Firstofall, we have set up a swap system integrated directly into our platform, no need to look elsewhere. This is possible thanks to our partner OpenOcean who allows us to have this very convenient feature.

Next, the statistics dashboard has been updated to show ARB token information. Everything is available here.Wehavealsotaken the decision to reduce some of the payouts, notably those of BTC and ETH, both from 70% to 60% base rate. This decision is based on the desire to ensure a prosperous future for BLP by not abusing the rewards provided.

V3 is fast approaching, we will present you the upcoming elements very soon.

Action Plan

Hereisone of the problems we face, bad price feeds and Oracle failures.

With a product like ours it is very important to have the most powerful Oracle available, with Chainlink's low-latency solution being still under development we are currently using Pyth.

The second problem we encountered was the misuse of small trades, especially with some trading bots using low capital scalping strategies.

We first decided to raise the minimum amount required to make a trade to 25 USDC, to finally realize that it handicapped our traders preferring to take small positions.

To combine LP risk reduction and accessibility we have decided to set up 2 tier pool systems. To put it simply, this will allow us to test our changes on a restricted trading environment so that we don't affect everyone with our decisions (which are sometimes not the right ones). We evaluate our new products, we test, and we validate.

Buffer is our little baby and we are going to take it very far, we guarantee it!

Pyth Oracle Integration

Wechosethis solution for the reasons we mentioned above. This news means that the charts will be more accurate and we reduce the risk of potential pricing errors.

But this news comes with many others. Now that we have integrated Pyth :

• POL Pool that we introduced has been launched

• Base payout is 70% on all pairs

• Minimum timeframe reduced to 3 minutes

• Forex pairs are back

• Minimum trade size is 5 USDC

Changes are to be expected, on the way to perfection.

Introducing 1 Minute Binary Options, you can now execute your options with an expiration time of 1 minute, perfect for scalping.

Simplicity is the strength of our application and it is thanks to this improvement that we are extending the trading possibilities, very short term scalping is now invited to the party. One minute straight, not a second longer, Up or Down you decide.

This feature is currently only available on BTC/USD and ETH/USD pairs, using the same payout ratio as usual, 70% base payout and up to 84%, using your ARBs or USDCs you know the drill!

Documentation Update

We have to admit, Buffer may be very easy to use but the workings behind it are very complex.

That's why we've decided to update and simplify our documentation in order to make things easier for you (and for all our future supporters).

The occasion for us to give a small blow of revival to this documentation which started to be obsolete. So if you are planning to rack your brains, go and have a look at the Buffer Finance V2 Documentation.

You will find information about the two types of PLB, RPAs, fresh, esBFR, so if you do not know or little about all this we invite you to sit back and read this post.

Oh and we almost forgot, regarding the app, we added the possibility to use Heikin-Ashi candles on your charts, when you change pairs the asset you selected last is chosen by default and the share function now shows which asset you used for this trade (USDC or ARB).

ARB Vault

A lot of things to say about this new ARB vault, actually this pool is very coveted and after warning you about the maximum capacity of this one, the pool is 99.86% full, hard blow for those who were left out (no hard feelings).

At the moment the APR is 24.90% and for the first week of implementation of this pool, 945 ARB have been distributed among the LPs, which represents 15% of the fees generated this first week.

The amount distributed depends on your multiplier points, you can find out about that right here. And if you are a little curious follow the harvesting of the generated fees in ARB right here.

Revest Finance Optopi mint

It's a bit late that we can announce the opening of the mint phase for the whitelisted Revest Finance community, it looks like the party is never over!

$ARB Trade, Earn, LP

As you may know Arbitrum has decided to launch its own governance token, it has also been decided that an allocation will be made to the major protocols of the ecosystem and we are delighted to announce that we are eligible for an amount of 257450 ARB which will be transferred to our treasury.

We will soon be able to reveal our strategy and the way we will use these precious tokens.

But the most important thing we have to tell you is the implementation of several uses around $ARB. Firstly, we have decided to add ARB as an input and payout token on your trades. We have also set up an ARB vault currently allowing you to generate a 30.53% APR, the APR will vary with each one’s deposit & withdrawals, 70% of the fees generated from ARB trading will then be distributed among LPs.

The rewards are given to you in aBLP (an escrowed BLP derivative) which you can then vest.). Hurry up and place your tokens because the vault has a maximum capacity of 1,000,000.00 ARB and is 31.87% full.

As you know, some unfortunate events took place this week, among them we can find the USDC depeg. It turns out that things are back to normal and the price is stable again. In response to this event we decided to set up an insurance fund for our liquidity providers.

The USDC pool is still available though, it is currently 64% full and allows you to generate 56.87% APR, you can deposit here.

Factor DAO partnership

To put this in context, in the last few days we have heard a lot about Factor DAO all around the Arbitrum space, simply put Factor is a modular DeFi asset management platform.

This collab will allow Factor users to utilize our products, create new use cases for our products while directing a large TVL flow to our respective projects. It is also planned to implement one-click access to $BLP strategies vaults, allowing users to benefit from a revenue stream generated by the fees collected.

Mainnet Launch

Among the ton of news this week, the best of all is the one we've officially launched on mainnet, one more step in the direction of democratization. Both crypto and forex trading are available.

Along with this launch:

• BLP-enabled trading, 100K USDC has been added to BLP from POL to increase the max trade size further

• Optopi NFT payout boost added automatically

• More trading fee rewards for USDC vault depositors

Optopi Update

Good news, the first 2222 Optopi NFT have been minted, as you already know, these nice little octopuses are far from being useless, indeed the fact of holding one of these NFT allows you to get a boost on your trades. There are different rarities and the rarer yours is the bigger the boost it gives.

Moreover we decided to increase this payout boost, here are the new rates:

• 🦈 Silver: 2% ↗️ 2.5%

• 🐝 Gold: 4% ↗️ 5%

BLP Pool cap update

Following our deployment on the mainnet, we have decided to increase the size of our BLP pool, the ceiling can now exceed 1 million USDC. We first decided to increase the pool to 1.5 million and finally set the cap at 2 million.

This also allows our friends at Revest Finance to open a pool for their users.

BLP providers rewards

The long awaited rewards for BLP providers are now available! We have opened a pool allowing you to deposit liquidity and generate 42.32% APR on it with a maximum capacity set at 500,000 USDC, it is currently almost full so keep an eye on it if you want to participate.

For your information, the pool size is capped up to full mainnet, partner pools are included in this capping.

So how does it work? To put it simply, if you deposit liquidity in this pool you place yourself against all trades made on the platform, you are collecting 70% of the settlement fees. If the net profit of the traders is positive, the people who took position in this pool can experience possible losses.
