Why is it that British people pretend not to be successful, then brag about the trappings of being successful? Oh, look, British Airways upgraded me. Again! For the 6-7 time. Lucky me! Oh, it really is a bit silly in here. No bro. You just bought a business class ticket and want to brag about it without your friends/family thinking you're successful enough to just have paid for the ticket. Why?! What is better? Being successful and honest? Or successful and lying? Very strange.
