According to the w3c, a Decentralized Identifier, or DID, is “a globally unique identifier that does not require a centralized registration authority because it is registered with distributed ledger technology or other form of decentralized network.”

In the DID framework, instead of multiple digital identities being managed by multiple centralized providers, each person can have one digital identity that contains all identity information and is managed individually.

AiGuild is currently building a DID identity system that can serve GameFi, which means that any player entering the AiGuild ecosystem will be able to obtain a DID on-chain “ID card” that will contain a wide range of player identity information, such as The player’s multi-chain account information, KYC and other basic information; the player’s performance dimension data in the entire user group; an AiGuild score that represents the user’s behavior and achievements; insights into the player’s gaming interests, and further social and game recommendations.

The DID system of AiGuild will solve many of the problems faced by the existing GameFi ecosystem, and through further integration with various GameFi categories, players will be able to log in to different games through the DID in a one-stop manner. The DID is expected to further open up the data barrier between games and even help provide combinable scenarios for some in-game NFTs through some secondary applications based on the DID to further stimulate the imagination of these NFTs. The game operator will be able to build a user profile of any player who logs into the game through the DID to further analyze the development direction and mechanics of the game to further broaden the development direction of the game.

The DID system of AiGuild acts as an achievement system that can also serve other guilds, establishing criteria for individual guilds to find players to work with.
