Sui is a smart contract platform sustained by a set of validators. Its transaction finality allows for on-chain use cases such as DeFi and GameFi. The blockchain is programmed in the Rust programming language and supports smart contracts written in Sui Move—an adaptation of Move for the Sui blockchain—to define assets that may have an owner. Rust is also the programming language of Solana.

Sui Move programs define operations on the assets, including custom rules for their creation, the transfer of the assets to other owners, and operations that mutate assets. Sui’s focus is on Web3 users and offers decentralized application (dApp) deployment with smart contract architecture. The blockchain uses a process termed “transaction parallelization,” which enables transaction processing in “parallel agreement.”

Sui's native token is SUI, and it has a fixed supply. The SUI token is used to pay for gas, and users are able to stake their SUI tokens with validators in a delegated proof-of-stake model within an epoch. The voting power of validators is a function of the amount of SUI in their staking pool, including both validator and user SUI tokens. At the end of the epoch, fees collected through processed transactions are distributed to validators according to their contribution to the operation of the network.

https://opensea.io/assets/0xD236C7B25C01C0E56e944A664d5f574816C28ABb/2

The Hypernode protocol encrypts all information stored on the Scroll network. It gives users access to their information through validating the user is an active node on the network and that user has the privilege (correct cryptographic key) to perform their desired actions such as inserting, downloading, or modifying their data.

https://opensea.io/assets/0xD236C7B25C01C0E56e944A664d5f574816C28ABb/0
