Hello Audience. I have the pleasure to introduce you my next drop available on **SuperRare **on Tuesday 06/28.

The Majesty is the abstract representation of the magnificence, power and control exercised over creation by one of the most wonderful and sumptuous animals on the planet; the Tiger. With its haughty and composed posture, its mantle enchants those who see it, its grandeur draws respect and its roar inspires terror to those who hear it.

Elegance and strength exhibited through a single body

For this work I chose the tiger as a model because I believe it is one of the most fascinating and intriguing predators on earth and one of the few, after the lion, that is able to perfectly convey the combination of elegance and brutality. An elegance that I decided to represent using its bust drawn in the center of the stage, just as if I wanted to symbolize the beauty of its posture in order to emphasize the majesty of its graces, as if it were a beautiful model posing, captures the attention of the observer. The dynamics of the colors, the defragmentation effect symbolize the abstraction of its brute strength, its power of domination and its thirst for blood. The decomposition of the forms and the irregularity of the same, express all its brutality, all its ferocity and destructive force that are activated when its instincts feel the call of nature for their awakening.

An alternative way to interact with a killer

Elegance, composure, pose, model, almost make us forget that we are dealing with a predator and therefore a dangerous animal. The use of strong and bright colors play in favor of this purpose, making this ferocious animal look like a harmless and tame kitten, incapable of harming any soul.

My goal was to exalt the puppy side of the tiger by transcending the primordial and dark side that would flaunt the emergence of the image of elegance in the observer’s mind, preventing the work from making such an effect. In this way, the animal acquires dignity and respect by temporarily yielding a part of its aggressive instincts in favor of a superficial benign ridiculousness that is given to it thanks to the shades of color that recall those of a children’s puppet, almost a toy.

ThE CiRCUs is a work that belong to a series of 4 drops where the main subject is the losing of control and power by the hand of animals. Human technology progression more advance more sacrifice always more natural spaces causing suffering and sometimes accelerating the natural extinction processes of biological life forms on the planet.

Animals used to be kings in their territories since long times ago, are reduced slaves by the human artificial strenghts and domine power lust enforced by their hi-tech equipment. Earth is changed fastly because human direct activity and sistematical interventions, where everything once seen as outstanding landscape to preserve and live in, is now seen as a source of expendable and selling portion of material without value if not the interest they afford to list on it.

**ThE CiRCUs **shows an elephant as subject that is ridiculed by humans and changed from a giant pachyderm, king of its reign, in a clown inside a CiRCUs with the only purpose to entertain people. The gears that surround it set behind its head are the icons of what it has become to our eyes; an object that we can buy and sell as we want, deciding for its own life if it is or not useful to our financial interest.

It represents the enslavement process in which the strong animal is turned into a harmless puppy. Human egocentrism feels satisfaction for these actions even shame, because the capability to do so thanks to his weapons that make him presume to be a great master, instead to be shaken internally, in the soul, for this grave snub to one of the most powerful nature creation.

We had acquired the power of life or death, this acquisition had contributed to generate the mental illusion to domine whatever we want with the false perception that our actions won’t have any consequences that will fall on us.

Humans, psychologically mislead by their skills had lost the contact with reality, sinking in a collective psychosis where the only things they are by now able to do are buying and selling, consuming the life and its forms itself.

1. WANDER available on SuperRare

#WANDER: the story behind

***WANDER ***is a n.4 artworks collection where the main focus is concentrated on the theme of loneliness and strong emotions that derive from perceiving oneself abandoned to oneself. What does it mean in depths to feel alone and useless, sacrificed by an unclean and perfidious destiny to wander in the indifference of invisibility in the eyes of others and of the world in which one lives?. It could be an illusion of the mind, a mirage, an evanescent image that dissolves before the eyes but the weight of that perception remains, is felt and the burden deriving from its weight on the soul will be devastating.

It is known, ourselves, our identity modulation depends by the way others shape the image of ourselves and the relation we have with it is related to our ability to accomplish the others desires and expectations. When we excellence, it’s all good, when we want to be who or what we want to,without taking into account others opinions, we fail, or worse, we got destroyed. The whole entire world that surround us collapse and there is no neither hand nor help willing to sustain us. ***Wander ***is a tribute to all these situations that we constantly live in daily routine and that we had personally experimented once in life, or, heard or read on a newspaper distracted by the idea it will never happen to us.

