We have been building Web 2 productivity software for years. In our prior ventures, we experimented with various tactics to reduce hierarchy and empower autonomous decision-making by the team. We had some success but it never felt quite right. We couldn’t find a viable way to materialize the decentralized future of work we envisioned until we saw Web 3.

Separately, Web 2 centralizes the wealth created by the platform (like Facebook & Google) but it does not reward the users that were crucial in making it better and vital in making it GROW! That didn’t sit right with us. We wanted to make sure that EVERYONE who joins our community can share in the wealth created by the platform.
