How transferLock Works

To maintain a fair and orderly token distribution, the tokens will undergo a lock period and vesting schedule as described below:

1. Complete Lock for 1 Year:

   - During this initial period, the tokens cannot be sold or transferred.

2. 3-Year Linear Vesting:

   - After the 1-year lock, the tokens will gradually vest over the following 3 years, meaning they will become available for sale or transfer in a controlled manner.

   - The vesting rate will be equal to 1/36th of the remaining tokens per month. This ensures a consistent and predictable unlocking process for the benefit of all stakeholders.

transferLock for Team Members

For team members, token unlocks will continue beyond the first year only if they remain employed. The unlocking process will occur on a monthly basis, provided that the team member is still employed on the first day of each month.

What’s New

We’ve made a strategic shift and are now using Hedgey Finance to distribute locked tokens to both our team and investors. In August 2023, you can anticipate token movements via Hedgey as the locked tokens for investors and team members are distributed.

Why This Change

There are a couple of key reasons behind this decision:

1. Streamlined Process: There is much less coordination required. Specifically, we no longer have to coordinate with entities using custodial wallets, making the process more efficient.

2. Stellar Support from Hedgey: Our experience with the Hedgey team has been exceptional. They have been responsive and have provided invaluable assistance throughout our transition, making them a joy to work with.

What Remains Unchanged

While we have introduced a new distribution method, certain fundamentals remain the same:

• The amount of tokens designated for distribution remains unchanged.

• The lock timing and the vesting schedules associated with these tokens are still consistent with our previous plans and announcements as described in the first part of this post.

Token Distribution:

70% of allocated $COLLAB will be used as Rewards for players who use their CollablandFly in battle. • Holders will need to be verified through Collab.Land in order to receive their soulbound Collab.landFly. Having their Collab.landFly will get the full access to the BattleFly ecosystem where they can win in game prizes as well as other tokens like $MAGIC and $ARB.

What is the timeline for distribution?

Timeline for the distribution will be mid August. We have a free to play version of the game launching in the coming weeks so this will allow the most users to access the competition.

How many users is this distribution projected to incentivize?

With allowing access to all top 100 projects this will allow thousands of players to access BattleFly with their CollabLandFly and compete for $COLLAB.

What is the benefit of this distribution to your community?

Community members will be able to play BattleFly for free while competing for $COLLAB as well as in game rewards and prizes.

We will be promoting the usage of Collab.Land verifications for users to mint their soul bound CollabLandFly. Once players have their first Fly they can earn $MAGIC as well as compete in events for $gFly ontop of the $COLLAB competition.

How are you planning to distribute the tokens?

Using the Flowscored tool - users would sign into a landing page, connecting their dapper wallet and a wallet that can hold Collab.Land tokens. The points they get for activity => Tokens rewards

Up to 3 months to build and launch the app for activity measuring. Window then open for 2 months. 1 month for distribution. Total timeline to distribute all tokens to community members is 6 months.

We would hope to clear it sooner though but would like a buffer for potential unknown hurdles or blockers given we'd be working with 3rd parties (flowscore) and be across chains.

Potentially but too early to tell. So for now probably unlikely - perhaps a special role for COLLAB holders in our Discord is one easy option.

By involving one of the largest Web3 communities - NBA Top Shot - we expect to see 1000s of new COLLAB holders who will be motivated to learn more.

This community is less Web3-centric than other communities and are from a different blockchain, so otherwise might not be engaged or involved.

What is the benefit of this distribution? To Collab.Land:

The benefit to Collab.Land in our method of distribution is that the tokens will guaranteed end up in the hands of active users. Rather than distributing the tokens to all holders and inevitably having tokens being lost to dead/inactive wallets, it would be best the tokens end up with individuals still active in the Web3 space where they may circulate or hold it based on their own due diligence.

Additional Notes

1. The decision to go with this method of distribution was made based on a majority consensus of Asuna Holders. We set up a Google Sheet for a week which gave all Holders a chance to voice their opinion on how this distribution should be handled. We provided the various options and examples that Collab.Land provided and the vast vast majority of responses pointed out to this method of distribution.

2. We expect it to be done within a week of receiving the tokens, however it could be sooner if the team comes to a consensus regarding how we would best reward holders who are to receive a bonus amount.

3. Active holders were based on holders who participated in our Premint to register their wallets and either participated in our discord or utilized our Regeneration system feature. We gave all holders over a week to register on it and asked they spread the news on discord and Twitter, to which many did as there are many mini Asuna communities out there both on Discord and Twitter groups. We believe that one week is an adequate amount of time for someone who is still marginally invested in the Asuna to have seen the messages we posted on the discord pinging all holders time to register on the Premint. There was also no additional requirements other than simply registering on the wallet that holds their Asuna NFT. Through this process, we had over 350 registrations, many of which hold more than one Asuna NFT.

Before I address the details of the distribution, let me explain why we are combining BrainCell with Collab.Land. 

