that "the world is a village." I chatted on Omegle, making friends from Finland and France. I genuinely believed then that the world would one day be united and interconnected, and I was convinced this would happen within my lifetime.

However, the world is changing rapidly. The trend of de-globalisation is underway; the world is no longer the one we knew between the 1980s and the 2010s. Whether history is repeating itself or progressing by repeating with slight variations, few can deny that the world's pace of change has accelerated since 2018.

In this era of re-globalisation, shadowed by tariffs and various forms of conflict – trade wars, financial wars, currency wars, and devastating hot wars – our planet needs a new system. A system where jobs, people, ideas, and connections can flow freely, without borders or permission.

Consider RedNote as an example: TikTok faces potential bans, and some Americans are turning to RedNote — a Chinese social app where people share daily pictures, GIFs, and videos of their lives. This has led to a phenomenon dubbed "US 'TikTok refugees'". As a result, people are realising that we are not so different.

People on this planet are yearning and striving for connection.

We want that kind of freedom and openness in our lives.

The Global Hyper-macroeconomics Crisis

There are countless shreds of evidence that can prove we’re in an early stage of something different age and times from before.

Specifically speaking, the crisis I’m referring to is a hyper-macroeconomics, global, fundamental-level crisis. We’re in the early stages of the version of cybernetics society, the theoretical preparation for this cyberpunk future is all set and ready for launch. From the 1980s the loose tightening of investment banking business and financial opening has dramatically increased the development pace of the internet industry and cybernetic technologies.

This stage could be seen as the completion of a world experiment done by the cybernetic, all theories, experiments, technologies and social structures are ready to evolve from a modern industry society to a post-capitalism cyberpunk atomic society.

To clarify, I’m not talking about conspiracy here, this stage of how cybernetics evolved with technological advancement is spontaneous, even mechanical towards the purpose set by itself.

Atomical is in the blood of this post-capitalism cyberpunk society.

In another word, decentralised.

Farcaster: A Decentralised Social Network

Let’s look at the current status of Farcaster, what does Farcaster already having here?

Fundamentally speaking Farcaster is already a portocol that decentralised to build on, with a strong, resillient social network that connecting builders and seed consumers, having a really close feedbacks loop. This is a good start and clean flywheel, as builders and pionner consumers can find interesting things on-frame, onchain.

Another ace of Farcaster is the creator economy, but I’d call it onchain culture machine: with motivated, inspiring and high connected communities such as Higher, creators can easily share their contents and arts right away to Farcaster with just simple few steps, all onchain in a few seconds. Onchain native creators are playing, creating, innovating new experiences and narratives onchain. With the support of creator economy, including Degen, Moxie, Clanker, Bnkr, Anon and more…

This is a non-stop builder ecosystem.

Wallet + Social is a Bold Move Towards Planetary Onchain Economy

On Feb 2025, Jesse, John and Dan announced that the Coinbase Wallet will intergrate Farcaster mini-apps in the wallet. That being said, I believe there would be more intergration, especially real world utilities and AI agent applications in the future, such as Jesse ordered a pizza by cooperating with 2 agents - Luna and Agent byte on Base.

This is a bold move shows how Coinbase, Base and Farcaster shares a higher ambition, and it's clearly their biggest move ever, second only to cbBTC.

The combination of wallets and social features actually has Web2 precedents. Intriguingly, there was a kind of mirror image development in China's Web2 market, where efforts to add social features to wallets and wallet features to social platforms happened at the same time, becoming well-known examples.

WeChat, fundamentally a social platform, has seen WeChat Pay flourish due to its massive user base and intuitive payment features, key factors in its widespread adoption. Alipay, a direct competitor, also attempted to integrate social features, but these efforts were unsuccessful. However, Alipay's diverse mini-programs have been remarkably successful, providing users with convenient payment options, identity verification, movie ticket purchases, and a range of other services.

Line provides another example, leading the "Super App" trend after 2022 and experiencing rapid growth across Southeast Asia. Numerous examples suggest that "Super Apps" could be the next global trend, particularly for applications aiming to provide comprehensive services.

Critically speaking, some might concerned about privacy issues caused by the intergration of the wallet and social app. As I commented on Kiwi News regarding "Wallets don't need social features", I don't believe the development of wallets with social features should be halted due to privacy concerns. Web2 payment solutions like PayPal, WeChat, and Alipay have achieved widespread global adoption. I'm confident that Ethereum, ZK proofs, and other decentralised protocols and technology stacks can surpass Web2 in this area. As Jesse put it this way "It is not DApps, it's just apps." Our goal should be to ensure a seamless and user-friendly, and private experience; we're not merely competing with other decentralised applications, but with all applications.

So What Make it Different?

What makes Farcaster stands out when it comes to decentralised society? Why it is not neccesary Wechat, Alipay, or Line doing this 'the next global trend'?

As I mentioned above, while Alipay's social networking initiatives may have faltered, its mini-program ecosystem has thrived, presenting a compelling parallel to the integration of Farcaster frames within Coinbase Wallet.

This time it's different – we're talking about a planetary onchain economy. Keep in mind that "homogeneous distribution", atomic, decentralised characteristic as I mentioned above, it will make it all difference.

And please bear in mind that narrative is a superpower, just as stories shaped human education in the early Stone Age. It preserves knowledge and heritage for the next generation, ultimately shaping technology and our society. This time, narrative will also spread the word - our onchain knowledge, technologies, and capital will be shaped on Farcaster and the broader ecosystem. And this time, Farcaster would be the storm eye of narrative. With the intergration of Farcaster frame and Coinbase Wallet, combining with the creator economy.

