The average person in North America is generally allotted two weeks out of the fifty-two in a year for unpaid vacation time, causing most people to steer clear of costly flights and hotels abroad — Instead opting to relax at home until they must return to work.

And ONLY if, they eat, sleep, work, repeat; will they have enough saved up for retirement after working 8+ hours a day, five or more days a week the entire year, every year till they are at least 60-65 years of age (if they’re lucky).

With the global economy being the cluster fuck it is, most will have to work way past the age of 65 and we as the people deserve more than that. We deserve a comfy retirement, we deserve to spend time with our family, we deserve to spend time doing the things we love AND, we deserve to be able to take as much vacation time as we want.

When nearly 30% of adults never leave their hometown, state, or country — why should we be limited to only 2 weeks of vacation time per year just to work and slave for a corporation/business that doesn’t give two fucks about us? Let me guess.. So we can make their shareholders unfathomable amounts of money while we scrape by barely making a livable wage?
