FIFA: Qatar World Cup will use semi-automatic offside detection technology

FIFA announced on the 1st that it will use semi-automatic offside recognition technology (SAOT) in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which will open in November this year, to assist the referee and video assistant referee (VAR) to make offside calls faster and more accurately.

At 02:45 on November 18th, Beijing time (18:45 on the 17th, local time in Portugal), an international warm-up match began. Portugal beat Nigeria 4-0 at home. Fernando B scored twice. Ramos and João -Mario scores a goal.
In the 9th minute, Felix made a direct pass, Dalot made a pass from the right side of the penalty area, and B Fei shot into the net in front of the small penalty area. In the 34th minute, Osai Samuel made a handball foul in the penalty area, and B Fee scored a penalty kick, 2-0.
In the 81st minute, Dalot fouled in the penalty area, but Patricio saved a penalty shot by Dennis, and the ball hit the left post and popped out. In the 82nd minute, Guerrero made a cross from the left side of the penalty area, and Ramos easily scored an empty goal, 3-0. In the 84th minute, Ramos made a wonderful pass, and Joao Mario easily scored from the edge of the small penalty area, 4-0.