In order to convey the meaning of the context I used jagged and dynamic abstract grundge forms, apparently rapid and sinister to represent the backgrounds and environments, always rich in gaudy pointed details, highly contrasting with abundant use of blacks and whites, dissonant shades where warm and strong colors prevail. In this context of bright colors there is always present the key supporting element of all the works that has been symbolically represented with a small spaceship. This science fiction aircraft is the icon of the man who wanders alone, forgotten and apparently invisible in a world that appears to him distorted, degenerated, corrupted and degraded, just as if it had been devastated by a cataclysm and reduced to a pile of rubble or after being hit by an apocalyptic war. A war that rages undisturbed, in silence, as if no one was aware of it or more simply as if everyone were subjected to its dominant power and its pestilence. In this destroyed abstract world, the little spaceship continues its journey unabated and aimlessly.

This collection is not the only product of the imagination but takes inspiration from the social problem of marginalization and withdrawal from public life, uncomfortable and often deliberately ignored matters. Wander, in its own way, with its abstract colors and its picturesque flashy brushstrokes, wants to give a cry of comfort and respond to an invisible s.o.s. acting as a foothold and support to all those people who are affected by the indifference that dominates our world, trying to exorcise the pain they carry inside.

I used different brushes for the realization of these works: circle brushes, grundge, euphoria brushes, abstract stones & rocks, gravity brushes, cutting edges brushes.

As my common taste, I choice a combination of armonic colors where we can excel purple-blue tones.

2. ARBORESCENT available on Foundation

#ARBORESCENT: the story behind

***Arborescent ***is a collection of 4 works of art of a dynamic abstract genre, which intends to overwhelm the observer and drag him into a vortex of strength and energy. All the works are made with inclined brushstrokes and shapes bent diagonally, conveying a sense of frantic, shapeless and highly kinetic movement. The main theme is that of nature, which, as in the collection shared on OpenSea “naturalism”, dominates unstoppable in its vigor and expansion. Unlike “naturalism”, ***Arborescent ***has another protagonist that comes to life within its frames; I’m talking about the human brain and its neuronal structure.

At this point a person may wonder what is the connection between nature and the brain; well, without a doubt, the modality of connection and communication through a dense network of subtle ramifications, able to distribute information from a central point to the most distant centers in a few moments; both nature and the human brain are highly efficient in matters of transmission and expansion, at least for me and so I decided to express this concept through the use of stylized figures, highly dense as branches, pointed disharmonious shapes that seem to move in diagonal towards a specific direction in space, which gives a kinetic sense of rapid and uneven movement just like that of a data transmission signal that moves in space quickly and imperceptibly, and spherical shapes, which represent recursion and eternity apparent of this highly efficient operating system that connects directly in these 2 forms of representation: nature and brain.

The use of plant and vegetable brushes creates a visual assonance in line with the idea of nature and that of the brain, as I associate the image of the blossoming of plants with that of cerebellar development, like a multidirectional mushroom; The name “arborescent” derives from the thought of this phenomenon of rapid expansion in the neighboring space and from the energy inherent in it, which wants to identify the power of our mind comparable to plants in nature that expands, grows and develops all around generating new life. Nature and its floral expression are the symbol of breath, which it is the action that makes life sustain itself.

As my preference, also for the realization of this collection I used shaped brushes, defragmented and dispersion brushes the most.

I have choosen brilliant colors also for these works, because I think there is a strong connection between warmth colors, unstoppable nature energy: high dynamism produce energy and heat.

3. PLATFORM 2B available on Makersplace

#PLATFORM 2B: the story behind

After months of waiting and procrastination, I am finally going to upload the second collection consisting of 4 abstract works called* *PLATFORM 2B on the ***MakerSplace ***platform.It was a very tiring job not so much from the technical point of view of realization but from its significant point of view; Platform 2B recalls the many difficulties that man encounters in his daily life starting from childhood up to the after-effects of adult life; an endless journey through ups and downs, chaos, joys, grudges, moments of light and shadow, all seasoned with a good and intense touch of sarcasm. Let’s face it, life is beautiful if you don’t take it seriously :).

The intent of the abstract series is to deal with these complex and delicate themes and recontextualize them in a grotesque and bizarre, almost ridiculous way, but always careful not to hurt the sensitivity in this inherent theme, taking into account its seriousness, almost trying to make people forget the anxiety and moodiness that are automatically triggered by the mere thought of it.

It is not the first time that I find myself dealing with life and everyday life through works of art; even the ***WANDER ***collection, soon available on SuperRare, although for now I don’t know when, I’m waiting for a feedback for a collaboration for the launch, deals with similar issues unlike that Wander focuses more on aspects of sociality such as socialization and isolation, themes in my opinion very current and often deliberately ignored and underestimated, which touch me, to tell the truth, very closely in the personal having always been a very introverted, solitary and sensitive person on a character level.

