But now, it’s time for the next step.

Starting this week, I’ll be moving this daily blog into a weekly newsletter on LinkedIn.

It’ll still have the same structure. Personal, real, and practical.

But it’ll give me more space to go deeper on:

Let’s talk about the engine room.

For the last 12 months, I’ve been knee-deep in AI agent builders testing, building, refining, and deploying them into real businesses.

And through all the trial and error, there are two platforms I keep coming back to:

→ n8n

→ Lindy AI

These two are the sweet spot for me balancing control, flexibility, and ease of use. They allow me to build actual agents, not just automations. Agents that take tasks, think, reason, and execute.

But what really brings them to life?

→ MCP (Model Context Protocol)

MCP is the bridge that connects agents to your real-world systems like Outlook, Slack, CRMs, you name it. It’s what allows Claude or GPT to do things, not just say things.

With MCP + Docker + Claude, I’ve been able to deploy lightweight agents that run on my local environment, process tasks in context, and deliver actual outcomes. From generating daily updates to handling meeting prep, these aren’t just fancy prompts, they’re full workflows.

And then there’s Relevance AI underrated, but powerful. Especially when you need fast custom vector pipelines, or are working with internal knowledge bases and want retrieval that’s snappy and smart.

What’s been most effective?

Here’s my personal stack for results:

• Ideation + Testing: Claude Code (honestly, elite for prototyping)

• Workflow logic: n8n or Make (depends on the build)

• Agent mind: Lindy (great for long-running agents or swarm setups)

• Real-world action: MCP (connects it all)

• Scaling / retrieval: Relevance AI

Most people think they need some huge platform or a 6-figure budget to get started with AI agents.

You don’t. You just need to:

→ Understand your workflow

→ Start small

→ Plug the right tools together

The best systems I’ve built didn’t come from a grand plan, they came from tinkering, testing, and improving as I went.

Step 2: Layer in Automation & Agents

Once you’re comfortable chatting with the models, step it up.

This is where the fun starts.

→ N8N for custom workflows that glue different apps together.

→ Lindy for building agents that handle specific tasks.

→ Google Vertex or Azure AI Foundry if you’re going enterprise-level.

→ Relevance AI for custom vector workflows and more nuanced data handling.

These tools let you go beyond answers and actually start automating real work.

Imagine:

• Emails summarised and categorised

• CRM entries updated without lifting a finger

It’s not sci-fi. It’s happening right now.

Step 3: Dive into MCP

Here’s where things get spicy.

When you’re ready to plug AI directly into apps like Outlook, Slack, or your CRM, that’s where MCP (Model Context Protocol) comes in.

Think of MCP as the bridge between AI and your business tools.

It’s how you turn conversations into real-world actions across your stack.

Instead of just getting an answer, AI can now:

→ Book a meeting

→ Update a record

→ Send a follow-up email

That’s the difference between chat and systems.

It’s easy to get lost in the noise.

New tools pop up every five minutes.

But if you’re serious about AI, remember this:

The real power isn’t just in chat, it’s in systems that work for you.

Start small. Test stuff.

…I’d be sitting on a pretty solid bag of Bitcoin right now.

I get it.

The headlines scream about AI taking over the world.

But let me tell you what I’ve actually seen over the last 6–12 months:

AI isn’t coming to take your job.

They absolutely might.

Here’s the difference.

And the biggest wins I’ve seen?

Here’s something else I’ve noticed.

Most of the business owners and teams I talk to?

They want to keep the team they have and take them to greater heights.

Back in January, I left my corporate job with a simple plan:

Burnout doesn’t always announce itself.

Sometimes it creeps in slowly.

And if you don’t pay attention, it can take more from you than a few quiet days off ever will.

This isn’t a story of struggle.

It’s a reminder that stepping away is part of the process.

Clarity comes in the quiet.

So does resilience.

So does creativity.

Take care of yourself.

The mission can wait 48 hours.

About a week ago, I had one of the biggest meetings of my career.

A face-to-face with someone on the Australian Rich 200 list, a seasoned operator and someone with quite the resume.

We sat down in Adelaide to walk through what we’re building at Designless.ai:

Real AI agents.

Built with intention.

It wasn’t just a pitch. It was a conversation.

