An unexpected dive into the metaverse, within the past few months we have seen many companies enter the metaverse and now we have WingStop! Expect some more news regarding their own NFTs as well as that seems to be a part of their future plans.

Just like WingStop, CVS is entering the metaverse as well. Getting ahead of the game puts them at a good spot with many competitors lacking behind. Their plans are not fully confirmed, excited to see what they come up with.

This week, we saw a group of hackers demand NVIDIA to provide faster cryptocurrency mining speeds to their GPUs. In return, the hackers would not release stolen data from NVIDIA including email addresses and login credentials for more than 71,000 of NVIDIA’s employees. This news was unexpected and NVIDIA has yet to respond.

Pixelmon has been one of the biggest and most hyped NFT projects in the recent months. Their mint was last month and raised over $70 million for the project. After the disappointing reveal of their NFTs (like the one above) they received absorbent amounts of backlash about their project.

However, the owner of the project later tweeted explaining that reveal as NFTs was not loaded in correctly and that the team did not anticipate how they would turn out. He also released images of what the actual in-game characters look like:

Clearly these images look substantially better, however, this “oopsies” from the Pixelmon team has definitely landed them in some hot water.

After the OpenSea hack last week, one of the affected users,Timothy McKimmy, who was the owner of BAYC#3475. His NFT was unknowingly sold for 0.01 ETH (equivalent to roughly $30). Immediately after, the hacker who purchased this sale resold for the NFT for 99 ETH (equivalent to roughly $250,000) leaving McKimmy with nothing. McKimmy has since filed a complaint in Texas court, as this story develops I’m sure you guys are excited as we are about this one!

It’s too early to tell if Enjin is a shitcoin, but it has a lot of potential.

Keep reading and I’ll share what Enjin does, what Jumpnet and Efinity are, the 5 steps of the Enjin coin, if it can be staked, its proof of authority crazy concept, and 6 worries you should be aware of.

According to the white paper HERE Enjin is the largest gaming community creation platform online. They have created a variety of assets that connect gaming with NFT’s.

Enjin is a software that allows users and designers the ability to create NFT’s for gaming. In case you have been living under a rock and don’t know what an NFT is it’s “rare shit” that you can own online. The nerdy name is None Fungible token (it’s unique shit).

The cool thing is Enjin has created a bunch of stuff for its network.

Enjin has a marketplace where users can trade NFT’s. Right now, the leading marketplace for NFT’s is Opensea. Opensea has had some trouble in the past and there are scams on the marketplace, if you want to learn more about this you can click on the link HERE.

They have created the Enjin Wallet that allows someone to hold and manage a variety of crypto assets.

Enjin also has something known as Jumpnet, which offers transactions without “dreaded” gas fees. You could think of it as a private party on the Ethereum blockchain. Instead of many transactions being recorded there is just 1 large one (which saves everyone money).

They are also created Efinity that is a cross-chain blockchain that runs on Polkadot. If you’re not sure what the hell Polkadot is it’s an interesting project that looks to connect many blockchains together.

You could think of it as a dating show such as The Bachelor, except their blockchains, not people. You can learn more about Polkadot from this post HERE I made.

This might just blow your mind but this Efinity cross-chain has its own token called EFI or Efinity token (I know crazy stuff).

They also have developed something known as Beam. Beam basically sends NFT’s and crypto to other people (like you beamed it).

You would scan a QR code and then you would receive the blockchain assets immediately if someone wanted to send them to you. In case you don’t know what a QR code is it’s a crazy symbol that you take a picture of with your phone.

You have to admit they did create some cool shit right? (Hey, shit is the theme of this post).

The purpose of the Enjin Coin (ENJ) is to transact in their ecosystem.

Out of the total supply of 1 billion Enjin Coins, 853 million are already in circulation. If a game uses the Enjin coin to create its own digital assets then that would lock up the Enjin coin taking it out of circulation.

When coins are locked up then this can be great news for the price. It’s almost like reducing the supply of it and a lower supply and higher demand means the price can increase (good news if you own it).

Enjin coins can be staked using Efinity cross chained that is linked to the Polkadot network. When you stake Enjin coins (JENJ) you would be paid in Efinity tokens (EFI).

Enjin uses the token JENJ token, which is an ERC20 token that runs on the Ethereum blockchain. An ERC20 token stands for Ethereum Request for Comment and I’m not sure what 20 means. It’s like Wordpress for building a website that makes it easy for wallets and exchanges to take it.

Enjin uses something known as Jumpnet for transactions. What is crazy is Jumpnet uses something called proof of authority, which is different than proof of work or stake. Blockchain really is based on “skin in the game” meaning you have to risk something.