BrainCell is a community management tool that we have developed. Community members can earn BrainCell by entering commands, posting on forums, helping others, etc. If community members verify their NFT ownership through Collab.Land, they can earn even more BrainCell. That is why we want to promote the use of BrainCell in this $Collab token distribution.

The distribution details are as follows:

First Distribution Method: Staggered Distribution (70%)

BrainCell will be allocated 80% of the $Collab token, and will be sent out over four quarters. 45% of the tokens will be allocated through a staggered distribution formula over three quarters - 10% in Q2, 15% in Q3, 20% in Q4, and 25% in Q1 of next year. Community members can exchange their BrainCell in batches.

*For example, in Q2, if there are 100 BrainCell participating in the distribution, these 100 BrainCell will distribute the 10% tokens for Q2.

In order to more effectively promote the use of Collab.Land in the ZombieClub community, we plan to open up more than 10 types of NFT authentication related to Art Blocks and other PFP-type NFT authentication, in addition to the current dozen types of NFT authentication. How will the tokens be distributed? OliveX is a company that focuses on fitness games in Web3 and so with that spirit in mind, our token allocation proposal will also be designed based on gamified mechanics to encourage activations and engagement by the Fitness Metaverse community members.

The tokens will be distributed based on the type of NFT and number of each collection held, participation in leaderboard through OliveX’s move-and-own game - Dustland Runner - and Crew3 quest platform, as well as dedication to serving the community.

The contest would be around a positive community message and would include Collab.Land awareness.

All active holders who participate in the contest would be eligible for the drop.

How many internal contributors are there? And how are they determined?

We haven’t got a fixed number for this, but we will determine mainly based on the seniority and time supporting the project, but also considering a high activity and contribution, mainly on discord but specially during previous activities, Q&A, AMAs or beta testing phases for example.

Those will be the main basis, but we’ll need to check they still support the project and are active in it, so we’ll proceed to do an activity claim for the participation in the division of the respective % of the tokens. What are the future plans for this 10% in the treasury? That 10% will have 2 functions:

1. Serve a safety fund in case some late claim for a distribution with a solid basis appear after we close the actual claiming period and/or distribution; therefore, to prevent and prepare for the eventuality we leave a partial % in case a situation like this takes place.

2. After the complete distribution and after the safety reclaim period finishes, the remaining funds we’ll be used for high activity users on the launch of the new platform of our project during a series of different activities; mainly through interaction with the project, the new platform and activity on discord.

How will the tokens be distributed?

Tokens will be airdropped to users that have completed certain tasks in the Kyoko and Collab.Land communities through the competition introduced below. Tokens will be distributed in higher amounts to the top 15 scorers (event winners) and a base amount will be distributed to all other event participants. Base amounts will be weighted and therefore adjusted by user event placement to incentivize users to engage in the event to the fullest of their abilities.

We will be using a regression to assign rewards. For the top 15 scorers, there will be base rewards. This will be a combination of $KYOKO + $COLLAB tokens.

Specifically, 143,333 $COLLAB tokens would be dedicated for distribution among the top 15 scorers in varying amounts according to their ranking.

That leaves a pool of 1,328,169 $COLLAB that will be distributed to ALL event participants that meet the minimum criteria -- in this case, completing a minimal amount of quests.

According to our anticipated event results (these figures are based upon the real finalized results from Kyoko's previously completed event in January '23), we expect this to be ~30k qualifying participants. This includes the top 15 scorers as well; therefore, it would be ~30k users that $COLLAB tokens would be distributed to. Each individual participant would receive an amount according to their weighted share of event points (“XP”).

Mechanism for distribution:

$COLLAB tokens will be distributed as partial rewards for our upcoming product launch event. It is important to mention that this will be a major launch event for Kyoko and we plan to also incorporate sponsored PR and other external promotions to boost industry awareness for this campaign.

Kyoko will hold an 8-week event that corresponds with one of our upcoming product launches. During the event, Kyoko users will be incentivized to conduct on-chain transactions, which will then be verified using Collab.Land. We will also reward $KYOKO token stakers and holders of the Kyoko Pawn NFT collection – all of whom will be verified by Collab.Land.

In addition to this, we will require users seeking to participate in the event to join the Collab.Land Discord, follow/like/RT on Twitter, follow Medium, and any other strategic platforms that would be beneficial to Collab.Land. Many of our community members also run their own independent DAOs and communities, and we would create an additional task for users to claim extra points in exchange for integrating Collab.Land into their Discords.

While this campaign would be executed under the premise of Kyoko’s product launch, it will heavily rely on Collab.Land verification.

Through this campaign, we would bring higher visibility to the Collab.Land platform, incentivize community leaders to integrate it into their own personal communities, and drive individual users to the platform to verify on-chain transactions.

Timeline:

8 weeks. This will keep the Kyoko community engaged while also driving mid-term users to the Collab.Land platform for verification requests with increasing frequency (this will reinforce trust and goodwill in the Collab.Land verification platform) as well as general awareness through a growth campaign event.

