At the end of 2023 I had shared my strategy for retiring with crypto in the coming 2 years.

I will not get into details but my hypothesis is built on bull run gaining steam in 2024 and reaching the peak by end of 2025.

In 2024 I plan to keep consolidating as much crypto as I can, mainly through airdrops and also from the earnings I get as content creator on Publish0x and Medium.

My belief is that anyone with zero starting capital can make it big in the world of crypto and is what true decentralisation has to offer for everyone with conviction in the power of blockchain.

Below is the timeline of the next BTC bull run I am expecting on which my plan will be linked to for the next 2 years.

How was January for my Retirement Plan?

Honestly speaking I was not expecting much from January considering that it was going to the first month in the 2 year plan. 2023 had not been a great year for airdrops as ARB was the only big airdrop I got during the whole year.

2024 however has started with a bang as I claimed the following 6 airdrops:

• ZKF — $50

• LFG (Less Fees n Gas)- $60

• MANTA — $50

• WEN — $140 ($70 in 2 wallets)

• JUP — $120

So total $420 received from airdrops. Not a big amount as I know many people getting tens of thousands worth of airdrops and I also missed out on ALT and DYM airdrops. I am still happy as any free money is good for me.

I decided to stake my MANTA as looking at the current narratives staking tokens of popular projects will get eligibility on future airdrops plus their tokens are doing well. Good recent example is Celestia which is one of my biggest conviction plays for 2024. I am not selling JUP as Solana looks very good and most of new projects seem to be exploding here. I have added liquidity for JUP on Kamino Finance which is giving a crazy APY on it right now.

WEN I think looks good but I sold half of it as I need some liquidity too. ZKF and LFG I sold off completely as I don’t see long term play there.

This got me $180 of liquidity from the airdrops.

I used this $180 in the following projects:

• TIA — $50 (got 3 tokens, staked 2 on MilkyWay and 1 on Kepler)

• XVS — $25 (Venus Protocol that forked from Compound, I am very bullish on it)

• FUD — $10 (Memecoin on SUI)

• POPCAT — $10 (Memecoin on SOL)

• Silly Dragon — $15 (Memecoin on SOL, looks pump potential as 2024 is year of the Dragon)

The remaining $70 I will keep liquid for now.

In January I have basically picked TIA to invest in which I think has the potential to get really big in the coming years and the others are meme coins which tend to pump very fast during bull cycles. As they are very risky plays I am only keeping small amounts in them.

Substantial Unlocks

APTOS

APT will, on February 11, release around 25 million tokens, or more than 7% of the token’s circulation supply, valued at $222 million at the current exchange rate. Layer-1 network Aptos is comparable to Sui originated from the Libra project on Facebook.

SAND

Next, on February 14, the Sandbox will release 205 million tokens, or 9% of the token’s circulating supply, valued at $88 million at the current exchange rate. The Sandbox is a metaverse marketplace where users may purchase digital land parcels that they can customise.

AVAX (Avalanche)

On February 21. The layer-1 network, which is aiming to reach 100,000 TPS, will release 9.5 million tokens, which, at current exchange rates, are valued at $344 million. The addition of the tokens will increase the total amount of unlocked AVAX tokens to 60% and represent 2.6% of the circulating supply.

OPTIMISM

Lastly, as this year is a leap year, February 28 rather than the last day of the month optimism will release 24 million tokens, which at current prices are valued at $72 million, or 2.5% of the Ethereum L2 network tokens in circulation.

Certain coins are garnering attention due to their potential as investments when the market transitions towards a long-term green phase. Notable altcoins include Conflux, Ronin, and Helium. These tokens are attractive investments for portfolios since they have unique qualities and potential upsides in the market.

1. HNT, or helium

In January, helium is aggressively rising and aiming to hit $8.00. December 2023 saw a bullish period for HNT, fueled by optimism around the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs. As a result, since early December, HNT’s market value has increased by $800 million.

HNT was trading at $5.6166 on January 3, despite seeing a significant decrease in January along with other altcoins. After that, on January 12, it increased by 32.6% to $7.4518. But on January 22, it fell 18.2% to $6.0899, then on January 29, it rose 30.2% to $7.9302.

In addition, HNT has had a consistent uptrend in the market, surpassing 82% of the top 100 coins with a 147% surge. Furthermore, it has continuously closed above its 200-day SMA. Moreover, it showed a favourable tendency with 16 green days out of the previous 30.

Helium wants to profit on the anticipated cryptocurrency market bull run in 2024. In a similar vein, spot Bitcoin ETF approvals are predicted to boost HNT’s trading activity in Q2 2024. The price of HNT could rise by 18.0% to $6.4952 as a result of this price hike. Helium has the potential to expand significantly because of its strong fundamentals and passionate crypto community. Partnerships with other networks may also raise HNT’s cost, which might reach $17.56 by 2024.

2. Conflux (CFX)

Investor interest surged after CFX and BlockBooster announced their alliance recently. Having said that, Conflux is moving forward with an additional big network development. Conflux (CFX) declared on January 30, 2024, that it would establish a Bitcoin L2 area on its network. The Conflux community is excited by this news, just like they were with the previous cooperation.

In contrast, CFX has had a price growth of 212% year to date, surpassing 88% of the top 100 coins. In addition, the currency has 16/30 green days and is above a 200-day simple moving average, both of which indicate a good trend. Its position in the cryptocurrency market is further strengthened by its strong liquidity, as measured by market capitalization.

3. The Huobi Token (HT)

Despite the market’s prognosis, Huobi Token is showing encouraging signals. After rising 6.01% during the day, HT closed at $2.97, up from its most recent low of $3.19. Investors are also optimistic about HT. Furthermore, the Fear & Greed index is above a 200-day simple moving average at 60.

Moving on to its performance in the market, Huobi Token is ranked 11th in the Exchange Tokens industry. Furthermore, based on market capitalization, it ranks 47th in the Layer 1 sector and 31st in Ethereum (ERC20) Tokens. As a result, HT keeps proving its durability in the industry.

The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI), calculated by analysing major indicators, is 59.47. Thus, this suggests a neutral position and possible short-term sideways movement. Furthermore, in the past 30 trading days, HT has seen 16 green days, or 53% favourable trading days. Furthermore, the 30-day volatility of Huobi Token is 11%, which is still rather low.

4. The TukTuk (eTukTuk)

The eTukTuk project has the potential to significantly alter the transport infrastructure of underdeveloped countries. eTukTuk is actively working to transform how people travel in these areas by providing blockchain technology, integrating electric vehicles and charging stations, and more.

Furthermore, by offering reasonably priced transport options, the $TUK token, which powers the eTukTuk ecosystem, has sparked a revolution in emerging economies. On the daily chart, Ronin consistently displays bullish signals, with significant growth over the past week, month, and quarter.

Furthermore, if demand remains strong, Ronin’s price could continue to rise towards $5.00, with resistance at $3.5000. However, failure to maintain above $2.5000 could lead to further declines. Ronin’s current price movement and technical indicators suggest an active bullish trend. In addition, it projects the potential for further gains as it demonstrates strength in the market.