Blockchain is planetary and decentralised, in its blood.

Allow me to explain the concept of the "Planetary" framework - Why is it atomical, onchain, and decentralised?

Think of cryptocurrency as something born for the stars, not just for swapping money across borders. It's designed from the ground up to be interplanetary. Before crypto came along, we had "globalisation" taking over from "internationalisation," but even globalisation felt a bit... landbound. It didn't quite capture that sense of reaching for the cosmos.

Planetary phrase is a universal shift.

It's not solely about cross-nation expansion; it also concerns the even arrangement of how things work, particularly the pace, all within this single planetary economic system.

In the planetary phase, thanks to the economy based onchain, entities of the economy have been equalised and atomised. The economic right has been homogeneously distributed—a uniform distribution of structures at this stage (as a trend, not a result). No matter who you are, where you are, or when you are, even if you're an AI agent, a robotic arm, a cat, or whatever; whether you're deep in the ocean, on land, or floating in the universe ready for a frame shift drive charging, it's all the same: permissionless, fast, and verified.

Ultimately, what is the endgame for this decentralised society, as we already known it is planetary in its blood?

Consider a medieval history: peasants were often bound to the land of nobles and knights, unable to leave without their lord's permission. However, after the pivotal year of 1453 and throughout the 16th century, significant changes occurred. Mercenaries, merchants, and other free people were moving across Europe and Asia, and a new activity arose - oceanic voyages connecting continents. Gold and silver were brought back to Europe, while new technologies, people, and capital spread across the globe. These developments fundamentally transformed the world.

Looks similar? If we link it back to the catogorical method to define a society … and still bear the narrative, culture machine stuff in mind ...

I'm not sure how people can be bearish on these things: smart wallets, cryptocurrency, smart contracts, AI agents etc., honestly I'm fully bullish on these new trends, just like ARK Invest mentioned in their Big Ideas 2025 Report.

As we enter the solar phase, a decentralised society becomes crucial.

How can Farcaster achieve significant growth while retaining its core values, and why is the Farcaster + Base combination crucial?

While we cannot guarantee that this transformation will occur exclusively on Farcaster and Base, the resilience of onchain social networks and friendships - forged, maintained, and flourishing on-chain - demonstrates a powerful potential.

After witnessing dramatic cycles of rise and fall, akin to civilizations, I believe we are capable of building a new, planetary, onchain, and decentralised society – one that is entirely onchain native.

First, we should introduce the [P - C - C' - P' - P - ...] paradigm. This represents the economic growth model in modern capitalist society: Production - Consumption, simple yet fundamental. Macroeconomics illustrates this economic cycle through the Supply-Demand curve.

However, this paradigm overlooks numerous variants and parameters. I'm confident that more nuanced theories—such as the Romer Exogenous Growth Model or institutional economics—offer critical insights beyond the basic Production-Consumption mindset, though exploring those depths is a topic for another discussion.

What distinguishes the "cyberealism" world from the traditional economic model, especially considering how emerging technologies could transform our understanding? How can we articulate and identify these transformative insights? We urgently need an evolved growth model that captures these complex dynamics.

Our proposed approach introduces a different conceptual dimension. Instead of solely assessing the economy through the traditional Production-Consumption paradigm, we propose a continuous, iterative framework:

Assumption 1: Asian power √

Prior to analyzing the data, my hypothesis regarding global blockchain development activity suggested that beyond English-speaking territories, the primary development hubs would be concentrated in India and Spanish-speaking regions - the latter encompassing both Spain and numerous Latin American nations where Spanish serves as the primary language.

According to the comprehensive report, Asia has emerged as the dominant continent in terms of developer distribution, with India playing a pivotal role in this technological shift. The empirical data reveals that India and China collectively command over 15% of the global developer share, ranking second and fourth respectively in the worldwide developer distribution.

Assumption 2: Spanish power ×

Contrary to initial expectations, the Spanish-speaking ecosystem presents an interesting case study. While my observations indicated robust community engagement and high-quality output from Spanish-speaking developers, the data suggests a different reality. Although the Spanish-speaking community may need to enhance its technical development infrastructure, their exceptional prowess in community building and content creation had created a perception bias in my analysis, leading me to overestimate their ranking among global developer communities.

Assumption 3: Base around the world - Partially √

A particularly intriguing aspect warranting investigation is Base. Base is emerging, responsible for 42% of the new code being written in the Ethereum ecosystem, but how is the "Base around the world" doing? Focusing on key emerging markets - Nigeria, India, and Southeast Asia - the data reveals encouraging trends. Base has successfully established itself among the top 3 in both Nigeria and India, demonstrating strong traction. However, Southeast Asia presents a different scenario, with Base yet to achieve top-tier status. This can be attributed to Base's strategic timeline, with 2024 designated as Base expansion year and Base SEA operations intensifying only in Q4 (correct me if I'm wrong). The performance metrics for Southeast Asian developers on the Base platform will be a crucial indicator to monitor in the coming fiscal year.

Some Critics

The primary data source is GitHub repositories and stacks, which may present certain limitations as it may exclude private repositories and closed-source projects such as CEXs, and Opensea (counted as crypto devs in the strict sense). Additionally, some potential data noise may affect the final results, such as temporary spikes in activity from hackathons and similar events, which could impact the overall analysis.

