Why i believe in Velodrome? 1). Optimism will definitely thrive in the long run, so does its native DEX and Liquidity hub Velodrome Finance. With Optimism going superchain, Velodrome will be the top benificiary that it attracts liquidity from the superchain. 2).More liquidity means better pricing aka low slippage, which attracts more traders, which gives the protocol more fees, which is distributed to LP providers and veVELO voters.The cycle continues.

How velodrome puts a check on farm and dump? 1).Liquidity providers will be rewarded with governance token $VELO 2).people holding and locking $VELO will get bribes and swap fees of the protocol. 3).Locking $VELO gives you veVELO, the more duration the lock is the higher the veVELO. veVELO can be used to vote on velodrome and get that pools transaction fees, bribes and emission rewards for helping governance. 4).So Liquidity farming gives you $VELO, Locking $VELO gives veVELO, which provides better voting APR (fees + Bribes from protocols) and hence people tends to lock their $VELO, hence preventing the farm and dump. 5). On an average 70% $VELO is locked for 3 years - So i believe its safe for a decent amount of time.

Tokenomics 1). Initial supply is 400mil 2). weekly emission starts at 15 Mil $VELO and decreases 1% per epoch (week), i don't remember exactly,currently we are at epoch 40 i guess, 3).There will be a rebase which makes up for the inflation 4).Current $VELO price :- 0.18$, MC :- 30 Mil, which makes room for more growth i believe. Velodrome TVL is around 270 Mil and is the TOP DEX on Optimism and 10th largest DEX in all of DEFI. it was an exponential growth, even though the project launched during the bear market. This shows strength IMO. On fen 16th, Velodrome did more volume than GMX.

Velodrome v2 is coming in Q1, with better UI, custom pair support , veNFT splitting, veNFT trading, so and so which makes it more user friendly.
