This was funny to me, it was the first MJ generation to come out looking like food, and while I have many food pun peices, this was not.

The OG was this fountain looking peice. Honestly “Dick Swett” was trending on Twitter. He is some politician and I have no idea what he does (this was years ago) so I made this sculpture

In the 1930's Hitler deemed most modern art as "degenerate art". In an attempt to show people what NOT to do "The Degenerate Art Show" was hosted in 1937 featuring work by Piet Mondrian, Emil Nolte, Pablo Picasso, Otto Dix & more... (ironically some of my favorite artists)

The past few weeks I have heard alot about "DEGEN ART" & Last Friday was Holocaust Remembrance Day... upon reflecting i remembered this label. For all the talk about degen-ing on art, I was shocked no one had brought this up yet. This is where the Museum of Free Speech comes in!

I deployed my "Museum of Free Speech" contract at the end of last year. This is a concept I have been working on for a while, as all of my art revolves around this notion. While many of you know about my sculptures, I often feel the meaning of work is lost in this space.

Free Speech is what led me down the web3 rabbit hole & The blockchain is an immutable ledger. I often wonder if in the future, people will look at our fight for free speech as a dream, or be in shock that was something we had to fight for.

I love art history, and I find it both comforting and fascinating that over and over humans struggle with the same concepts... but equally as frustrating when we see inhumanity repeated.

"The Twittering Machine" is an original art work by Paul Klee, that was deemed to be degenerate. (over 17 of his works shown, and over 100 confiscated) There are many interpretations of the original work (which is now in the public domain)

I put a still from a video for this, and to be honest, I may have to upload a few frames. I loved the results generated from this image so much. Pre - web 3 I normally just posted pictures of physical sculptures.

This was a digital re-imagination of one of my earliest works (the pyscho-del-dick fun-guy)…and yes you have to respect the pun game. Like I said, the conversation of my art will forever evolve over time.

I loved that MJ brought this back to a sculpture, and so much organic matter. (all my sculptures come on a wood base- from the inserted image though, it would have NEVER know this)

Yes, I make sculptures on dildos, and the large instagram account I once had was removed with no warning and no resolve.

Now I used google vision API, and every image I posted, I made sure was safe for the internet. Its hard to talk about my art & even harder to share the images. So, I realized as educating others & participating in conversations has become so important to me, many new friends do not know about my art, the ONLY reason I am here.

This week, MidJourney launched their "describe" feature, and while I cant input the word "censored" or an image of myself in a bikini, all my art that I input so far made it though MJ screenings (with wild and amazing interpretations)

To me the most amazing part of art, is how everyone who comes across it, interprets a different story from the same Image.

As AI becomes and even more prominent source of creating and sorting content, how does the conversation evolve?

I launched my museum of free speech contracts at the end of last year (also OE burns coming -- waiting for a specific tool to be available!!!) I used to post everything, as a commentary, and on the blockchain, I sometimes hold back, "forever" means I want things to be perfect, I want to put things out intentionally & with the honor they deserve.

But the truth is, the process, the little things along the way, are all chapters of a story, that may start and end at different points for everyone who hears it. I have had alot going on recently, and always want to be in the right head space to put out, and explain my art. But, so much of my art is inspired by conversation.

I posted my first peice of dickor art IG on march 10th 2019.I never intended to become a dildough artist, or expected the reaction to be so positive. The project has allowed me to learn so much, about myself, the world, and others. In the beginning, I was empowered, everything I was told I couldn’t say “as a girl” was suddenly “brilliant” as art. But it also opened my eyes to the lack of accessible sex education, and exposure to any sexual expression presented in any form besides the male gaze. I never cared about the numbers but the visibility was key in helping people accept themselves. My art is for the person who didn’t even know they needed to see it. This project isn’t about gender… gender is a construct, and so many of us are confined by constructs of society. And if we continue to oblige we perpetuate them. This year, I became increasingly concerned with the way that we are able to access, and consume information. A solution I was looking for before I was effected. And then In oct my IG account disappeared. No warnings. Pretty sure I got too poliDICKal. I follow every rule. I self censor, and still get flagged. We know the algorithms are created with “good intentions.” and I only see a fraction of humans who are unfairly effected… I was looking for decentralized socials, and in Jan I was introduced to NFTS. It wasn’t about just my art, but for all the people, who have a message, who don’t have anywhere their voice can be heard…Speaking about my art on clubhouse, I received more resistance than I ever have. My art is about the conversation, and I have been having the conversation repeatedly, understanding differences is so key to unity. I wondered if the difference in perception was because of the demographic on clubhouse / in crypto, because I was using my voice, a “female” voice talking about these issues, where prior it was just the images. When b33ples dick got removed, It was further reinforced that we need to destigmatize, deshame, and decentralize the D. I have been debating how to enter this space. Losing the history, the conversation, the evolution, and the connection was what hurt the most, and I feel like the progression is so important. first of all – this is in response to a clubhouse room. I have not had the time to blog, as its honestly more effective to speak on clubhouse & then I’m exhausted. The first amendment is to protect citizens from being silenced by the GOVERNMENT. BUT having your content or platform removed is not a VIOLATION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT. Yeah we get down to the nitty gritty and all of the CG are pushed bc of legislation… but thats what you get for asking for increased liability from platforms…!=