I arrived in Bangkok at around 6 AM, exactly one week before Devcon 7. One reason for my early arrival was to prepare for some side events, either related to my projects or initiatives I'm deeply connected with.

The weather here in Thailand reminds me of my hometown - one of the major cities in southern China. That said, I'm not very fond of humid, rainy, hot, and sticky weather. Fortunately, in Bangkok, most public areas like malls and restaurants have air conditioning, so it's not a problem when you're indoors.

This is my first time in Thailand. We chose the SRT railway to transport us between the airport and our hostel. On our way to the SRT railway station, we crossed a large pedestrian bridge. As soon as I stepped onto the bridge, officially outside the airport, I was struck by how wild this city is: Every vehicle on the main road seemed to be racing at top speed - cars, motorcycles, and Tuk-tuks (one of the most iconic sights on any Bangkok street, a three-wheeled vehicle typically modified with an incredibly powerful engine and distinctive noise) were competing with each other, creating tremendous engine noise. The vehicles under the bridge formed what looked like a raging river - rushing, roaring, and unstoppable. By then it was nearly 8 AM, and the sun was casting bright rays with intense heat through the air, while the river of vehicles reflected every slice of sunlight into my eyes... ouch.

Luckily (or perhaps unluckily), we lost our way immediately after crossing the bridge. We took the train in the completely wrong direction. Well, at least we got a chance to see how this city operates from a peaceful, normal, non-tourist perspective: A large group of students took the train to school, their young and passionate faces greeting each other; some were playing games on their phones while remaining extremely quiet on the SRT (I'm not sure why - perhaps it's part of the culture?). We saw the areas between urban and rural Bangkok filled with forests and farming fields, where birds and squirrels occasionally jumped across the power lines. After a couple of hours of being lost, taking the wrong direction on the SRT railway, and climbing up and down stairs at the railway station just to find the right direction... we finally arrived at our hostel. I'm not complaining about the city or the trip though - it was actually quite fun.

One thing I should mention is that when I was booking a suit, we asked the shop owner about accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, or stablecoins as payment methods, and we received a relatively positive response. He was already familiar with and had some knowledge about Bitcoin, stablecoins, and even Ethereum. However, official acceptance would need to consider Thailand's local laws and regulations. Details like payment security (to protect against potential hacks or social engineering attacks) and centralized backup support, such as having a Coinbase sales team available, would be really helpful when it comes to implementing real-life crypto payment solutions.

这类课程一般只对基本的金融概念进行非全面的科普，并且漏洞百出。例如，毫无前提条件的兜售定投策略、推销保险产品等。实际上，“个人理财”服务是一种面向小布（注：如无特别说明，本文论述的小布泛指赛里斯特色的城市小资产阶级、小文化资产阶级、脑力劳动普罗大众、精神资产阶级）财务人格的消费主义话术，利用了小布群体的阶级跌落焦虑、财务人格，对小布或普罗精资来说是益处甚微的。

那么，我们应该怎么办呢？难道就不学习理财课程了吗？本指南将教你从根本上破除这些迷思与幻想，彻底从金融资本主义贩卖的幻想迷宫中走出来。

什么是私有资料规划？

在实践中，“个人/家庭理财”的原意应是：以个体或家庭为单位，进行有形或无形资源分配与规划的学科。无论在何种社会制度下，只要私有制财产被允许存在，这样的学科对我们来说仍然是可用的知识工具，需要我们进行认识论上的学习与重组。为了与市面上兜售的“个人理财”服务区分，并强调本人知识体系的立场，我将这类以家庭单位的经济金融应用学科称之为“私有资料规划”。

为什么要学习和实践私有资料规划？

根据马克思主义政治经济学的普遍划分，物质或精神材料（一般称为资料）对人来说可分为生活资料、发展资料、生产资料。生活资料即满足人衣食住行等基本需求的物质消费，发展资料是人生存过程中休息、学习等再生产活动所需的物质或精神消费；生产资料即人在创造或实践劳动过程中必要的物质材料，如厂房、设备等，即狭义上的资本。

简单来说，人要活命，就需要生活资料；人想进一步发展，就需要发展资料；而人需要进行生产、创造劳动，就需要生产资料。对私有资料规划进行学习，将有利于我们最大程度的发挥个体与家庭的主体性，有意识、有目的、有计划的将资源分配到最紧迫的方向，减少在不必要方向的资源分配，提升私有资源的分配效率。

一般理财或保险行业从业者将个人/家庭资料看作是一个投资组合（investment portfolio），普遍地将家庭资料组合可分为四个方向的子账户 —— 消费、储蓄、投资、保险。

事实上，当我们将家庭投资组合与投资学风险管理的视角结合后，投资组合仅剩下消费、投资两个子账户。这是因为：

• 储蓄与国债类似，都是一种保本、低息、低风险的金融产品。

• 保险本质上是一类负贝塔（-β）对冲金融产品，并入投资账户

因此，本质上家庭投资组合仅存在消费、投资两个子账户。

透过马政经的视角对通俗分类进行审视，我们会发现，这样通俗的分类出现了许多问题：消费账户中有如水、食物这般必要、根本的消费，也混杂了享乐消费，甚至也包括重要的发展资料消费？而投资账户中，哪些项目是真正的增值性资本积累？因此，我们需要经由马政经视角对通俗分类进行审视，根据人需求层次的不同，将混乱的通俗消费账户支出重新分类：

