Today, we’ll be looking at the invaluable reasons why you need to build a strong community for your NFT project.

Before that, I want you to know that your community is the ultimate strategy for achieving the goal of your project.

I don’t care if you’ve got a collaboration with a blue-chip project or your project utility is out of the world. Nothing matters if you do not prioritise the welfare of your community.

An NFT project becomes useless without a strong community backing it.

It will surprise you to know that many projects have lost their value. They were only meant to be short-termed in the first place. The similarity between these projects is the lack of unity within the community.

So what do you want? Do you want to build a long-lasting project with an ever-growing community that creates impact?

If that is what you want, then you need to know the reasons why you need to build a united community.

Let us take a look at them.

Value

The main concept fueling DEFI, NFTs and DAOs is value.

Value is the degree of importance given to somebody or something. Anything considered valuable is more or less desirable. If you’ve been around this space for a while, you’ll know what I'm talking about.

So how does community increase the value of your project?

Well, from the mild history of web3 until now, no successful project has been operated by an individual or a small group. Yes, indeed they started as a small group, but it is the community they form that makes them thrive.

Organic Marketing

Another benefit of building a strong community Is the organic awareness you get for your project.

Organic marketing is the best promotion any builder can leverage for a new project; this is because people trust the members of their circle a lot more than strangers in the ecosystem, so they're more likely to join a community referred by a friend.

The faith in NFT influencers is decreasing by the day because most influencers promote projects for personal gains like a whitelist spot, without considering their audience.

If you keep your community happy, they will joyfully share your project with their friends and web2 buddies because they're getting value from your community. Remember, your project is not for you but for the community.

Longevity

As of this writing, the faith of many NFT projects is uncertain as people are getting hit by rug pull projects, fake promises and unsustainable systems. It is a discouraging time in the NFT space and I’m hurt to witness these unfortunate scenes.

My articles are for the genuine builders in the NFT space who care about making an impact with their projects and are here to build for in the long run.

So how does a community influence the longevity of a project?

A happy community is a community that preserves the life of a project. They contribute their time, skill and ideas to create new utilities that will make your project appear more valuable and stay relevant for years.

Increase token floor price

The floor price of NFT tokens can only increase when there is high demand with a limited supply. If your community members hold your tokens and put the word out, then you’ll have your flor price raised.

Project owners who raise the floor price of their tokens through dubious means end up having worthless NFTs in the long run.

This is a partial reason why so many NFT collection is losing their value dramatically.

Those tokens end up on the dusty shelves of NFT marketplaces because they got no value of any sort, and there is no genuine community backing the tokens.

The web3 ecosystem is decentralized, so unlike the centralized web2 world where a small group of people possess the power to call the shots, the web3 needs the community to thrive, not the project founders and developers.

In recent times, we’ve witnessed multiple rugs pulls, new roll-ups with unrealistic goals, and projects with no sustainability. We are building, ad at the same time being super cautious of our every decision out there. I believe these mishaps are all part of our journey, hence, my next series will clearly show you how to spot a rug pull project and be safe out there.

See ya!

GM guys,

This is the first of many articles you’ll be receiving from me, I prefer a good ol introduction before dropping bombs of value on this page.

Right, so this article is all about my vision for an NFT ecosystem filled with outstanding community builders. The NFT ecosystem needs more community builders.

Most project owners suck at maintaining a tight community. Make no mistake, building a strong community takes a lot of planning and collective effort.

Some projects are experiencing endless bear seasons just because they couldn't keep the community together. I’d rather not mention names :)

At the same time, some projects keep scaling up because they successfully captured the heart of their members and make them loyal holders who see the vision of their project as a religion. Think Veefriends, Ninja squad, and Bored Ape Yacht Club.

Now, these projects started with one obvious strategy… the community. Any successful project thriving in the NFT space has a similar community-building framework working for them.

Not hype building, Not FOMO…

Building hype around a project only gets you at the door. That’s all you get. The big whales in the NFT space are getting smarter from the trending rug pull projects embracing the community. They won’t buy the hype anymore.

You only end up attracting ruthless flippers and whitelist hunters with your hype.

But don’t get me wrong… building hype around a project is a valid strategy for creating awareness around your project, but the best strategy is having a community who religiously believes in the vision of your project.

I advise everyone reading this piece to put this knowledge into good use, my goal is to create a cult that builds crazy NFT communities that will dominate the world.

So, who the heck is this guy?

I am one of many…

I am an obsessed NFT community builder who is stuck in a cave, learning the hidden secrets behind successful NFT projects.

well, sorry to disappoint you but I’m not some 8 figure entrepreneur running a business in silicon valley. Nor a marketing expert looking to rub you off your money or crypto coin.

I believe in the underrated capabilities of the web3 space. And I’d rather train other believers like me than sit still wish-washing like a coward.

My name is WEST3.0

And I want to share these free community-building nuggets with you. All that you’ll read here are baked strategies that took me eight months to collect, while in a cave.

After researching these strategies, I began to discover amazing projects with unique utilities and ballsy roadmaps. My curiosity started running on steroids, and I began to dig deeper into the rabbit hole.

Disclaimer: This page is strictly for NFT project owners, community managers and moderators who care about the long-term growth of their project, and are willing to put in hardwork…

I feel so pumped writing this warm-up piece guys, we’re going to have so much fun here so stick around and get ready to become a member of one of the strongest community-building groups the NFT space has ever seen.