That being said… 1 year into a pandemic where the only way we can communicate is through social media (and no I don’t think big tech has too much power.. I wonder why we have to rely on social media for everything) not being able to speak on socials is a bigger issue than one would think.

**FIRST: **What happens when you get de platformed? Besides losing all of your moments, memory’s, history, conversations, and direct line of communication?

When I lost my art IG, it wasn’t my priority. It was submitted through the portal etc, (and yes I have access that others do not). Since I have never had a warning, have been able to repost all my images, and they still live on FB + other pages, I am pretty sure I got reported by trump supporters lol.

So I started reposting, kind of a lost cause, but the friends I made through that page were really the ones that carried me through the pandemic (shoutout Jane Jett). I read every CG 10,000 times. All over my feeds were glaring examples of violations, and then I started to get increasingly annoyed.

My project has a message and it is – that it Is OKAY to talk about these things. SO I’m not really trying to change my message bc suddenly IG said nah…

THEN came the Dec c 20th oddly specific changes. And I have 100001 ways they are applied unfairly. And more anxiety about the stuff that I just posted … do I need to delete it (which also harms you in algorithms).

BC no human could possibly moderate other platforms, and I know I have a glaring red strike no matter what I do, I am super by the books. ART used to be specifically protected (what defines art? – another post) but its not anymore

And for the last time.. as far as s3x related stuff, my art is art. DISPLAY ONLY. And lets be real we know I get poliDICKal (though, the loss of all my work what is the complete body?).

how much context are these apps taking in? Not many. you will see smaller pages getting flagged for stuff that lives on larger pages, or vice versa.

As there becomes more attention on crypto, I fear regulation. And I have been preaching this so we can protect ourselves now. From day one of hearing about NFTs, I took two weeks to even download coinbase (which I kind of regret).

And as much as I hate capitalism and money, it speaks over everything. It drives policy. AND when the whole point of crypto is to achieve self sovereignty, I don’t see how the governments are just going to turn a blind eye to the participation in it.

Money drives everything and protecting minors is the message used so that we dont question legislation.

I OBVIOUSLY CARE ABOUT PROTECTING MINORS. BUT most laws set up to do so, actually harm them (SISEA is a great example). THERE IS ALOT MORE THAT SHOULD / COULD BE DONE to actually protect minors IMO

So just like anyone who even mentions OF, Only fans, or posts a link can immediately be removed, I fear linking to crypto based sites will one day be the same, unless we can set up precautions that comply with the systems we live in now – which seems daunting to say the least. For anyone who has had issues- they look at ervery detail. they dont want to accidently communicate with someone underage or anything, even if the conent is harmless.

MY ART PROJECT is to reduce shame and stigma surrounding s3xuality thats expressed in any form deviating from the the male gaze. I am so grateful to clubhouse. It has given me hope for the first time. Discovering blockchain / NFTS has allowed me to see a feasible solution for so many problems.…. To a point where I have completely focused on educating others and bringing them in.  Don’t get me wrong, no system is there yet. But the diversity in people who have access to this tech could get us there….

I make art on d!ldos. I started in 2019, they are sculptures. the first was a mushroom… one day ill put the image on the blockchain….. they range from lighthearted puns to polidickal statements to my views on society….

