"Asilixi" is a term in the Yi language, meaning "our good friends," which reflects the strong cultural atmosphere of the local Yi ethnic group. The grassland has an average annual temperature ranging from 17°C to 22°C, making it an ideal destination for self-driving tours, summer retreats, and even archaeological research.

The grassland is located about 40 kilometers from Hezhang County and has an average altitude of 2,300 meters. It is 15 kilometers away from the Jiucai Ping Scenic Area. The area is famous for its "wind-blown grass with grazing cows and sheep" landscape. Major attractions include the Windy Ridge, Running Horse Plain, and Rhododendron Forest, offering breathtaking views of alpine grasslands.
