Create Layer's Create Round 1 Campaign

Create Layer is live on Farcaster with our first Create Round campaign! This is a great chance for all of you creators to showcase your talents and earn rewards. Participate to win from a pool of 30,000 $DEGEN tokens. Here's how to get involved.

1. Create Content: Create any type of content about Create Layer or our mascot Picatso. This can include threads, art, memes, videos, animations, etc.

2. Post on Farcaster: Share your content on the /createlayer channel on Farcaster.

3. Mention $CREATE: Include $CREATE in your post to qualify for rewards consideration.

If your content meets the above instructions and @createlayer or @createpicatso likes your post, you will receive $DEGEN tokens. Have fun and create engaging, high-quality, creative content to increase your chances.

How are rewards determined?
Throughout the round, rounds collects the likes from the @createlayer and @createpicatso to determine winners. Once the round ends, the rewards for any particular submission is calculated as follows: RewardPool / NumberOfValidLikes ∗ NumberOfLikesSubmissionReceived.

How do I claim the rewards?
Winners can claim rewards through round frames or at rounds.wtf/rewards.

How long will the round run for?
Our inaugural Create Round will run from July 15th to July 21st. You can track the countdown to the end of the round in our rounds page.

Will there be more rounds?
This is just the beginning. As our community grows, so will our reward pool, offering even more opportunities for creators to earn and engage.

Creator's Guide to Using Create Layer's Proof of Create

Create Layer's Proof of Create (POC) is now live in Beta. During this period, creators are handpicked and onboarded onto the platform in batches. Eventually, everyone will have the opportunity to join. This guide will walk you through the process of creating content as a creator and explain how everything works.

1. Visit the Create Layer website and connect your X account to get started.

   

2. Navigate to the Create app and click the "Create" button. If you're lacking inspiration, check out the theme of the day for ideas.

   

3. If you're unsure what image to attach to your post, you can generate one using AI. Currently, three modules are available: Dall-E, Hugging Face and Stable Diffusion.

   

4. To mint your post as an NFT that can be collected on X, mention @createlayer in your post with an attached image. Currently, only posts with images are supported. GIFs, videos, and text-only posts are not yet supported.

   

5. Once posted, collectors can start collecting your post by mentioning @createlayer in the comments. You will earn points for every comment; more comments mean more points. You can also comment on your post to mint a copy of your NFT.

   

6. Your post will be available for collecting for 24 hours. After this period, collectors can return to the platform to mint your post into an NFT. The NFT will be viewable on marketplaces that support Base NFT collections.

   

• NFTs: To turn your X post into an NFT, you need to attach an image. NFTs created are ERC1155. The number of copies of each ERC1155 is equivalent to the number of comments with @createlayer on the X post. You'll have to manually refresh metadata if the image doesn't show up on the NFT.

• Comment Limit: Only one reply per user per post is counted and awarded points.

• Endorsements: Posts or comments with endorsements of any other token, $cashtag or project #hashtag will be discarded and not rewarded with points.

• Leaderboard: Top creators and collectors will be featured on the leaderboard and rewarded with multiple boosts and surprise airdrops.

Your referral code is your username and is case-sensitive. For each friend who joins, you will receive extra bonus points. The more friends you refer, the more points you will gain.

Create Layer is developing multiple decentralized applications (dApps) and modules, with the first one now live on Base - Proof of Create (PoC).

PoC allows creators to seamlessly bring their content on-chain by merely posting on X. One of the significant steps towards mass adoption is to reduce the mental effort required to engage with on-chain activities, both for creators and consumers.

With PoC, community members, fans, or private group chats can collect creators’ creation into NFTs by commenting on the post and be rewarded with points.

PoC operates on a seasonal module, with Beta launching today featuring 30 creators. As we progress, more creators will be onboarded, and additional features will be introduced.

1. Visit the Create Layer Website and connect your X account.

2. Connect any wallet that supports the Base network. We recommend using the Coinbase wallet, which also gives you a 2x boost on points.

3. Click on the Collect button to explore all creations posted by creators that you can collect.

4. Comment @createlayer on creators’ posts within 24 hours of the post being made. Earn points every time you collect.

5. After 24 hours, return to the Create Layer website to mint the creations you have collected into NFTs. Earn points every time you mint NFTs.

6. Your collections can be seen on MagicEden and other Base-compatible marketplaces. Eventually, creators and the community will be able to view and trade collections directly on the Create Layer website.

To further enhance discoverability and distribution in Web3, our goal is to bring creator identities on-chain and gamify these identities with various features.