We have ~32k users on Discord and 26k Twitter followers. Our previous mainnet launch event had over 60k participants that conducted and verified on-chain transactions as part of the event tasks. This was without sponsored promotion.

We conservatively project there to be a 2.5-3.5x bump in participation due to our upcoming promotional campaigns, which will include sponsored PR releases, sponsored advertisements, AMA tours, co-sponsorship with our investors (Animoca, Morningstar Ventures, YGGSEA, M6, and more.)

This leads us to project a participation baseline of ~150k-210k wallet addresses. After screening for cybil attacks and other bots, we’ve historically found an average ACTIVE user base of ~20%, which puts our true wallet distribution base at ~30k-42k.

How will the tokens be distributed?

The claimed Token will be distributed to the following scheme   50% Community incentive for past behavior.

Tokens will be distributed to all community members participating in the Tusima Testnet who used the Collab.Land Discord Bot to claim their tester role before February 14, 2023, as an incentive to thank you for using both platforms.

40% Community incentive for sustained behavior.

Tokens will be distributed to all community members participating in the Tusima Testnet who used the Collab.Land Discord Bot to claim their Tester role after February 15th, 2023, as a thank you for using both platforms as well as an incentive to continue.

10% Community incentive for active contributors future behavior

Tokens will be distributed to community members who rank top in TusimaDAO contribution points in the future, as well as community members who use Collab.Land Discord Bot to claim other roles, and other Collab.Land related future contributions.

This distribution will not happen all at once and is expected to take around 6 months. Moreover, with over 10,000 users set to receive a small allocation, it should not cause any significant sell pressure.

Timeline:

The allocation for past behavior will be distributed as soon as contracts are ready. The distribution timeframe will depend on the rate at which users claim tokens.

To encourage ongoing user engagement, the allocations for sustained behavior and future behavior will be distributed over a period of six months in one- to two-month intervals. This will include creating snapshots at regular intervals and adjusting rewards and incentives based on user behavior. The process will be semi-automated at the contract level. 

User group being targeted:

The distribution plan targets both Tusima community members who have already used Collab.Land in conjunction with TusimaDAO, as well as users who may be entirely new to Collab.Land. The aim is to incentivize them to use Collab.Land and contribute more actively.

How many users is this distribution projected to incentivize?

More than 68,676 members. 

There have been a total of 68,676 members participating in the Tusima Testnet testing so far. However, only 12,980 community members have claimed their Tester roles using the Collab.Land Discord Bot in TusimaDAO. This means that a significant number of Testers have not yet claimed their roles via the Collab.Land Discord Bot. We will continue to incentivize them to do so.

How will this distribution incentivize usage and adoption of Collab.Land?

The distribution should reach a wide range of community members (as noted above) and incentivize them to use Collab.Land. Members who have already used the Collab.Land Discord Bot on TusimaDAO to claim their roles are eligible for rewards.

Additionally, rewards are offered to members who have not claimed their roles, incentivizing them to participate in the use of Collab.Land. This will increase exposure and encourage users to continue using Collab.Land in the future.

Tusima does not currently have a token and can’t comment on future incentives. But all users who are allocated airdrop rewards are the recipients of TusimaDAO SBT (TSBT). TSBT represents the contribution of TusimaDAO, and there will be corresponding incentives and rights in the future.

How will the tokens be distributed?

The tokens will be distributed as following:

15% - Will go to exodia community members that hold at least one Exodia Emblem NFT but not all five. 4,660 addresses total.

20% - Will go to exodia community members that hold all five Exodia Emblem NFTs. 847 addresses total.

25% - Will go to exodia community members that hold the Exodia Elite NFT. There are 294 addresses total holding 500 NFTs.

15% - Will go to the Exodia Treasury where it will be used in order to claim an active role in the Collab.Land DAO and to fund future giveaways in the Exodia and ShareMint operations.

25% - Will be distributed as rewards in a web3 referral program on ShareMint aimed at incentivizing the usage of mini apps on the Collab.Land marketplace, including the ShareMint mini app.

Mechanism for distribution:

The Exodia community will be able to claim their tokens by using our own smart contract. They will be able to claim it from the SC exactly 3 weeks after Exodia will be getting the tokens.

The portion used as rewards for the ShareMint referral program will be distributed to affiliates that successfully refer communities to use mini apps. The amount distributed per day will be decided in collaboration with the Collab.Land team as a joint miniapp should be built prior.

Exodia is fine with receiving the 25% of the tokens dedicated to a sharemint affiliate campaign after a discussion with the Collab.Land team have been made

The tokens will be claimable by the exodia community for 30 days. They will be able to claim it when the smart contracts goes live exactly 3 weeks after the tokens will be received. After the ShareMint mini app is added to the Collab.Land marketplace, the claim period will be defined in collaboration with the Collab.Landd team.