• 必要生存消费：人的生物属性消费，超越符号性享乐、阶级属性，人中短期存活所必须的最低生存水平。如维生药品、自来水、垃圾食品、油、盐、最小活动空间等，不考虑长期健康、生活水平、口味等偏好。在马政经中，必要生存消费属生活资料。

• 一般生活消费：现代社会长期稳定生活所需的消费，维持人长期、稳定、健康的生活水平。如长期药品、开水、平价食品、调料、住房（租赁）、运动场地等。在马政经中，一般生活消费属生活资料。

• 再生产消费：人的社会属性消费，如电影、音乐、优质睡眠、心理健康、生活环境等，以符号性享乐、良好的休息为导向，维持人长期稳定的生产水平。在马政经中，再生产消费属生活资料。

• 发展资料消费：现代资本主义社会环境 中提高生产效率、技术水平、管理能力等方面所需要的消费，如培训费、学费、书籍等。分为证书与生产能力提升两类，在实践中并不总是界限分明的。

  • 门槛型凭证消费，即各类证书本身。证书本质上是帮助资本降低信息不对称成本的工具，资本将识别信息不对称风险的成本转嫁给劳动者，劳动者在支付精力与消费支出后，使用凭证在劳动力市场的竞争中挤占其他无证书+有能力劳动者可变资本份额，不产出额外剩余价值，加深劳动者内耗、产出系统性劳动后备军，不属于资本；

  • 提升生产能力的系统性学习消费。一定条件下产出资本主义经济学中定义的“人力资本”，转化为额外的技术能力，生产出更多的剩余价值，并具备资本增值的性质（袁丽美，2003，《马克思主义政治经济学中的人力资本理论》），应属资本。

• 风险对冲（负 β）投资：用于对冲生产、生活中有可能出现的风险，主要包括社会保险、商业保险、医疗储蓄、应急物资储备等。此类投资属对冲策略，对资本积累大体无益，但对人的基本生存与阶级地位起到一定保障作用。

• 低风险（低 β）投资：资本积累与增值最主要的部分，主要包括货币储蓄、国债、年金，以及经济上行期的企业债等其他债券、信托、住房、商铺、厂房、设备、质押凭证等，应注意的是不包含医疗储蓄、应急储蓄等风险对冲项目。在马政经中，低风险投资属生产资料。资本积累、增值最主要的形式，稳固阶级地位最重要的方式。

• 高风险（高 β）投资：资本投机最主要的部分，主要包括创业、公司股权（含一级、二级市场）、基金、另类投资品，以及期货、期权、互换等金融衍生品。资本投机最主要的形式，产生阶级流动。

经过梳理可以发现，消费账户中也有资本积累相关的项目，而投资账户中各项目的属性对资本积累的意义也各不相同。我们转换视角，根据项目对资本积累不同的作用，将以上项目重新按照是否有益于资本积累的非资本账户、资本账户进行重新分类。

• 必要型生活资料/生存资料

• 改善型生活资料

• 再生产生活资料

• 信息不对称证明

• 风险对冲资料：即风险对冲（负 β）投资，一定程度上维持阶级水平

• 发展资料：切实提升生产能力与效率的资料，如人力资本、身份资本

• 生产资料/手段： 具体包括对厂房、设备、创业市场的股权投资等有形资产，也包括知识产权、生产力工具软件（如数据库）、经营渠道、品牌IP等方面（不一定是被明确定义和公开谈论的）生产手段的掌握。

• 资本投机

• 货币储值

小布所掌握的资本，主要以“身份资本”、“人力资本”为主，如房产及其带来的户口身份、学历及其带来的门槛证书、小份额金融投资品等零散资本。这样的特点就产生了两种平行的生产关系 —— 一方面，小布（或其家庭所有，个体无法支配）掌握的零散资本份额使小布掌握了与底层普罗争食可变资本份额、成为中大资本帮凶的能力，让其能够拥有相对稍好的生活水平与保障。另一方面，由于小布尚未完成完全的资本积累，无法完全掌握自身劳动所需的生产资料，或因无法抵御经济周期风险导致无法完全倚赖资本增值进行吸血，又或因资本增值无法完全支持小布的精神焦虑所需（在大部分小布看来即是“日常生活”所需），小布仍然在经济结构上被迫高度倚赖自身劳动。

在这种“双轨制”结构下，小布的异化人格被进一步加强。最终，小布去到了他们该去的地方 —— 被资本主义文化符号俘获，成为资本帮凶或精神资本家，同时被资本压制、成为“资本后备军”。

归根结底，对后现代资本主义环境下的小布们来说，普遍不缺少物质上最基本的衣、食、住、行供应（不可抗力的例外因素在后文也将考虑在内），即不缺乏基本的生活资料供应。但事实上，小布群体却普遍存在一种复杂、纠结、自相矛盾的共性精神焦虑。这种焦虑实际上自小布诞生以来便有之。但在后现代消费主义图景与后工业时代科技相结合后，这样的焦虑成为一种更为极端、广泛的共性，小布群体的私有资料大部分耗费在对抗此类焦虑的消费上。具体来看，这种精神焦虑的矛盾主要体现在两方面：

小布对现有秩序下自己获得的阶级地位、市民生活图景有着无意识、扭曲的幻想与迷恋 —— 他们或多或少的知道大多数工人、农民的生存状态才是这个社会的常态，但在日常生活的环境中，小布选择性的不直击现实，下意识的、一叶障目的认为自己的阶级与生存状态才是社会生产生活需要不变的“正常”，是与底层普罗有着（表面/资本符号系统上的）差距的。这让小布们生产了一种病态的异化身份认同和价值观 —— 我 = 资产；我 = 学历、我 = “圈子”、我 = 优异的工作岗位、我 = 消费、我 = 容貌 ……

