Mad Realities' short-term goal is to shoot a season of an interactive reality show co-created and co-owned by the entire community. In the long run, we need to explore the endless future of Web3 and entertainment programs. I came across this DAO by accident while browsing Twitter. His two founders are girls, active in the female tech and art circles in New York, and what caught my attention is that both founders are deeply involved in Constitution DAO, and one of them is one of the founders of Constitution DAO. However, in chronological order, Mad Realities comes first, followed by Constitutional DAO.

As early as late October, they started crowdfunding on Mirror, hoping to raise 150 ETH for the production of Season 0 by selling several NFT tickets at different prices. The fundraising was not very smooth, and only more than 40 were raised in a dozen days.

Although the fundraising speed was not fast, I was still impressed. Anyone can shout slogans, and it is not difficult to find people with specific backgrounds to recharge. But what impresses me very much about them is that even though the Constitution DAO was already red to purple at the time, they could attract a lot of traffic to their DAO as long as they brought a little stock in the Constitution DAO, but they didn't do that. . As a result, fundraising has remained stagnant.

Seeing that these two girls are doing such a decent job, I think this DAO is worthy of support, so I bought the most expensive ticket, verified the ticket and added it to the discord server. It is a semi-donation mentality. Everyone knows the NFT tickets on Mirror. They are not avatars or hype. Tickets are tickets.

After entering Discord, I found that I am not very active. After all, there are few people, and many people who want to contribute to the filming work that are too professional can not contribute, but I see someone doing the script work. The progress of fundraising is even more slow, and after a few weeks, it looks like it has only risen by more than ten ethers. And the time mentioned on the roadmap mentioned earlier will be missed, and it is estimated that it will be yellow. After that, I forgot about it, there were too many discords, and there was no way. . .

In a blink of an eye, one day I suddenly received a notice asking me to vote for the casting. I go? Didn't hang up? It turns out that people have been quietly advancing. Over time, a lot of work has been done, and the filming of Season 0 is about to start, and the progress of fundraising has also reached the goal.

Wait, casting? ? ? Beauty, director, unspoken rules, a bunch of evil thoughts flashed through my mind. It was later discovered that it was a polling corner. Of course, DAOs. So I went to take a look every other day, and saw a lot of beautiful candidates, as well as more funny candidates -_-

Just a word about the show itself.

Each issue has one host, one female guest, and four male guests. The four brothers have to express themselves in the session, one is eliminated at the end of each session, and the remaining one succeeds in holding hands. From the host, to the male protagonist to the female protagonist, all are voted by DAO members. Every episode is different. At the filming site, there will also be people filming the whole process of the live broadcast, and only DAO members can enter to watch and interact. I just watched the next episode before writing this post, and it was so confusing.

There will also be associations between different episodes, and many things will also be determined interactively with the community. In addition to casting, I can't introduce the DAO's involvement in the specific program production process in depth, because after all, except for the occasional vote, I don't really invest time to play in it, only know that community members are responsible for writing the script and so on.

There are many other ways to play outside of the show. For example, the tickets I bought can be used as a show-stopper -_-, but people are not in New York, so this right is useless. As for the specific details, it is not necessary to study so thoroughly now, because the future will definitely change. Nothing is uncertain, even whether this DAO can survive for a long time is very unknown.
