That in itself made me angry, I was extremely shortsighted and did not accept the idea that it would take time until I get good at something, my vision was: “tennis is just hit the racket on the ball, what is the secret?”.

Tennis is not even close to that, the sport is much more complex than it sounds and surprises everyone trying for the first time. That struck me and brought an extra motivation for me, to get well soon so I could win others.

I learned then, that practice is the best way to achieve perfection, and perfection is constant, infinite. I started training four days a week and was playing the more I could, with friends, family and family friends.

The results were apparent. In every game I felt myself stronger, my opponents realized this and over the years I became an opponent more and more difficult to beat.

When you publish a post, you'll have the option of sending it as a newsletter or storing it in the permanent & uncensorable Arweave.