**My whole life I have always been told not to do things because they will be harder because I am a girl. The first time I remember hearing this was an informational interview with a female sports agent before I went to college. I majored in sports management, and one time working an event…I got called in by a female exec. I was the only girl on the team and was dressed according to dress code. She said “nothing is wrong with what you are wearing, but because you’re a girl and it’s always going to be different, maybe wear pants.” **

I was always referred to as “one of the guys”

When I started work in LA & the music industry, it was always asked, how do deal with being a female in the space. My answer was always … im a qualified human…. (this is deeper I know and not meant to offend anyone- I just didnt see why it should be so called out…)

I have always been s3x positive, I have always been , frankly because it shouldn’t be shamed. I know the privilege that I have being able to do so, but that being said, it has not come without consequence.

UNTIL oct 2020, when to my knowledge I got mass reported by T#ump supporters bc my art has NEVER BEEN FLAGGED FOR N#DITY, I have gotten a ton of peoples pages back, was submitted through the partner portal etc. THe F#cking internet said no… and thats how I found the blockchain

so 1) no one suggest that … you CANNOT market OF links. I have NOTHING against those sites, but s3x educators, and art that includes anything controversial or political should not be put in the same spaces as that….even on a legality level….

Biologically it makes sense to be scared of flying things. But, a dove is a symbol of peace. Birds and butterflies seem so free.

I have so many thoughts right now and am so overwhelmed — scrubbing all my socials — and the overwhelming pain of being censored (unfairly) and knowing that there are so many others who feel the same (yes okay I did get to this lmao for editing this a week later)

In a year where we have already felt cut off from everything (for me at least … not seeing people is new and hard and I don’t have a pod) I have had to deal with alot of stuff and I am not the fun friend right now. SO part of me gets that no-one want to include me. The other part is just like.. it so inhumane to know someone is suffering bc – the longer without ppl the harder its going to be to “assimilate”

To lose an online community & rebuild in a time where people have zero space for something new.  To be pushed in a v small circle of not the ideal audience (and no im not ungrateful for anyone here but to get unsolicited DPS in my DMs every day drives me insane). to go from every post having over 100 comments to – not even 100 likes on every photo – makes me want to give up. Its not about the numbers – but the coolest thing about it was how it normalized things ….

But its not only that… its the implications of what goes further… but I will save this for a better post tomorrow (okay now i remember why this is a draft)

FUN FACT ABOUT BUTTERFLIES. and also something that may subconsciously cause fear… monarch butterflys make the same migration pattern every year even tho there is no return “flight”. HOW DO THEY JUST KNOW WHERE TO GO

I still need google maps and f*ck it up when trying to drive to somewhere I have been before.

So then I guess thats either encouraging or terrifying the way you look at it (trying to bring some positivity here – but goes with the whole free will convo)

On a lighter note- the dove is a symbol of peace. wings are freedom…. and caterpillars turning into butterflies shows that change is beautiful, going inwards sometimes is okay and what you need, to evolve. So I hope this year (or however long) inside does flow to a true freedom that we have ever experienced, where we fly to new heights

I just deleted so much content. so much content that I sacrificed so much to be able to post. This is an attack and its not fair. but I refuse to give up. anyways… keeping happy moments here

I love this photo. And after the conversations I had following my post yesterday; I felt compelled to share it. At other points in my life, I would have been told not to post this picture, that’s it’s unprofessional. Some people probably see this, and think that. But, professionalism isn’t a look, it’s an attitude. It’s about knowing when to be proactive and when to be reactive. It’s about handling your responsibilities and making sure you are doing everything in your power to make the situation at hand possible. It’s making good decisions, being respectful and so much more. All of this, happens through your brain, something that can never be displayed in full through images. and certainly not something counteracted by skin. This day, I jumped in a shoot I didn’t anticipate on being in, to help make art. I shouldn’t even have to feel the need to justify this. It’s sad people do. In an industry where your career and your life are so intertwined, remember to do things for you, do right by your work, and anything else… do as YOU please. People who truly respect you will do so because of the interactions that are relevant. No one and nothing external should dictate how you live YOUR life. And ya this photo is badass and a reminder of the strong women I know who are continuously changing the game @csythes@lovesquish

Our fears today are very different than that of the first humans. But how different is the emotion.