PLATFORM 2B evokes the difficulty of everyday life, through the use of figures and symbolisms such as mainly the presence of a kind of aircraft that flies and orientates itself randomly in space, always fleeing from something dark, which appears to chase it, that aimlessly support it; a one-way journey which is life, without counting on the help of anyone, often in anguish and anxiety for the fear of not making it and not being able to look others in the eyes for the shame of facing one’s failure. The degraded, destroyed and decadent environments depicted with a good dynamic and warm pictorial touch using jagged brushes that reproduce dispersive and defragmented images, tread and emphasize this reality, a reality in which we all live and are involuntary participants and actors.

The series consists of 4 pieces where each has a 2-letter acronym that when put together form the word NR, AT, MA, TA.This is the famous game NIER_AUTOMATA, of which I am a huge fan (I’m playing it), which I decided to integrate into the composition as a supporting key as the theme of the game is set in a corroded, apocalyptic and degraded context of reality, where the war and the resulting suffering is king.

As all my collection I used the same mode of paintings and brushes. My favorites are euphoria, grundge and cutting edges, this one very good to create fragmented and dispersion effects.

I used a mix of gradients as blu, light blue, purple, red. I really love the results the give as final end.

Hi guys after more than 10 articles uploaded including, many of which I dedicated to showing you my works, I would say that the time has come for me to go into a little more detail and take with me a short journey of my life, on who I am, and what I do.

my life in less than ten lines :)

My name is Adriano cadau, I am Italian and I am 36 years old. I have a strong passion for abstract and surreal art because it fully matches my way of seeing the world;

“superficial chaos, logic and reason deeping down”

I believe that abstraction is a technique to expose one’s emotions, naked, appearing irrational while maintaining a lucid ability to describe a particular theme or phenomenon through subliminal messages that are understandable only to a few people. Art is more connection with reality than a person can imagine, it helps to live with one’s demons by externalizing them and trapping them on a canvas, or in my case, behind a monitor. Art is pure therapy, perhaps at times a more effective medicine than many drugs.

In my life, outside the artistic world I have carried out countless activities, always looking for something better, the best solution or the best opportunity; I am a rather curious person, loves to know things and does not stop at appearances, always trying, or almost, to discover the truths hidden behind something before issuing guidance or making a single decision.

It is a feature that very often conflicts with what is systematically requested by society, where you must always know everything and immediately :). Very often they have misjudged me for this but I’m used to it. I am a quiet and reasonable person who is unlikely to be attracted by the seemingly friendly easy flattery that in reality, at times, hides treachery or ulterior motives from another person.

I have a degree in socio-health techniques (anything but art :)) and I have been a digital artist for some years interested in blockchain and NFTs. I discovered this strange and exciting world by chance while I was back in 2019 in Bologna at the Booming Contemporary Art show, where I got to know the platform that allowed me to seriously start monetizing my works; SuperRare. At the beginning I was a bit doubtful as art has always been considered as a not very useful and absolutely unpaid pastime but in the end I decided to sign up. Today, after about 3 years, I am also on *Makersplace *and *Foundation *where I have shared 3 of my collections of works with the spaces;

WANDER(sr), ARBORESCENT(fnd) and PLATFORM2B(ms).

I had partecipating to MADS Art Gallery of Milan Exibition “The world revolves around me” on date 28 January to 3 February 2022 where a wide audience had the opportunity to view my works.

About Arts I’m a self taught one, I just attended a *graphic design *course in 2014 took one year long and had the ACA (adobe certified association) certification. I came up with abstraction alone, day by day, step by step, by explorying, researching and watching masters as *Bakaarts *a pioneer in the digital art world, starting with easy photo compositing to advanced ones till handmade drawings and then turned into digital. I like adopting different styles and shifting interests from science-fiction to actual themes. Other pioneers I consider as my source of constant inspirations are: Fabio la Fauci, Skygolpe, *Hisartwork *and many others.

“how my works are made of”

All my art is created in Photoshop CC and digitally painted. Recently I started to draw and then transfer in the laptop subsequently. It happened that someone on *Reddit *asked me if they were made as AI or new techs but it is not; *I only make unique and digital stuff. *I count to mark this thing in order to avoid misunderstandings and mistakes that could compromise my work or intentions. I use particular brushes and create special effects that could generate an effect similar to AI (it is true) but it is not the same technique.

“what do I expect from the future”

Recently I am working on new works and new ideas, which concern rather delicate and important topics;* neurodivergence* and diversity. Soon I will release news about it. Anyway, this could be my permanent field of interest for the future. So, the next generation of works may have this theme as basement of construction.