为了维持这种与底层普罗的差异，以及维持小布自身极其脆弱人格（一般是财务人格）的稳定性，小布的私有资料规划天生、无意识的向非资本积累方向靠拢，这种靠拢不一定是纯享乐的，但一定是深受后现代消费主义影响的。例如教育奢侈品化、医美消费、超前消费、符号性享乐奢侈品化、生产资料奢侈品化等。这导致小布普遍存在改善型生活资料、再生产资料投入过剩，以及再生产资料转化不充分的问题。

为了“一劳永逸”的解决这种焦虑，“永久的”与底层普罗大众拉开差距，绝大部分小布都有意识或无意识的相信资本主义所描绘的阶级晋升图景 —— 通过努力劳动即可完成资本的原始积累，在某一个质变的点上完成“华丽转身”，成为真正的资产阶级。但现实却是，因为小布只能掌握极小部分利润（如绩效），随着生产或创造的商品总价值越大，自身的剥削率或压迫率越高，则小布不得不拿出自己掌握的不多的私有资料，投入到无底洞一般的再生产中，以填补超额剥削或超额压迫所带来的负面影响。

劳动能力凭证本质上是帮助资本在信息不对称环境下识别风险的工具，这类成本应由资本承担，但在后现代资本主义社会中，这类风险识别成本被转嫁给了劳动者。

我们以一个极端情况举例，假设一个拥有证书、但毫无工作能力的劳动者 A，与没有剩余时间/精力/金钱获得证书、但拥有丰富实践与理论经验的劳动者 B 同时在劳动力市场中竞争。毋庸置疑，劳动者 A 将在后现代资本主义的环境中大概率胜出，而劳动者 B 甚至有可能无法获得进入劳动力市场竞争的资格。因此，凭证不但是一项被资本转嫁的风险识别成本工具，还是一项挤占其他劳动者可变资本份额的底层互害工具。从整体来看，劳动能力凭证不产出额外的剩余价值，加深劳动者内耗、产出了更为系统性的失业劳动后备军。

在实践当中，不少小布对劳动能力凭证符号化的资本主义叙事深信不疑，盲目的将资料投入到自以为的“人力资本”中，非但没有提升自身的生产效率与能力，从根本上也无益于资本积累，还在不断承担资本转嫁的成本。同时，劳动能力凭证也潜移默化的产生了另一个问题：一方面，由于对发展资料的消费逐渐被异化为专业化劳动能力凭证，出现如纯粹刷学历、刷简历等纯粹购买劳动能力凭证的行为，大量非专业劳动无法被市场定价或被低估，失去了其在当下资本主义市场的价值。这在某种程度上也迷惑与阻碍了小布将发展资料消费充分利用并转化为对自己资本积累有益的“人力资本”的主体性发挥。

马克思早已揭示资产阶级的产生过程：要么进行血腥的压榨与剥削，要么进行冒险的投机。在后现代赛博垄断资本大鱼吃小鱼、市场份额瓜分殆尽的环境下，资本投机门槛高、失败概率大。一旦投机失败，小布阶级滑落的焦虑就将成为阶级滑落的现实。当小布认识到这个问题后，资本投机成为了空谈，小布又不得不逃回阶级滑落焦虑导致的或虚无主义的、或体验主义的意识形态旋涡中去，重新将资本投机资料份额分配到改善型生活资料或再生产资料项目中去。

在经典观念中，生产资料主要是有形的设备、厂房等工人劳动所必须的资料。对于大部分为脑力劳动者的小布来说，我们需要回到马克思，重新梳理何为生产资料。

生产资料原意为 means of production，即生产手段。对脑力劳动者来说，设备、厂房即数据库等软件，以及电脑、办公场地等，但这仅是脑力生产资料中的部分份额。必须明确的是，资本家在市场上建立、购买或交换销售渠道、品牌、劳动力等脑力生产要素的方法与渠道，以及对信用体系的利用和信用积累，才是核心的生产手段。小布在劳动过程中，与生产资料紧密没有结合在一起，而是普遍盲目的相信职位、工资等资本主义定义的增值符号，没有深刻的看到脑力劳动被公司组织起来背后的结构。这导致脑力小布在离开了公司等垄断性渠道后，也难以组织起有效的生产与商品流通网络，无法抢占市场份额。

自此我们可以看到，小布在对私有资料规划（或无意识使用）的过程中，产生以下几个问题。

• 过度的改善型生活资料投入；

• 信息不对称证明成本被转嫁；

• 资本投机量级小、投机能力不足，不可持续；

• 忽视生产手段与长期资本的积累

产出端：

• 再生产资料转化不充分；

• 发展资料转化不充分；

• 未充分利用资本主义社会信用体系机制

将在手掌握、可深度影响的资料划分为非资本账户、资本账户，划分清晰的项目边界。因为理清边界的目的是计算私有资料规划分配的占比，所以可以现金、现金流、原价或折损价等方法进行计价，保持口径统一即可。例如，以每月现金流为口径，在每月收入的现金流、到现金支出的过程中，多少现金比例分配给了必要型生存资料，而现金支出在改善型生活资料的现金支出占比为多少？