Fast forward to now and I just received an email from him.

Not just saying “nice to meet you.”

But outlining six areas where he sees AI adding value in his group of companies.

He wants to explore them all.

We haven’t signed a deal yet, we still need to scope things out and design a partnership agreement. But the opportunity? It’s real.

And that moment, reading that email made me reflect:

Six months ago, I wouldn’t have imagined being here.

Pitching one of the most successful business people in the country.

Let alone getting a positive response.

But this door didn’t open randomly.

It opened because someone in my network believed in what we’re building.

It opened because I kept showing up.

It opened because I stopped trying to have everything “ready” and just started sharing.

But the contrast between the two really stuck with me because it says so much about how companies are approaching AI right now.

The first was with an international team who came prepared.

They’d done the homework.

They’d mapped their internal systems.

And they knew exactly what they wanted AI to do, not just today, but over time.

Their roadmap was clear:

→ Phase 1: Let AI read internal data, summarise it, and deliver those insights to the team at key moments to drive better decision-making.

→ Phase 2: Let AI make those decisions — and start executing them with minimal human input.

Simple. Strategic. Thoughtful.

It’s a perfect example of how AI should be approached:

Start small, build in phases, and use data to drive better outcomes, not just dashboards.

The second conversation? Totally different.

This team were seasoned experts in their industry.

They knew parts of their operations were dragging.

Manual processes, slow approvals, clunky communication, all things we hear every day.

But they weren’t sure how AI could help.

So we whiteboarded it.

Mapped the bottlenecks.

Walked through their day-to-day.

And then came the question, a tester...

“Show us something you’ve built in the last 30 days that will blow us away.”

Safe to say… I did.

And now?

We’ve booked an on-site workshop for next week.

We’ll be meeting internal champions, running discovery, and showing real AI in action.

Here’s the point:

One team came with a plan.

The other came with curiosity.

Both are valid.

Both are powerful.

And both are going to walk away with better systems.

Because the tech is just one piece.

6 months ago, I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me this.

Next week, I’ll be sitting down with someone on the Top 200 Rich List of Australia. Talking all things AI, business, and how we might work together.

Not because I chased some VC hype.

Not because I posted some viral thread.

But because I’ve been building day by day and backing myself.

And more importantly because someone in my network opened the door.

That’s the part people forget.

Sometimes, the biggest opportunities don’t come from a cold DM or a pitch deck.

They come from showing up consistently, doing good work, and building real relationships.

I wasn’t expecting this intro.

But when it came, I was ready for it.

It’s funny how things happen when you decide to go all in.

For me, that meant:

• Spending nights learning the tools.

• Taking uncomfortable calls.

• Making decisions without all the answers.

And more than anything, trusting that if I kept showing up, something would click.

Let’s unpack what it is, why it matters, and how you can try it today.

So… what is Claude Code?

Claude’s always been solid at general reasoning, summarising, writing, answering with nuance.

But now, it’s built to handle complex technical workflows, too.

This isn’t just “help me fix a bug.”

This is Claude reading through thousands of lines of code across multiple files, understanding architecture, generating clean functions, and even offering critiques.

It’s like having a quiet second dev on the team, one that’s fast, consistent, and always curious.

Here’s what it can do now (better than ever):

Read full repos + suggest improvements

Translate logic from one language to another

Help debug + explain broken code line by line

Spin up entire micro-tools from scratch with clean code + comments

Understand instructions across multiple files / modules / folders

That last one is huge, a lot of LLMs choke on file context.

Claude’s pushing through that.

Why this matters (even if you’re not technical)

Even if you’re not writing Python daily, this still matters.

Because it opens up a new class of tools:

→ Need a prototype built? Claude can scaffold it.

→ Want to understand your dev team’s code changes? Claude can walk you through it.

→ Thinking about building a SaaS or workflow agent? Claude can generate a working MVP with clean logic, not just janky code.

This is AI that understands structure, not just syntax.

It’s the beginning of serious co-development.

Try this:

Here’s something to test right now (works great with Claude 3 Opus via Poe or Anthropic directly):

1. Paste in a full repo or codebase you’ve been working on

2. Ask it:

“Can you rewrite this as a cleaner component?”