I’ve wanted to make a peens & needles piece for a while, and while fear of needles oftentimes is associated with medical trauma, I took a different direction. We don’t need anymore of that on our feed

Needles and Abandonment were two answers we saw over and over again. (If anyone wants to do a tally of all the answers lmk). So I put together the pin cushion balls and added the hands (which were supposed to be all skin colors FU amazon)

I never expected this particular concept to work on tik tok. That was never the goal. It just seemed like the obvious collab for me and @dildonightmares. And ive def had my moments of frustration and doubt trying to rebuild when IG has always been the best platform for my art… But every time I have posted about this, I have gotten thousands of responses from people stating their fears and nightmares.

And this year, so many people are essentially being forced to live out their worst nightmares. Yet people are so eager to share their fears… (does anyone know why..?)

The overwhelming response to fear made me think bc at first, I was like F… is this too much? Is my comment section going to become a trtigger….(even when I dont post ab fear I get comments, and I never want to bring something up for someone…)

But after a therapy session where I only talked about my research, putting this peace together, and questioning society on a Friday night I had a revelation

What if we all took made the collective, conscious decision to recognize our fears?

And instead of reacting to protect ourselves, we responded by letting others know they are safe

so clearly (post 1) I wasn’t really sure what to expect with the answers on this. I wondered if that was the WRONG way to try and rebuild haha… yet people kept commenting and requesting their fears to be made into art.  I realized fear exists in all of us. a thread that ties us together …

the whole goal of this project is to get rid of stigma and shame.. and when you think about it… those are essentially the result of fear reactions from other. Of difference, of the unknown, of things they dont understand, of things that are different. And in this case metaphorically..

We are saying FUCK YOUR FEARS

Fear is literally a literal thread that tied us together. It manifests differently for everyone based on their unique perspective, experience and body chemistry.

As I added the thread to the needles and hands on the sculpture, everything became stronger, the threads reinforced and connected everything. A literal safety net. Imagine how different this year would have been if instead of looking out for ourselves, we looked to make others feel safe (which I did, and it seems hopeless at times… I cant imagine saying F it! but I wish I could at moments…. it’s so simple to make someone else feel safe.

As humans… we are programmed to survive… and I keep getting stuck on this point… what if our only job was to take care of each other and the planet. 2020 would be so diff. We live in a time where technology changes faster than we do… and im so sick of people trying to make tech liable… as if it isnt our nature to come up with these things.

If our whole community is safe, we are safe

a mask shows people that you are trying to protect them. And we know what it looks like where ppl do that

Sharing & trust would mean people wouldn’t have to hoard TP and purell

and ofc thats just the pandemic

anyways I wish I did have a vaccine with a mircochip that could transcribe my thoughts bc this has been hours in my head & annoying to type on paper…. but alas: the evolving meaning behind p33ns and needles

Clearly, Internet censorship is something I have cared about for a while and this year has opened my eyes to oppression on every level. Last night, on tik tok, when I was ABOUT TO GO TO BED, I saw this video.

Let me preface this with the fact that – for accessibility reasons, people have been asking for CC technology from the Tik Tok, as the captioning built in is really hard to get exact and very time consuming… The apps that have this capability are not free, and you have to record outside the app (so any editing is cancelled out). IG just launched a new App called threads (in the US) that will CC for you.

It’s default settings censor curse words. You can change it, and quite frankly as I don’t really understand their policies, (or really what triggers whatever report bot to go off…) I love it. Like F*CK I wish I had something doing that before I said anything dumb IRL. (Me creating a false reality that everyone has ADHD and gets that sometimes I combine 20 thoughts into one sentence that says something really diff…bc my thoughts are a bouncy ball and apparently thats not normal)

Im not sure at what point ill get over losing my art account, bc there was so much on there (memories, stories, actual art, that I have no other documentation of. BUT the worst part is I truly did not break the rules. As much as I do know that its not the end of the world, every time I go online its a reminder. Ive gotten so many SW accounts back and I know how hard it is.I am probably the only Person who watched the sec 230 stream. (ALSO HUGE NEWS WITH FCC TODAY BUT DOES NOT MATTER BC GA!!!)