通过划清边界与持续跟踪，我们很容易会发现自身私有资料规划出现的问题。

不需要每时每刻都跟踪，一大段时间做一次，主要盯着支出高的打

原则一：通过改造认识论，缓解精神焦虑，提升再生产资料的转化率

原则二：降低非资本账户的分配，提升资本账户分配

原则三：保证发展资料、生产手段投入的占比，并切实提升发展资料的转化率

原则四：根据现实经济形势，改变风险对冲（防御）、货币储值（均衡）、资本投机（进攻）在资本账户中的占比

原则五：根据负贝塔最小保障理论，建立风险对冲机制

原则六：利用好信用体系机制，将信用转化为资本账户项目，而不是非资本账户项目

由于前述的各类原因，这样广义的保障无法在动荡与变化的新时代形势下为个人提供根本上的保障。因此，-β 最小可行保障理论主要关注马克思政治经济学意义上的生活资料。

β（Beta ）是源于统计学、主要应用于金融/投资学中的风险溢价指标，泛指与独立事件特性无关的系统性风险及其带来的收益。

什么是负贝塔“-β”？

在保险学中，保险的风险与收益比为负数，即 -β。但实际上，没有任何人希望 -β 事件发生，当一个标的 β 系数为负时，风险发生时才可获得收益，且发生的风险越大、获得的收益越高。从投资学的角度来看，-β 投资（如购买特定的保险）则是一种对冲型投资策略。

为什么应用 -β 最小可行保障理论？

金融系统本身（包括银行、证券、保险三大子行业）存在金融行业的大 β 系数，在经济金融大规模系统性风险发生时，虽有国家机器的强制背书，但仍存在不少的银行、保险公司延期兑付或拒绝对付的案例。此外，保险服务相对门槛较高、条款复杂，在不可抗力风险发生时，投保人大多数情况下都无法及时获得相应赔付或保障。基于以上两点，将 -β 最小可行保障理论应用于实践将成为相对于社会安全网更为根本的保障。

• Purpose: Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain accurate ledger records

  • Purchase daily supplies and manage operational inventory

  • Operational supplies are always sufficient with no stockouts

In my opinion, household labour should not be free, but capitalism has not assigned a monetary value to domestic work. In other words, reproduction does not have direct market value unless we separate household labour from the family and turn it into a specialised housekeeping service. We can see that Japanese housewives have developed home economics to the extreme - I suspect this is because Japan in the Showa era emphasised traditional gender roles where men worked outside and women managed the household. Women could refine (Kaizen) their skills in domestic labour, which includes valuable work such as financial management, bookkeeping, and organisation within the household. In this context, housewives could be considered skilled workers with a high level of expertise. Unfortunately, capitalism does not encourage such non-marketised behaviour, and we can see that even when women perfect these domestic skills, the market does not directly recognise their labour.

Therefore, I wonder if we can find a "third way" for households through DAOs, similar to the values promoted by Optimism - improving capitalism? This is how AndroAO was born. It is a long-term, small-scale experiment pursuing greater equality, mutual aid, the liberation of household labour, and ultimately aiming to transcend the postmodern atomised society. I am starting this experiment using myself as the research subject. Incidentally, this experiment can also onboard some normies IRL onchain, allowing them to encounter DAOs and realise that DAOs and cryptos are not entirely related to money.

This proposal adopts a bottom-up, progressive approach and action path. Through the process of action, multiple sub-proposals are put forward, discussed, validated, and approved based on actual circumstances. The S0 proposal is ultimately reviewed and retroactively approved through a series of sub-proposal approvals.

In the early stages, positions do not require elections; self-nomination and collective approval will suffice.

In postmodern society, workers are forced (It seems like not that forced though) to continuously pursue higher efficiency and greater output. However, a harsh work environment with no work-life balance can lead us to further neglect our own reproductive capacity, trapping us in a vicious cycle of energy depletion.

This is also true for creators and digital nomads: although they can control when and where to work, they still need to re-examine and rethink their work inertia and habits, whether they admit it or not. Even though they no longer have a boss, monetary value still dominates their work and indirectly affects their lives.

The reproduction referred to here is not just about rest and relaxation, but also about scientifically managing time, cultivating healthy living habits, and fostering a positive psychological state. We work here for a long run isn't?

When encountering an energy bottleneck at work, it might be more necessary to examine whether your reproduction is effective, rather than extending work hours. Such reflection and examination require more time, energy, and thought than the work itself.

Sleeping, gaming, reading, learning, philosophical reflection, interpersonal relationships, and physical health are all non-productive activities that fall under the category of personal reproduction. This concept originates from the Marxist theory of "personal reproduction," which is an extension of the social reproduction theory.

The Marxist theory posits that production includes not only the production of material goods but also the reproduction of labour power. The reproduction of labour power requires not only food, shelter, and other material conditions but also the fulfilment of personal physiological, psychological, and social needs to maintain and enhance the ability of labour power to engage in production again.

On one hand, in terms of time and energy allocation, the strategy should be to extend reproduction time as much as possible and compress production time, rather than the other way around. Production activities squeezing out reproduction time can bring a false sense of satisfaction, which has been criticized by many psychological schools. For example, the cause of procrastination is precisely the lack of specialization in reproduction, not insufficient effort in work. By adjusting this strategy, personal time and energy can be clearly divided, forming a sense of finiteness. "Finish quickly and leave quickly" can, in turn, promote the improvement of production efficiency and the specialization of reproduction.

On the other hand, the variety of reproduction activities should be expanded (following the principle of marginal utility) to examine whether there is an over-reliance on a single reproduction activity. Reproduction should not be limited to a single activity but requires the richness of multiple activities to complement each other.

