For no particular reason; I just do. Like Slogan back in the days of the Wall Street Bets, I like this stock. I love meme coins. I’m so obsessed with this concept of The Ambition of Dumb Money that I don't like the term "diamond hands" anymore—it sounds nouveau riche. From now on I’ll be using #Daimondhand for $DAI, it's more elegant and fits $DAI perfectly.

Compared to the essence of blockchain, which is decentralization based on rule-based rational trust, Memecoins create another extreme through purely centralized means: absolute trust based on pure emotion, yet all this still takes place on a decentralized network that can't be interfered with by centralized forces.

For me, I bought cat coins, dog coins, and frog coins, just because I like them. To me, they are damn cute, and that's one reason is enough. A simple first-impression and emotional-based meme coin, compared to a verbose, whitepaper-like, logic-chain reasoning of "because it's powered by AI, integrated with Depin, multi-layered, parallelized chains, chain abstraction, Poradigm backed... so I invest in it", is just too easily tethered to people. We meme coiners are lay-back, enjoying our popcorn while watching the volatility of the capitals flushing through our dexscreener charts.

Unlike Wall St. Elites, most of us fools have been disparaged as "Dumb Money" for a long time (and we still are).

Ambition of Dumb Money

The Story of Dumb Money

Investment, which modern people take for granted, has always been a privilege (explicit or implicit) throughout human history.

For a long time, it was the prerogative of nobility. Even In modern times, it’s the toy of the wealthy. Before 2008, before the birth of Blockchain, the capital game still enforced a strict hierarchy system.

The generation of the Dumb Money was born at a strange turning point in history, and it reflects almost all of us, the 95% of the general population, you, me, him/her, ze/zer, without exception.

Marking the milestone in the Dumb Money trend was The GME incident in the stock market and the first crack torn in traditional finance by the Meme economy. Just like pigs and sheep are for the table because they're marked docile and stupid, retail investors are to be harvested by the capital because they're foolish and irrational. This isn't a conspiracy; it's almost Newton’s law of physics — no individual can compete with whales.

Dumb money against the world

But it's this irrationality that led to the most wonderful Memestock turnaround stories. For their reasons, retail investors ultimately chose to believe unconditionally in one person (or several people) not selling. At this sweet spot, they achieved the greatest (3,3) action in the history of the human internet.

For the old money, this is inconceivable because the essence of finance is about deception and intrigue—how could people possibly achieve a strong consensus through "stupid" social media? But if they were right, this irrational group trust wouldn't be possible, and the story of GME wouldn't have happened.

Clearly, boomers were wrong.

Even the most brilliant game theorists couldn't explain this rare bizarre human conspiracy. All of this, maybe just seeing the person in front of the screen with a silly red ribbon, wearing a funny cat T-shirt, insisting on doing what he believes is right, reminded me so much of myself hidden deep inside, so I chose to go all in with him.

I need this cat shirt for some deepfuckingvalue

From Ridicule to Praise

GME itself is a milestone and also the Eureka moment for the social media economy—i.e., the retail investor economy. But obviously, it exposed some systemic issues, making it a fatal poison at the same time. The apparent flood-like group conspiracy among retail investors crumbles in the face of centralized iron fists, for example:

Robinhood shutting down GME buy channels

Reddit shutting down the AWSB section Etc. This isn't something that any individual or group can solve; it's a terminal illness of civilization. Thus, the story of GME ends here, and the revolution of the retail investor economy within the traditional financial system gradually fades away.

It seemed like a flash in the pan, but Crypto quietly completed the transfer of power during this process. Memecoin took on the mission of pushing the retail investor economy to its limits. It was historically inevitable. So, the story turned to the page of Memecoins, and the rest, as you know, from $Doge, $Pepe, to $Shib, and now $WIF, $ Boden, $Popcat, and more to come. I hope $DAI can one day become one of them.

We, the native crypto punks, are undergoing a transformation that is hard for the previous generation to perceive (especially financially), turning investment from a ceremonial act into something as casual as liking a post. No research, no endorsement, no empowerment, no value anchoring. If it makes me happy, that's the best reason to invest.

Our generation has started to throw ourselves into the tumultuous waves of the financial game in a foolishly adorable way. We believe there will be more Nerds like us who love these 🐶🐸🐱🐻🦧🐇🐧🦎🐍🪿🐽🐹🐼🐻‍❄️🐨 and are willing to like them with real money, becoming DAI-MOND hands.

What is $DAI?

Unlike MakerDAO’s stablecoin $DAI, We are launching an overcollateralized stumble coin by the meme of production, but let’s repeg it to $1, just for the meme culture.

We think early $BTC followers fit the topic of $DAI; they embraced $BTC with zero guards, almost gullibly, and ultimately received huge returns. If there was any "smart" "doubt" in the process, they couldn't have persisted because, at the time, the public opinion environment considered $BTC either a Scam or Nerd stuff.

I'm also very DAI (Dumbmoney's Ambition Inspired). I like these little things, so I like them with real money. They reward me in a way of outcome, not pursuit. Meanwhile, even when many "smart people" are saying Memecoins are trash. I'm keeping my DAI, acting deaf and blind, keeping the most precious piece of myself - my EGO.

Think out of the box, break the information cocoon, be dumb but ambitious

In this whirlwind of financial revolution, where the lines between humor and investment blur, $DAI will emerge as more than just a token; it's a symbol of a newfound empowerment, a badge of honor for those who dare to dream differently in the cryptosphere.

As we stand on the brink of launching $DAI, we're not just introducing another coin to the market; we're inviting you to join a movement. A movement that celebrates the underdog, embraces the absurd and acknowledges that, in this era of unprecedented financial democratization, there's room for everyone at the table — no matter how unconventional the method of arrival.

So here's to being DAI (Dumbmoney's Ambition Inspired), to believing in the unlikely, and to recognizing that sometimes, the most irrational investments are the ones that define us.

Probably nothing, maybe something,
Stay curious, Stay Foolish.
In $DAI we trust.

<img src="https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/8e8ed4763ce816b1c473be66fd810b4ce506601ae4fcb2dff1c6ac56588b0e38.png" alt="If you are reading this, you are early.