How you would risk your reputation is by staking your identity. Validators need to be verified, trusted, and picked by the network, there is a small validator group.

A validator just validates the block and all the transactions are true based on consensus (everyone agreeing).

Proof of authority network is usually more centralized because it’s harder to be a validator. Validators in a proof of authority blockchain usually have to pass background checks, interviews, and checks to ensure he or she has authority (like a judge).

Also since “many things are going green” Enjin has made the Jumpnet carbon neutral (Yay).

The Enjin project has a lot of potential and already has over 30 games under its belt. If you think gaming and owning items in video games will grow (I do) then there is a lot to be excited about with Enjin.

The more lockdowns occur the more people will probably escape into a virtual world (I think). Even Facebook has changed its name to META because they are bullish on the Metaverse.

I’m not sure what to think of the Metaverse concept. I’m probably more bearish because I love the real world, but we live in crazy times and anything can happen.

Who would have thought people would spend $300,000 for a picture of a bored ape right?

They also have some strong support from companies like Samsung, Microsoft, and Ubisoft that are partnering with them.

The bad news is there is a HUGE supply of 1 billion coins. Another thing to be aware of is around 10% of the supply went to wales. Wales are people with big pockets that have a lot of influence and can manipulate the price.

Another negative with this project is it’s dependent on Ethereum and Polkadot. Plus, they have Jumpnet, Enjin, and Efinity all tied together and there are a lot of moving parts.

Efinity also has some issues where only 20% of its tokens were sold to regular investors (not wales). Lastly, gaming NEEDS to be fun and Enjin needs a break-out game that builds hype around it (like a Fortnight or something).

Let me end with a story. A long time ago there was a guy who wanted to earn money online. He wasted tons of time and then found this HERE. Well, he took advantage of the opportunity and easily makes more than his day job. Yes, it’s that easy!

“Metaverse” as an idea makes one think that this sounds crazy, contrary to this if for once someone get ahold of a VR before, they must have had an intuition that the mighty internet was paving a path and probably sooner or later going towards this craziness on its own.

The physical world around us is atomized in particles that have byte dependent and based alternative approaches which give rise to metaverse. In terms of natural phenomenon and concepts, the metaverse cannot be expected to be a state of dystopia but will have some value as a utilitarian though this thinking can be to rely on major chunk and cannot be generalized to whole metaverse. All our physical senses that nature has granted us will always be in a weird connection with the metaverse. Hence, the integration of the senses of sight, hearing, and touch with digital elements of digital world will pave way toward expansion.

There exists a requirement to undertake operations, figure out expansion, and thrive the Metaverse. Both technological advancements and philosophical reasoning covers the span, any steps and progression towards any of area will assist to bring havoc in the economic condition of Metaverse. There is a need to understand that economy of Metaverse will not be dependent on the consumption of virtual content, any service structures that are powered or have delivery channel based virtually, and all type of material value assets that can be bought or sold on virtual systems to run smoothly and work efficiently.

If we look back to the times when Cable TV was introduced, it just didn’t get stranded to work on the level of resolution of broadcast-era series, it worked its way towards more specific niche, serialization was done, towards enabling masterpiece series also to establish great brands that will be remembered for years to come. Similar phenomenon was observed as games shifted from arcade to console, this all made it feasible for any game to be saved and any user can enjoy for hours at any time.

If the brains of Facebook take no step towards a new less rigid anti-sex terms and conditions of use over to the metaverse, the user will still have a boring influx of news feeds and no specific content of choice. If Facebook refuse the inclusion of any sort of sexuality inside their metaverse for all adult users, it’ll be a mess and will suck as Facebook is observed to already do.

If we look closely, there definitely is more care and affection from the general people and also from the investors on the development metaverse as a new complete space, though also it is justified to say that a new buzzword is in market called Metaverse. If we travel a little down to the memories of past so it becomes a bit sad reality to observe that the ideas and concepts general public has discussed and tech geeks were imagining about the future of the internet and VR are now kind of molding into almost similar ideas towards all users as the sought-after intellectual property of Facebook.

As the metaverse initiates the flight, many big tech firms will have to stumble over operating systems, and creation of unseen for barriers towards users. OnlyFans, that was seen to announce that they are now banning explicit content of sexual type. The company narrated their stance as, these changes they made are I order to satisfy the terms of use that their banking partners and payout providers have set. So, in response to such stance the NFTs and crypto is all set to cover the damage and bypass the local route of banking channels and payout providers.

PurrNFT is taking a serious place in the porn world with this VR/Metaverse launch initiative.