This shift in personal production-reproduction perspective can effectively address postmodern issues like fragmented entertainment, lack of attention, procrastination, anxiety, and low energy. By changing your perspective, you can reclaim your energy and effectiveness from now on!

Base, as an L2 using OP stack built on Ethereum, naturally aligned itself with the whole Ethereum ecosystem and its value, which is also closely tied to Ethereum ecosystem. By doing so, it creates a synergistic relationship that could redefine the Layer 2 landscape. The slogan ‘Base = Ethereum’ or ‘Ethereum is based’ is highly recognized in the base and Farcaster ecosystem. But is that the ultimate endgame?

In August, Coinbase announced cbBTC this month on X, a wrapped version of Bitcoin on the Base network, which represents a strategic move to enhance Bitcoin's utility within the Ethereum ecosystem. This move addresses an attempt of Coinbase to fill a critical gap in the market, potentially catalysing increased Bitcoin participation in DeFi protocols.

On Sept 11, 2024, as @0xLuo reported, Jesse Pollak, Base, Aerodrome and Moonwell all posted an orange Base logo. One step further, according to BaseColors.com's post on X, the code of the colour #F7931A has been tagged as 'Bitcoin'.

On the alliance and neutral side, Base has multiple friends and allies in the Ethereum ecosystem. On the other side, it’s hard to say the culture Ethereum, BTC, and Solana ecosystem are sharing the same page. Fortunately, the majority of the crypto world shares the same consensus: BTC is important for all.

No one can deny that Bitcoin has been and still will be the firmest consensus both onchain and offchain. If you ask normies about Ethereum or any other altcoins, they may think about scams or a strange Ponzi scheme, but if you ask them about Bitcoin, they may first think about how people make money on Bitcoin by owning and digging it in the early stage. Even the most anti-crypto people can not deny that Bitcoin has changed the world. THE Symbol stands for the value of the cypherpunk movement moved into this modern age and 80% of onchain users are brought into this onchain world by the reputation of Bitcoin.

I'm not sure what July and Lilping exactly mean by that, but I realised that the crypto world is actually in a similar dynamic to the warring state period of ancient China, and maybe the cbBTC is the key, the strategy of Base reminiscent of the ‘合縱連橫，遠交近攻’ (vertical and horizontal alliances) employed in ancient Chinese statecraft.

The Story of ‘合縱連橫，遠交近攻’ - Vertical and Horizontal Alliances, Befriend the Distant, Attack the Near During China's Warring States period (475 BC~221 BC), the concept of "Vertical and Horizontal Alliances" emerged as a diplomatic strategy. The "Vertical Alliance" aimed to unite the northern and southern states against the powerful state of Qin in the west, while the "Horizontal Alliance" sought to ally with Qin against the other states. I believe Base transcends the conventional paradigm of merely introducing decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure to the Bitcoin ecosystem - a feat already achievable through platforms like Radiant Capital or via wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) solutions. It is definitely meaningful if Base attempts to bridge different blockchain ecosystems. By extending beyond Ethereum, Base is paving the way for greater interoperability and collaboration across the crypto space.

As Jesse said in the presentation: We’re not just building DApps, we should build Apps that are better than all the other apps out there. By introducing the cbBTC and other attachments, I hope we will not just building and creating for Ethereum, creating something magical onchain, across all chains and having some basic consensus would be a huge step for bringing the whole crypto industry unite again.

Oh, maybe this is just another Base marketing campaign called Onchain Autumn, well I'm glad to see it too.

一方面，在时间和精力分配上，策略应该是尽量延长再生产的时间，压缩生产的时间，而不是反过来。生产活动挤压再生产会带来一种虚假的满足感，这一虚假的行动也已被许多心理学流派所批判。例如，拖延症的原因恰恰是再生产专题化不足，而不是工作不够努力。通过这样的策略调整，个人的时间和精力才会划分出明确的边界，形成有限性，“赶紧干完赶紧撤”反过来会促进生产效率提升和再生产的专题化。

另一方面，还应扩大再生产的种类（遵循边际效益原则），以审视是否过度依赖某一种再生产活动。再生产不能局限于单一活动，而需要多种活动的丰富性来共同补齐。这类个人生产-再生产姿态改变导向的行动，能有效治疗碎片化娱乐、注意力不足、拖延症、焦虑、精力不足等等后现代症状。

挖一挖你的前意识与无意识：看看你的脑子里想的东西，它们是如何由 BAYC 的图生成了你脑子里的价格图、“一种生活方式”、“有钱”，而你又是如何把这些脑内景观重新转化为意识可以理解的提示词，并得以表达出来的。富有、有钱、抽象、dope、real，或是前几年大火的嘻哈元素残存记忆 BApe …

同样的，当你打开 The Sandbox 的地图， 无数的 memes、logo、icon 充斥冲向你的大脑。

在今天，符号界构成的景观是随处可见的。

当你踏入大型高端购物商场时，你会被那如同罗马时代巴西利卡般宏伟的建筑所吸引。这种设计不仅令人惊叹，更是人类创造力和资本的奇迹。尽管这里是一个明显的资本概念，但在我们的脑海中，它却是一首对人类创造力的颂歌。

随着你的脚步，一阵清香不温不火、不紧不慢的侵入你的意识。你仿佛置身于纽约曼哈顿高层公寓的落地窗街景、巴黎香榭丽舍大道的咖啡香气和米兰时装周的时髦感中。你不自觉地想象着自己站在伦敦塔的顶端，俯瞰着整个城市。