IDK what the issue is with mine. The thing that I miss the most is the community though. I got 10 DPss in my DM’s this week. I got zero on the old page. My old page was a community of sex positive people. I know the growth can never be the same (1, its not as novel, every post had over 5000 shares, but this is art that people have seen before. 2) on its own the IG algorithm has changed & so for a page marked “explicit,” its alot harder to find …I will try and stop talking about it soon..(Last cry for help!).. but this all factors into the below

SO BACK TO THREADS. You cannot say PEN15 or V*GINA (once again you can change this). You can say dick (a name). You can’t even say pussy cat (I actually think this is a good thing because if they started to use context clues that would be a whole other deeper level of censorship where a robot is trying to interpret your message – when you start making blanket rules – and its AI making the final calls, there are always going to be groups who shouldn’t even be effected who suffer the consequences) IN ALL HONESTY MAKING THE PLATFORMS ACCOUNTABLE IS A COP OUT. INSTEAD OF TEACHING, TALKING, UNDERSTANDING each other, we just have to make it someone else’s fault… god I hate humanity… jk

So with s*xual content… the issue is that we are trying to protect those too young from content that may not be appropriate.

How old were you when you were taught that “boys have penis’s girls have vagina’s?”** **

(I know that this is more complex, and I hope the convo is different now, but simply this is what I was taught when I was growing up). According to google, my memories, and me asking the few people I know with children, most children learn these words in preschool. Community guidelines are meant to protect (children) from being exposed to material that is not age appropriate.

The words penis and vagina are recognized by anyone virtually anyone old enough to figure out social media… but not always old enough to understand the message, or to learn about the message. I agree that this is important. The blanket exception to the rule is  to keep “explicit/ sexual” content educational (While I love WAP and think that song is a lesson in itself), most educational posts do not need to use the word pussy. And ultimately, there is probably more harmful posts using the word pussy, than calling someone a dick (bc really are we lying?).

The issue with this – is one that I want to cover more extensively, but it falls on the lack of standardization in sex education.(I live in America and I know this is worldwide but – I for all purposes of the moment my statements are pertaining to the USA… I also think our education system as a whole is another thing to add to the list of things we need to abolish 2020)

So what about the kids who’s parents opt out? What about the kids who are taught assistance is the only way but pop culture says otherwise, or they have been abused. **But – its very easy to get internet access in public places. So what do you do when you don’t know what to search for? If you don’t have medically accurate knowledge, or even a basis of the proper words to search… Im not sure how personalized google is but simply typing sex…  goes from WebMD to things that have no scientific background real quick. When a page gets flagged for having sexual content, it often times becomes shadowbanned. (I will cover section 230 and I have made a few vids on tik tok – but alot of this is because when liability is put on the platforms, even the biggest don’t have the means to double check everything. Its why plus sized, clothed models get deleted because it sees too much skin, its why adult stars, who promote legal work that has age verification on another hosted site, get their links get deleted – if we repeal it further – I fear things will get worse) **

“Shadow bans” are what happen when your page has been deemed one that may have controversial content.

When I sent out the link to my new IG – I had it marked 18+ everyone who clicked it got errors….even though they were over the age of 18. I have friends who are verified creators, who I follow and when I type their names in on twitter, I cant find them. I can however find many impersonation sites – with little content but enough to make it look official – its common for these pages to scam fans…  The amount of extra work for anyone making “mature” content, or looking for it… is not only harmful in the age of information & truth… but also just so draining. Trying to keep up with changing rules on each platform… I am SOOO behind on where I want to be on this page bc I have to spend so much time editing for diff platforms (that have zero discover power LOL) – ONLYFANS will be updated by the end of the week… I have found MOST of my OG posts…

An unfortunate consequence of creating my Ig in oct when hashtags were shadowbanned, and though I hardly use them, and still the pages im grouped with and the DM’s I get are very diff. And I abide by policies but by not having my page as 18+ (because I literally have videos of people well over that age unable to follow it, I know that I am not 1000% protecting myself. While I do not even talk about activity… Obviously an art page is not as important as being able to find accurate information… and this is where we go back to “educational content”. It should be available to those under 18, in my opinion. But who gets to decide this?  And now that I have briefly touched upon everything this one 15 second video inspired and probably said something improperly bc all of these things are so much deeper than I have the time or energy for ATM but I did want to get this out there

Unclear if it does not know the word and theres a word similar to labia that I am unaware of?

**THAT one bothers me – The Labia gallery does a great job of explaining and hi-lighting the harm of people not knowing the anatomy past the word vagina – and specifically knowledge of labias. SO if we were censoring vagina, but allowing for parts for education… why are we censoring out a part that lack of education causes harm? **
