Apple has written to the US Senate Judiciary Committee to challenge a claim about app sideloading. Apple insists that its argument that the technology is a malware carrier is reasonable.

In a letter to members of the Senate on February 3, apple said that the open market law would harm the safety and privacy of users. Sideloading “will enable malicious people to escape Apple’s privacy and security protection by distributing applications without key privacy and security checks”.