此时，悠扬的轻音乐也开始抚摸着你的听觉系统。你从对人类创造力的惊叹和对香气的迷恋中缓过神来。各种奢侈品牌的符号接踵而至，闲暇与财富在这里得以平等交织。你知道，你终于可以和他们一样，在这座巴西利卡里享受自己的消费欲望了。

这些免费的、对美学秩序的崇拜，一种消费主义的景观，气味、声音、图像、各种激发欲望的符号渗透进来，无孔不入。

而这就构成了我们今天的符号消费社会。在这个社会中，人们的消费不仅是为了满足物质需求，更是为了满足精神需求 —— 塑造自己的社会地位、身份认同，一种绕着虚无转圈并自以为找到身份认同逃离的方法。

要进一步了解这种符号的力量，我们可以回到三界理论的提出者 —— 雅克·拉康（Jacques Lacan），拉康基于佛洛依德的精神分析（却与佛洛依德有很多根本上的不同），他提出理论诸如镜像阶段（mirror phase）等学说对当代精神分析、左翼哲学理论有着重大影响。

拉康最出名的莫过于其三界理论 —— 将世界分为“实在界”、“符号界”、“想象界”。今天我们主要说说符号界与想象界。关于想象界，知名拉康派学者 Bruce Fink 在《拉康论爱—— 对拉康研讨班 Ⅷ 的探索》一书中如此解释：

拉康之所以称其为想象，并不是为了突出幻觉这一维度，即并不真正存在的维度，而是为了强调图像（image）对人类以及动物界的重要性。拉康的写作立足于广泛的学科领域，不局限于精神分析，而是涉及实验心理学、行为学、人类学，甚至是光学。在探索图像对人类可能发挥的塑造性作用时，拉康参考了比上文更接近我们的物种 ... 黑猩猩显然与镜中自己的图像玩了一会儿，但并不对此着迷，也没有欣喜若狂——它们很快就耗尽了拉康所说的“图像的无用性（无意义、空虚）”并转而注意别的东西。

人与动物在这个例子中最大的区别，就是人会对无数的图像着迷并反复的着迷。这种追求是永无止境、永不停歇的，消费者并不只是追求图像本身，而是在追求图像背后的“原乐（Jouissance）”。当然，今天我们不会如此深入的讨论“原乐”这一概念。如果你觉得复杂，将其理解为佛家哲学中的执念，或是积极心理学中的欲望（desire）也未尝不可。

我们可以做一个思维实验，如果我们将实在界、符号界属性强的商品与绝大部分基于实在界的联系剔除、断开，会是一个怎样的未来？可以说，今天的二次元、电子游戏也有这样的能力，但与实在界的差距还是太大了，实在界的暴力仍在提醒你这不是真的。正如很多“普通人”尚未掉入电子游戏兔子洞时的第一反应：画面/游戏不够真实。

将这种图像化的景观连成一个毫无裂缝的面 —— 从意识形态化、基于现实的符号界消费转向整全的、毫无破绽的图像化消费，在元宇宙的帮助下将得以可能。而且这也无需完全基于VR/MR/AR，只需要让实在界创伤更无处可寻即可。图像更丰满、爱欲更空转，创伤缝隙也会变得更小、更无处可寻。

如同《黑镜（Black Mirror）》第一季第二集《Fifteen Million Merits》的故事一样：这一集讲述了一个现实中活生生的人生活在虚拟化现实世界中的故事（可以理解为混合现实（MR）的世界）。人们在这个世界中通过观看广告、踩运动单车发电攒 token，用 token 来购买生活必需品和娱乐活动。主人公攒了几百万个 token 之后，决定花费 token 参加选秀节目，希望能够改变自己的生活。在选秀节目中，他遇到了一个女孩，两人相互喜欢，但是女孩最终为了成为一个色情明星而放弃了自己的真实梦想。主角决定反抗这个虚拟世界的体制，但最终也被迫加入到这个体制中。

当我们把这个故事肢解，我们能看到很多有趣的东西：

• 🪙 主人公攒了几百万个 Token；

• 📺 躺在床上想睡觉时也要被强制观看广告，“你的时间非常值钱”；

• 💰 广告中播放的是心爱之人在被物化以及物化自己、出卖肉体和灵魂；

• 🚫 这个世界本就如此，所有人无处可逃；

• 🏗 所有人虽然不幸福，也在为这个想象界的世界添砖加瓦“出一分力”；

看起来是不是有点眼熟？

这种对实在界创伤的解构、虚无化，可能也将如《黑镜》里主角看到广告后的反应一般 ：创伤虽然就在那里，但人不自觉的因为现实的无力 —— 精神现实上的没有力气、没有剩余，不可避免的进入空转的爱欲、去追寻永远无法获得的原乐。不是我要改变这个系统，而是我要进一步异化自己加入这个系统。

所以大多数时候，meme coins 本身的 utility 没有人在乎；JPEGs 的项目方是否在做事重要，但并没有那么重要；元宇宙是否能“赋能”实体经济也不那么重要，供给与需求并不总需要在明面上一一对应，尤其是在后现代资本主义社会，这往往被称之为“溢价”、“信仰”，或是别的什么精神结构上的东西。

重要的不是创作者想表达什么，也不是项目方想做什么，我们也可以看看自己的前意识和无意识生成了什么。基本面分析固然重要，但从精神结构出发去看待这些话题，我们能发现更多千丝万缕的联系和分析路径。
